The Pokfulam Farm (薄鳧林牧場)

Formerly the Old Daielry Farm （牛奶公司） staff quarters constructed in 1887 was restored to its historical appearance, displaying artefacts, history records to facilitates the operations and knowledge of Old Dairy Farm to the public. It’s a cosy place. Clean and comfortable. Great for photo-shooting with the buildings and environment. The senior staff quarters (the blue window frame with white walls) was build in 1887 and listed as Grade 1 historical building in Hong Kong. There are several displays at the main building, exhibiting the artefacts of Old Diary Farm. Kids were curious of the stove wall, written notes being kept in the baizi cabinet (well known for Chinese medicine) and love playing with the old rotary telephone. Then, across the building are another exhibition of the community. We got busy playing and explaining the bamboo or canework toys. Kids think: ⭐️ Mom think: ❤️ We do appreciate the revitalise of historical buildings with information, the environment is definitely nice for photo. We definitely learn a thing or two. Vibes the Place (SYP)

There is some magic in this place. Once you enter the cafe, there is a calmness flowing into your body. 🧘🏻‍♀️The whole place is very zen and calming, decorated with singing bowls. Although we didn’t book their afternoon tea set, we still can play with their 🎶singing bowls! I have some experiences with singing bowls, so we played around before the food came. The beetroot rose latte is more of a beetroot latte 🙈 but their tiramisu is creamy 🤤 which i like. Pok Fu Lam's Best Destination | Recommended European-style Historical Sites Tour Route in Pok Fu Lam

Around Pokfulam, there are many European-style historical buildings, which look like buildings in Hayao Miyazaki's animations at first glance! This time, we recommend a historical monument tour route to everyone, which takes about an hour to walk through Mei Foo Sun Chuen, the University of Hong Kong's Main Building, and St. Bonaventure Church. Station 1: Mei Yuen Estate Speaking of Mei Ho House, the most well-known fact is that it was once rented by singer Alfred Hui, but now it serves as staff quarters for the University of Hong Kong and is a Grade II historic building. Mei Ho House was built in 1926 and was a gathering place for the upper class in the 1920s. The church is full of European architectural style, with pure white as the main color, and cream-colored louver windows and fan doors, which are very French romantic and retro. However, it is reminded that the interior of the church is only for appointment holders, and the public can only visit outside the church and related religious places. Weekend lunch at the Cyberport

Having over 10 years not been to the Cyberport! It is located in the south of Hong Kong at Pok Fu Lam. Now there are cinema, restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores. Buses, minibuses and taxi are available in the public transport terminus. This time we tried the Chinese restaurant close to the public transport terminus. Their shop front is decorated with a lot of classic Chinese furniture. A variety of dishes are available in their menu and can be ordered by scanning the qr code on the table slip. Food look amazing and the dishes are delicious. This starts a nice weekend!
