Phu Soi Dao, Uttaradit
Phu Soi Dao National Park covers the area of the Nam Pat National Forest Reserve, Tambon Muang Chet Ton, Tambon Na Khum, Tambon Ban Khok, Amphoe Ban Khok, Tambon Huai Mun, Nam Pat District, Uttaradit Province, Tambon Bo Phak, Amphoe Chat Trakan, Phitsanulok Province. It is an area with relatively complete forest conditions. #Phu Soi Dao is covered with beautiful natural forests. It is a source of streams. The highest peak of Phu Soi Dao is 2,102 meters above sea level, which is the 4th highest in Thailand. The highlight that is interesting and attractive to tourists is the purple flower field called "Dok Hong Naga" and colorful flowers that can be seen all over the pine forest, which blooms during the rainy season from August to September every year.
Phu Soi Dao Waterfall
is located along Highway No. 1268 near the national park office. There are 5 levels in total. Each level has a beautiful name: Phu Soi Dao, Skao Duen, Muean Fan, Kannika, and Suphaphon. There is water flowing all year round.
Phu Soi Dao Three-Bai Pine Field and Flower Field in the Pine Forest
It is a natural forest area, covering an area of approximately 1,000 rai, on a plain on the Phu Soi Dao mountain range, approximately 1,633 meters above sea level. The terrain of Lan Son Sam Bai is a series of alternating high and low slopes. It is a pine forest with lower vegetation being a vast grassland. During the rainy season, from August to September of each year, there will be flowers of the earth competing to bloom in dense clusters, such as the Ngon Nak flower, the Suwanna flower, and the fragrant root grass flower. In winter, there will be silver button flowers, Inthanon lady slipper orchids, and maple trees, which will turn a beautiful red. To travel to Lan Son Sam Bai Phu Soi Dao, you have to walk from Phu Soi Dao waterfall to the top of Phu Soi Dao, a distance of approximately 7 kilometers, taking approximately 4-6 hours on foot, passing through various slopes, such as the Song Yat slope, the Prab Sien slope, the Pa Ko slope, the Suea Krong slope, and the death slope, which is the last slope that is the steepest.
Preparing to climb Phu Soi Dao
Most tourists want to see the flowers, which bloom in large numbers from August to early October, which is the rainy season. Being well-prepared is very important. Because there are no things to buy on the mountaintop
1. Dressing should prepare light and quick-drying clothes, hiking shoes or sandals with large treads, raincoats
2. Food on the mountain is not available for purchase, you have to bring everything yourself, such as pots, pans, spoons, plates, cooking equipment and various food
3. Other items such as garbage bags, plastic bags, common household medicines, insect repellent lotion, flashlights, etc.

6. During the rainy season, there will be both the Nang Nak flowers, the Suwanna garland flowers and the fragrant root grass flowers. In the winter, there will be the Silver Button flowers, the Inthanon lady slipper orchids and the red maple trees blooming amidst the light mist of both seasons
7. The Phu Soi Dao hiking trail starts at "Phu Soi Dao Waterfall" and ends at the "Phu Soi Dao Conquering Point" or "Phu Soi Dao Field", a total distance of approximately 7 kilometers. The time it takes It depends on each person's physical strength.
8. Traveling to Lan Son Phu Soi Dao, tourists must pass through 5 challenging hills, each with different levels of difficulty:
1. Noen Song Yat, a fairly steep uphill walkway, approximately 650 meters long.
2. Noen Prab Sian, a steep walkway. Most tourists like to rest at the end of the Prab Sian hill because the entire distance of the Prab Sian hill is quite far, or almost half of the entire walkway.
3. Noen Pa Ko, a path that is not very steep. If you look around, you will see "Ko trees" all over the area.
4. Noen Suea Krong, which comes from the "tiger power tree" and the bark of the trunk has medicinal properties.
5. Noen Marana, the steepest section of the Phu Soi Dao route.
