Afternoon coffee
Living in Shanghai for nearly two years, it is a shame on me I didn't find this perfect date 🥰 place for an afternoon tea or coffee ☕. Now I know what messed up with my lovely gatherings😂. Also it is better late than never, thanks to my friend from Beijing that I got recommended to Barbarossa restaurant. Located inside the people's square park 🏞️, you have to walk a little bit of 500 metres where this beauty will come into picture. Quite mesmerized by the looks, as it is surrounded by a little pool of water 🌊 Although it is afternoon, quite a number of people to take the window 🪟 side view and I was lucky to have one. Served a perfectly whipped cream of cappuccino to soothe my nerves !! Definitely a go to place in the downtown with a unique style #coffeeshop

People’s Square is the heart of downtown Shanghai and a must visit if only to take in the atmosphere. Hundreds, if not thousands, of people walk the street, their silhouettes cast dark in the neon sign light. It is definitely something to behold.

Shanghai!! Newly opened!! Yunnan border stall!!!
Located in the city center!!
Super beautiful!! There is a fairy open-air garden when you walk in!!!
The dishes 💰 are very affordable, mainly some authentic snacks near Yunnan!!
Fat intestine beef shabu-shabu, three random flavors of border rice noodles, stinky tofu fried black chicken, Dali rose grilled milk fan......
Each one is so good!! It feels like I have eaten several national cuisines at once!!
Some dishes are a bit spicy, but they are really super fragrant and super delicious!!
.
🌈Nanyang Palace Dry Bullfrog!! There are actually 🈶 apples in it, sweet and spicy, fragrant and tender
🌈Avocado 🥑 Baba!! A sweet dessert with delicate avocado in the middle, fresh and not sweet
🌈Beef skewers
Must eat while hot!! Fat and fragrant!! Super roadside stall flavor
🌈Mojito Green Raisin Lychee
A very special dessert, refreshing and greasy!!

Shanghai People Square ❤️❤️❤️
People Square is one of the busiest tourist spot in Shanghai. If you are visiting Shanghai, this place is a must see. Just 10-15 minutes away is the Bund and you can see the amazing view of the TV tower and the bund area. Go there during night time. But sometimes, too much people and too crowded. Very convenient to travelers specially the location is just line 2 subway station- East Xujing or People square.

Beihai Road in Shanghai's city area is a seriously underrated niche photography spot
Don't go to the crowded Bund anymore
Come out of the People's Square subway station
Turn at the T-junction where the old men love to chat (p13
It's the incredibly photogenic Beihai Road
The key point is that there are few people and not many cars
It's very suitable for taking photos with buildings ❗️
👍🏻 My personal favorite is the crossroad in front of the Jasmine Theater
It's like going back to the last century's Shanghai
Worth visiting
1⃣️ Jasmine Theater
2⃣️ Shanghai Workers' Cultural Palace
3⃣️ Far East Hotel
There's also a coffee shop called Marmalade
Their scones are really delicious

Magnolia Blossoms in the Magic City—The Magnolias at People's Square are in bloom
The streets of Shanghai in spring are truly a sight to behold with a myriad of flowers blooming in unison, each vying for attention. After having seen the tulips on the Bund, the violets in North Bund, the plum blossoms in Lu Xun Park, and the cherry blossoms in Chenshan Botanical Garden... one certainly cannot miss Shanghai's city flower, the white magnolia. Today, on my day off, I specifically went to People's Square to check in and take photos. Not only is it free, but there's also a vast sea of white magnolia blossoms. Now is the peak blooming period, the timing couldn't be better, so hurry up and come check in, or else you'll have to wait another year! The white magnolia is Shanghai's city flower, and it's rare to encounter such a large expanse of them. The various buildings are particularly eye-catching against the backdrop of these flowers! The photos are also very photogenic! Ladies, rush over!
🚉Transportation Strategy:
🚇Take Subway lines 1, 2, or 8 to People's Square Station and exit from Exit 20, and you'll see it right away

Shanghai Travel Guide, tested in July |||
|||. The planned Shanghai itinerary is quite diverse
1. Pudong Art Museum: Going there in the afternoon around three o'clock is a good choice. The exhibition is very exciting, and the rooftop viewing platform can take beautiful views of the Bund and the World Architecture Expo. Remember that the lights are spectacular at 7 o'clock in the evening. The ticket price is 100 yuan on weekdays and 150 yuan on weekends and holidays. Be aware that the air conditioning is strong, remember to bring a jacket. There is a cafe on the first floor, offering reasonably priced drinks and food.
2. Shanghai Museum: This museum is very large and worth a visit. There are various exhibition halls such as the Bronze Hall, Ceramic Hall, Seal Hall, Jade Hall, etc., and the recent temporary exhibition is also great. Also note that the air conditioning is too strong, remember to bring a jacket. It is best to arrange a whole day to visit, because it is too big here. There is a restaurant on the first floor, but it is outside the entrance, and you need to get a wristband at the front desk for easy entry and exit. You can bring your own food.
In addition, the prices of the museum's cultural and creative small items are relatively low, and you can consider buying a few for souvenirs.
3. The Bund: As a landmark of Shanghai, you must go to check in. If you like to collect stamps, you can go to the Shanghai Tourism Information Service Center near the Bund. The stamps there are very beautiful, and you can also get postcards and sightseeing brochures for free.
4. For shopping, I recommend the route of Yuyuan Road, Anfu Road and Wukang Road. These places have characteristic buildings and small shops, and there are many coffee shops for rest. If you like the literary atmosphere, you can also go to the nearby Shanghai Library.
5. Yuyuan: You mentioned that you didn't go in, but you can stroll around the nearby commercial street. The buildings there are also very characteristic, and there are many small shops for shopping.
6. In terms of transportation, I highly recommend using the subway, which is very convenient and fast. As for accommodation, it is recommended to choose near the People's Square in the city center, so it is convenient to go anywhere.
Finally, you mentioned that Shanghai is suitable for two-dimensional special forces to check in, indeed! Shanghai has many places and activities related to two-dimensional culture, which can meet the needs of two-dimensional enthusiasts. I wish you a pleasant trip in Shanghai!

Shanghai People's Square | A flock of white pigeons
The white pigeons are really beautiful and easy to feed
They are on the road on the west side of the square
Originally, feeding pigeons was just a small episode in the day
(Visit the Shanghai Natural History Museum in the morning,
Go to the square for a walk in the afternoon, waiting to cruise the Huangpu River at night)
It turned into a major event, feeding for nearly two hours,
Because the children liked it too much,
Of course, many adults also feed, the pigeons are really beautiful
Put the food in your hand, and the pigeons will come to eat,
They will also fly over and stand on your arm,
Lower your head to eat the food in your hand;
The claws of the pigeons are a bit sharp,
There will be a red mark on the child's arm
Maybe the child's skin is too tender, if you are afraid of being scratched,
Just give them gloves📝
There is a small shop next to the pigeons,
Selling pigeon food, 5 yuan a small bag,
There are corn kernels and some rice in it,
I saw others also brought their own millet to feed.
If conditions permit, you can bring some rice, steamed buns, etc. from home.
But don't go to the small shop on the east side of the square,
At first we didn't see the small shop where the pigeons were,
So I ran to the shop on the other side of the square, this shop does not sell pigeon food,
I said what can feed the pigeons, the boss recommended me a bread,
5 yuan each, and said that this bread is loved by pigeons,
And the price is very cost-effective, it is more expensive to buy elsewhere.
But the bread is very broken, very cheap bread,
And there is condensed milk in the middle,
Tearing it apart with your hands not only drops crumbs, but also rubs a handful of sticky.

The area around Renmin Square is already surrounded by magnolia flowers
🌸 Office workers spend their lunch break walking around Yanzhong Green Space, where the blooming white magnolias can be seen from afar. The trees are big, and so are the flowers. Come for a free flower viewing experience, workers.
📍Location:
✅ The park square, enclosed by Huangbei North Road, Yan'an East Road, Puan Road, and Jinling Road, also features a large grassy area and a fitness trail.
✅ Across Huangbei North Road, there are also 2 huge white magnolias that can be seen across the street.
✅ If you're talking about where the most white magnolias are, it's probably Renmin Square, right in front of the Shanghai Museum. Rows of white and purple magnolias are planted there, and they are all blooming now, which is quite spectacular. The purple magnolias will take a bit longer to bloom.

One-day tour‖How to shoot in Shanghai‖Lazy version of travel|
|。After arriving in Shanghai, because of taking the wrong bus, I missed the exhibition hall time and didn't go❗
The first stop is the Bund, where you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower on the opposite side
How to shoot when there are many people❗Let your photographer take a high-angle shot, try to make the background all buildings, and place the person in the lower two squares on the right of the nine-square grid🙋
The second stop is People's Square, there are so many pigeons~
❗❗Try not to stand under the tree, there are many pigeons squatting on the tree, they will poop
The third stop is Xujiahui Academy, there is a church next to it, not far away is Xujiahui Park
It's very photogenic and has a great atmosphere
Spend the rest of the time wandering around~
