Hangzhou Taiziwan Park | Small bridges, flowing water, and people's homes.
🌟Highlights:
The name Taiziwan originated from the Southern Song Dynasty. At that time, it was a shallow bay in the southwest corner of West Lake. During the Song Dynasty, the remains of Prince Zhuangwen and Prince Jingxian were buried on the waterside, and the bay was named after them.
📹Shooting location:
1️⃣Long chair opposite Fanghuai Pavilion
What a magical location, it's so beautiful! Standing in the pavilion and taking pictures of the long chair and people opposite is really amazing, it's like a forest, this is the real-life version of The Wizard of Oz.
2️⃣Wooden plank road
This is also a good location for taking pictures. Go straight ahead to take pictures of the lake or trees, the water and trees reflect each other, forming a huge green energy field.
3️⃣Nine Creeks Waterfall
The Nine Creeks Waterfall flows down, and the leaves leave mottled marks under the sun. With the sound of gurgling water, time seems to stand still, I love this quiet feeling.
4️⃣Windmills on the lawn
There is a large green space here, navigate to "Windmill Space", come out of Fanghuai Pavilion and walk to the left, you will find it soon. Suitable for picnics, running, and taking pictures.
📝Notes:
Best shooting time: Early morning, you can capture the hazy feeling of the morning. 4-5 pm, the sun is just right, not too hot or too cold, the light is soft, sprinkled on the leaves, the trees are swaying, it's really beautiful!

The area around West Lake in Hangzhou is not crowded! A hidden gem
It's near Taiziwan Park.
I recommend that everyone can follow this route: Yun Song Bookstore—Yu Hu Bay—Taiziwan Park.
Take a leisurely stroll in the afternoon.
There's a very long bridge that's quite scenic!
Parking is relatively convenient; there are two or three parking lots nearby.
Still, I suggest using eco-friendly transportation because parking fees are a bit expensive~
There are also quite a few tasty restaurants nearby! Highly recommended~

I thought West Lake was beautiful, until I went here
Recently went to the West Lake scenic area, it really was crowded. Having lived in Hangzhou for 14 years
I want to say that the beauty of Hangzhou is far more than just West Lake
There are various large and small free scenic spots
It really is the ceiling of domestic travel!
-
I've organized 13 places suitable for spring visits, all very much like a green wonderland

From the "Ten-mile Langdang" archway in Longjing Village, you can overlook the tea mountains and West Lake, a tender green before Qingming Festival.

In Hangzhou, I found the ceiling of domestic free parks~
If you ask me in Hangzhou
What places are less crowded, beautiful, and worth revisiting,
I would definitely say first ✔️Prince Bay Park
Even when the West Lake is crowded with people~
This park remains beautifully on its own!
-
Prince Bay Park is beautiful not only in spring and autumn
On weekdays, there are no bustling tourists here
You can find a bench under a big tree🌲
Or sit in a corridor facing a screen full of maple leaves🌿
Sit on the stone bridge and watch the babbling brook🌊
-
📷tips:
1️⃣The route I took for photo-taking: Enter the park from the bus stop at Su Causeway, walk into the path of the bald cypress in Prince Bay, turn right to take photos of the lake boardwalk and boats (pic 6, pic 11), then go back and turn left to the Fanghuai Pavilion (pic 1, a beautiful courtyard landscape outside the corridor for photos!), standing in Fanghuai Pavilion you can see the big tree with benches that many people take photos of (pic 3), walk from the big tree to the You Ran Pavilion to reach the stone bridge (pic 2)
2️⃣It's very suitable to wear white or light-colored dresses for photo shoots here! Wear a straw hat👒 and bring a book~ Go to the bench under that big tree for photos, full of French pastoral style!
3️⃣The photos were all taken between 9-11 am! The light and shadow are beautiful~ and there are very few people, perfect for taking photos slowly~
-
📍Prince Bay Park
🚗Take the bus to Su Causeway bus stop, and walk into the park from the path behind the bus stop that leads through the bald cypress.

Looking forward! Tulips bloom in Hangzhou Prince Bay Park
Hangzhou Prince Bay Park. 🔥After countless calls, the flower season at Prince Bay is about to arrive! In two more weeks! The most beautiful cherry blossoms🌸 and tulips🌷 will bloom! When the flowers are in full bloom, it will be like Monet's garden, full of various colors!
Especially when the sunlight is sprinkled, it is like Monet's garden, with the cool morning air carrying the scent of flowers🌸, the colorful tulips and cherry blossoms, just like an oil painting, all the accumulated bad moods are healed at this moment.
Just like the comfort of 'Monet's Garden', the breeze gently moves the flower branches.
❗It is expected that the tulips will bloom from mid-March to the end of April, with the best viewing period coming after late March. At the same time, cherry blossoms and tulips will bloom together, forming a dazzling and colorful scene. Admission to Prince Bay Park is free, but reservations are required during the peak blooming period.
🌸In addition to enjoying the sea of flowers, 📸it is recommended to take photos at Prince Bay during sunrise in the early morning or at dusk when the light is soft, to better capture the beauty of the flowers. In addition, the snacks near Prince Bay Park are quite expensive and of average taste, so you might consider bringing your own snacks or dining in nearby malls. Remember to wear light-colored clothes or dresses to make yourself the most dazzling scenery in the sea of flowers!
The flower season is coming, let's immerse ourselves in the sea of flowers, feel the charm of nature, and enjoy this rare tranquility and beauty.

Who would believe this is Taiziwan Park in December
📍《Taiziwan Park》
The vibrant colors of early winter~ Romantic and warm-hearted~
In the beautiful city of Hangzhou, there is a place that intoxicates people, and it is Taiziwan Park. Located in the southwest corner of West Lake, this park is famous for its romantic feelings and brilliant flower scenes. No matter when you come, Taiziwan Park can bring you different surprises in four seasons, allowing you to immerse yourself in the embrace of nature.
The most beautiful seasons in Taiziwan are undoubtedly spring and autumn. There are blooming cherry blossoms and tulips in spring, colorful forests and red leaves in autumn, and the winter in Taiziwan is also unique. From the color change of the plane trees, to the yellow ginkgo, from the red maple all over the sky, to the golden Taxodium.
The fir leaves at the entrance of the park gradually fall under the breeze, and the water surface is covered with a layer of golden pine leaves, which is as beautiful as a fairy tale world.
There is a combination of evergreen trees and dead trees in the park, and the color is particularly layered. Although it lacks the red and green interlacing, it is even more stunning. There is also a mountain spring from Yuhuang Mountain. The stream in winter is particularly clear, a golden reflection, just like a flowing picture scroll, vividly showing the beauty and tranquility of nature.
A gust of wind blows, and the leaves dance, like a free-falling elf, enjoying the pleasure of freedom in the air. The trouble-free tree, also known as the golden tree, is not in vain.
The soft afternoon light, slowly shooting between the bright red maple leaves, transparent texture, blurred light and shadow, starlight mottled!
Listen to the rustling of the leaves in the wind, watch the stream slowly flowing,
Occasionally, you will encounter a few bold birds, take a few light jumps on the ground and fly elsewhere. I will sit on the wooden chair,
I will also lie on the grass with my head up to look at the trees and the sky,
To feel that dazzling and warm light,
Listen to the praise of others and yourself for the beautiful scenery!
Where is the next destination? Then take your lover and set off first, come on! Feel the romance of Taiziwan Park in early winter!

The Prince Bay in West Lake during autumn, how can it be ten times more beautiful than spring?
Have you been enchanted by the maple leaves here in Prince Bay in autumn? I just came back from there, and I was really shocked by the beautiful scenery!
About the maple leaf season, the time when the maple leaves are red to the extreme has not yet arrived, only a very few trees on the shady side are completely red. But there is no light under the tree, the color tone is too dark. I personally prefer the current maple leaves of green, yellow and orange, which are colorful under the sun. Plus, the water quality in Prince Bay is very good, it is blue-green, and there is a cool color in the warm color of the maple leaves, which is too great. Maple leaf viewing date prediction: In the recent week, the green is gradually less, and most of the maple leaves turn from yellow to orange. In the next week, the maple leaves are almost yellow, and the orange tone is enhanced. In mid-December, the maple leaves enter the orange-red stage, and they are about to be completely red. Maple leaf viewing time: 7-9 am, there will be morning mist in Prince Bay. 14-16 in the afternoon, the afternoon sun is very gentle. My pictures were taken around 3 pm. It's best to come on non-weekends. My highly recommended West Lake maple leaf viewing route: Quyuan Fenghe-Sudi (there is a colorful maple tree) or Guozhuang (park card is free)-Huagang Guanyu-Prince Bay-Hupao Park. In addition, there are Jiuxi and Meiling South Road, which are a bit far apart and not very convenient. You can go there when you have time.

The stunning autumn scenery of West Lake is in Taiziwan
🍁 The first wave of maple leaves in Hangzhou has quietly turned red in Taiziwan Park. Don't miss this beautiful park when you come to West Lake to enjoy the autumn.
📍Location: West Lake Taiziwan Park, Hangzhou
🚶🏻Route: West Gate ➡️ Small Church ➡️ Fanghuai Pavilion ➡️ Youran Pavilion ➡️ Big Windmill ➡️ North Gate
⚠️Small tips:
It takes about 1-1.5 hours to stroll and take photos. It's best to go in the morning when there are fewer tourists and the light is softer.
The most beautiful tree is just a few dozen meters from the west gate, and then near the Fanghuai Pavilion, where you can also take some backlit shots of the red maples.
The metasequoia near the big windmill has also turned golden.

To avoid crowds of people getting into your photo, crouch down and aim the lens up to the sky or down to the flowers, increase the foreground to cover up tourists in the background, and use a large aperture (like on a mobile phone lens) to blur peripheral objects and focus on the center. While the park is free to enter, it's advised that you book online to avoid waiting.

Hangzhou Prince Bay Park | A natural healing place to purify the soul.
Prince Bay Park is located in Xihu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, adjacent to the famous West Lake Scenic Area. It is located in the Nanshan Road area, close to Jiuyao Mountain in the south, Jingci Temple in the east, Nan Gaofeng in the west, and Xiaonan Lake in the north. The park covers an area of about 120,000 square meters and is a beautiful place that combines pastoral scenery and mountain forest wilderness, emphasizing the design concept of "returning to nature and simplicity."
🍂Attraction Overview
1️⃣There are two outstanding stores by the west gate: Hubinju and Lanying. Lanying is more suitable as a tea restaurant, while Hubinju is recommended for a full meal.
2️⃣The lawn in front of the small church is a picnic paradise. Lying on the soft grass and basking in the sun is super comfortable. The lawn is surrounded by soapberry trees, and friends who have been picking autumn fruits here have had a good harvest. When you meet children blowing bubbles 🫧, you feel warm.
3️⃣On the way from Jiuyao Feiying to Fanghuai Pavilion, you will pass many beautiful small bridges. The water plants under the bridges are super clear, and there are small fish swimming. Walking along the water, you will see a relatively turbulent stream, where the famous Prince Bay Satin Green Water was filmed.
4️⃣The bench opposite Fanghuai Pavilion is a classic spot. According to experience, white dresses are the most photogenic. The nearby boardwalk is also very popular, but this spot is more suitable for portraits. Recently, there have been many red-clawed crabs at Fanghuai Pavilion, but I was unlucky and didn't see any.
5️⃣The windmill space is a small shop + fast food restaurant + coffee window, next to a large lawn, giving the illusion of being in a Dutch windmill. I saw several couples taking wedding photos here.
6️⃣After exiting the north/northeast gate, it is a few minutes' walk to Su Causeway, next to Huagang Fish Viewing, which can be combined with a visit to West Lake.
🚗Transportation:
⛵️Water Bus: You can take the water bus line from "Qianwang Temple Wharf" or "Hangzhou Hotel Wharf" to "Huagang Wharf", and then 🚶5 minutes to Prince Bay Park. The water bus line operates from 8:00 to 16:30, and the fare is CNY 15/person. Hangzhou residents can enjoy a discounted price of CNY 5/person with their ID card.
🚗Self-driving: You can navigate to Prince Bay Park by yourself. There are several parking lots nearby, including Hupao Road Chishanbu Parking Lot, Nanshan Road Su Causeway Parking Lot, Prince Bay West Gate Parking Lot, and Santai Mountain Parking Lot. The parking fee is CNY 20/hour on weekends and holidays, and CNY 10/hour on weekdays. Due to the tight parking spaces in the scenic area, it is recommended that you do not drive to avoid missing the entrance time due to the inability to park.

Taiziwan Park is free to enter, which is great news for travelers.

The autumn scenery at Hangzhou Prince Bay Park is stunning. If you miss it, you'll have to wait another year!
The Prince Bay Park in autumn is just too beautiful!
All photos were taken with a mobile phone, and it's very easy to get good shots. I can stroll around this beautiful park all day.
I recommend visiting in the morning and at noon. The light is not as good after 2:00 pm, and the scenery is not as beautiful.

A park suitable for strolling in early summer.
✨Speaking of Taizi Bay, the most famous is the tulip🌷. When the flowers bloom in large areas, they are indeed beautiful and attract tourists to come and watch. ✨The flowering season is not long, but the green in the park is always there. These greens make people feel calm, as if they are isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city🌆, and are in the world.

【Hangzhou In-depth Tour】Exploring Off-the-beaten-path Routes, Enjoying Tranquility and Scenery
🌿 Hangzhou, a city full of poetic charm, not only has the gentle beauty of West Lake but also many lesser-known and enchanting corners waiting to be discovered. My friends and I decided to delve deeper into Hangzhou, avoiding the crowds and seeking out those hidden spots known only to locals.
🌅 Day 1: Upon arriving in Hangzhou, we chose a quiet afternoon. After a delicious lunch, we headed to our accommodation to drop off our luggage and take a short rest. In the evening, we strolled through the small market near Hangzhou Xintiandi. It was less crowded and comfortable, with small stalls and open-air performances creating a unique atmosphere, allowing us to experience another side of Hangzhou.
🌸 Day 2: West Lake is the soul of Hangzhou, but we chose a less crowded route. Starting from Ding'an Road Metro Station, we took a ferry to Huagang Park to see the fish. The scenic views along the way were refreshing. Then, we walked to Prince Bay Park, where the irises were in full bloom, making us feel like we were in a painting. Finally, we sat down at a café near Santai Mountain Cloud House, enjoying a cup of aromatic coffee while admiring the sunset.
🏯 Day 3: With expectations of souvenirs, we went to Hefang Street. Although it was bustling with people, the boutique and creative shops were dazzling. We picked out some unique items here. Despite the lively snack street, we preferred to find those hidden culinary delights in the corners.
🌟 This trip to Hangzhou not only allowed us to avoid the crowds but also discover another side of the city. Whether it was the quiet small market, the less-traveled routes of West Lake, or the creative boutiques of Hefang Street, our journey was full of surprises and experiences. If you also want a different Hangzhou trip, follow our footsteps and explore the lesser-known beauty of this city.🍃🌄🎨

Tulip season - Hangzhou
Prince Bay Park🌸
Every spring, when flowers are in full bloom, Hangzhou's Prince Bay Park is the perfect place to enjoy tulips and cherry blossoms.
Prince Bay Park in Hangzhou is part of the West Lake Scenic Area and is famous for its spring tulips and cherry blossoms. The park features approximately 400,000 flowers planted over an area of about 8,000 square meters. The planting areas include Wangshanping, Xiaoyaopo, Rose Garden, Hand-in-Hand Statue, Youran Pavilion, and both sides of the main river bend. The varieties include tulips, daffodils, grape hyacinths, and anemones.
The cherry blossoms in Prince Bay Park are mostly 'Somei Yoshino' cherry trees, which can be seen at Xiaoyaopo, Windmill Lawn, Waterside Platform, and the middle gate of the park. The early morning is vibrant, with sunlight piercing through the morning mist, creating a 'wake-up moment.' During drizzly times, the mist on the petals resembles a mysterious veil, tempting visitors to uncover its true appearance. By evening, the park transforms into a 'color paradise,' with the layered tulip fields and distant blooming cherry blossoms creating a 'Monet Garden' fairyland. Strolling through the flower sea of Prince Bay Park and enjoying the spring scenery is truly delightful!

West Lake is truly stunning! The Ten Scenes of West Lake can be completed in one day
West Lake is truly stunning❗️ The Ten Scenes of West Lake can be completed in one day|||First time visiting Hangzhou in summer, I knew West Lake was beautiful but didn't realize it was this beautiful in summer!! In one day, I checked off nine of the ten scenes of West Lake, except for 'Broken Bridge Remnant Snow'.
🗺️ Total distance: about 16 kilometers by walking, cycling, boating, and taking an electric car, relatively easy❗️ Not tiring for the legs❗️
⏰ Time: 7-8 hours
.
📍 Route planning
Exit from Longxiangqiao C exit ➡️ West Lake Park Pier ➡️ Three Pools Mirroring the Moon ➡️ Viewing Fish at Flower Pond ➡️ Prince Bay Park ➡️ Leifeng Pagoda/Jingci Temple ➡️ Quyuan Garden ➡️ Xiling Bridge ➡️ Beishan Street ➡️ Broken Bridge ➡️ Wulin Night Market ➡️ Fengqi Road Subway Station
.
🏞️ Ten Scenes of West Lake
🔺 Starting point: Orioles Singing in the Willows (I didn't have time to visit due to time constraints)
🚇 Subway: Walk 600 meters from Wushan Square C exit of Metro Line 7. The No.1 imperial garden of the capital in the Southern Song Dynasty, every shot can be a wallpaper.
🔺 Three Pools Mirroring the Moon
Take a boat from West Lake Park Pier, buy a ticket to Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island. The largest island in the center of West Lake, the same scenery as on the '1 yuan' note.
🔺 Viewing Fish at Flower Pond
Choose the return trip to Flower Pond Pier on Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island. By the fish pond, leaning on the railing and overlooking thousands of golden-scaled red fish playing in groups, it truly matches the saying 'Fish swim in spring water, moistening each other, playing with green pearls in the waves.' The ancestors did not deceive me!
🔺 Leifeng Sunset
Ticket 🎫: 40r
Walk ten minutes from Viewing Fish at Flower Pond to Leifeng Pagoda. The sunset over the pagoda, the Leifeng Pagoda under the sunset and West Lake complement each other, breathtakingly beautiful! The elevator can go directly to the top of the pagoda! As a childhood memory for those born in the 80s, this money is worth spending!
🔺 Evening Bell Ringing at Nanping Hill
Ticket 🎫: 10r
Walk five minutes to Jingci Temple, the bell on Nanping Hill rings, echoing through the mountains, resounding through the valleys, wishing peace and smoothness to all!
🔺 Dawn on the Su Causeway in Spring
Sightseeing car 🎫: 10r
Take the sightseeing car from the Leifeng Pagoda sightseeing car stop through the entire Su Causeway, which is three kilometers long, with weeping willows, peach blossoms, crabapple, and hibiscus on both sides, a scene at every step. The Su Causeway in the Summer Palace is a replica, the original is even more beautiful!
🔺 Lotus in the Breeze at the Crooked Courtyard
Get off at Yuewang Temple Station, opposite is Lotus in the Breeze at the Crooked Courtyard, the lotus flowers bloom in June, truly 'The endless green lotus leaves stretch to the sky, the lotus flowers are a different kind of red under the sun.'
🔺 Twin Peaks Piercing the Clouds
At the entrance of Lotus in the Breeze at the Crooked Courtyard, find a spot with a wide view, look at the South and North High Peaks from a distance, if the weather is good, a casual shot is a landscape painting.
🔺 Moon over the Peaceful Lake in Autumn
Walk ten minutes from Lotus in the Breeze at the Crooked Courtyard to Moon over the Peaceful Lake in Autumn, it's not a garden but better than a garden, intoxicating.
🔺 Ending point: Broken Bridge Remnant Snow
Walk to Xiling Bridge, walk 15 minutes to Broken Bridge, a must-visit place for those born in the 80s! My lady~ My lord~
.
Dinner is settled at Wulin Night Market! Comment below with frequently disappointing snacks in Hangzhou 🤡 I'll try them~

When traveling to Hangzhou, be sure to set aside half a day for Prince Bay Park
This time, I came to Hangzhou alone for 2 days and specifically visited Prince Bay Park.
Prince Bay Park is not large, but it excels in its unique scenery.
There are small bridges, flowing water, and green trees. If you encounter a sunny day, it is absolutely beautiful.
.
【Location】: Prince Bay Park, Hangzhou
【Transportation】: Take bus 1314 to 'Sudi Bus Stop', then walk for 3 minutes
.
【Sharing my photo spots】
❶ After getting off the bus and crossing the road, follow the wooden walkway to reach Prince Bay Park. The wooden walkway here is very beautiful.
❷ After passing through the wooden walkway, you will reach a small chapel. You can take photos of the lawn from the opposite side of the lake. For photos of people sitting on the bench under the tree, you need to use a telephoto lens.
❸ Walk in front of the small chapel, there are 2 small bridges. Sit on the bridge and take photos from the opposite side.

Hangzhou | I feel like I've stumbled into a dreamlike 'oil painting world'~
| I feel like I've stumbled into a dreamlike 'oil painting world'~. Who would have thought that there is such a park on the south side of the West Lake~
If every time you look up in the West Lake scenic area, you can harvest a splash-ink landscape painting.
Then, every angle of the 'Prince Bay Park' would be a delicate and textured oil painting🖼
Blue sky and white clouds, coupled with the greenery of the hills, you can snap a fresh and natural forest-style photo in minutes🍃
🌈Attraction features:
♡Chinese landscape gardening + Western gardening art
♡Plants a variety of plants and flowers, turns into a 'romantic flower sea' in spring and summer
♡Has Western-style buildings such as churches, creating a fairy-tale romantic atmosphere
♡Great spot for photography and many couples choose to take their wedding photos here
🚗Transportation to the attraction: You can take bus 1314/194/318/318B to 'Yu Hu Bay' station, or take bus 1314/31/314/4/4B/87 to 'Su Causeway' station.
👍️Must-visit spots: Wangshanping, Windmill House, Small Church...
💗Other tips:
♡It is recommended to enter from the west gate of the park and leave from the north gate, with a suggested tour duration of 2 hours~
♡I think the best time to visit is in the morning, you can come to the park for morning exercises and breathe fresh air💚

Life advice, go to Prince Bay Park on a rainy day
The park's energy atmosphere is more intense, fewer people and quieter
Only the sound of rain and the wind that comes from afar
And the intermittent rain adds a mist over the lake
It feels a bit like a fairyland, such a healing atmosphere
Shooting location: Prince Bay Park
Actual shooting date: June 26, 2024
Nothing beats seeing it with your own eyes Rainy Day at Prince Bay

I've had an epiphany! Hangzhou is like a massive Monet's garden
📍In the afternoon at Prince Bay Park, with the small river flowing, the Lycoris radiata blooming, the saturated colors of early summer make one feel as if they've wandered into a section of Monet's garden. The joyful frolicking of dogs under the sun, wild ducks in the pond stirring the water with their red feet, the sun dancing with the green leaves, the creek shimmering, even strands of hair can sparkle with radiant happiness.

Taiziwan Park, a secret paradise you won't want to leave once you arrive!
Taiziwan Park, a treasure spot that is free to enter and open all day, is recommended for a sunny day visit of about 3 hours.
📍Location: No. 5-1 Nanshan Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou City, with convenient transportation and direct access by multiple bus routes.
Every step offers a view, and every spot is a great place for photography. The Fanghuai Pavilion, wooden walkway, stone arch bridge, large windmill, and big lawn, each corner has its unique beauty.
The Fanghuai Pavilion is an excellent spot for photography, full of atmosphere and cinematic feel. It is recommended to bring a telephoto lens to capture those beautiful moments.
The wooden walkway is close to the roadside by the lake. After taking photos at the Fanghuai Pavilion, you can come here, where every angle offers a different view.
Next to the stone arch bridge, there is also a small waterfall. Taking photos from under the bridge offers a unique flavor.
The large windmill and big lawn are great spots for photos. You can take pictures with the windmill or enjoy the sunshine on the lawn.
⚠Tips: The mosquitoes in Hangzhou are very enthusiastic, remember to bring mosquito repellent to prevent them from spoiling your good mood.

No one has captured this year's secret realm of Taiziwan yet
The photo was taken on the morning of Sunday, March 24, 2024. I set off early, waking up at five to head over from Yuhang.
The weather was great in the morning, the sun came out, and the sunlight sprinkled on the tulips was truly beautiful.
(The location of the small hill is by entering from the west gate, just go straight along the path and you'll see it after a short walk.)

🍃 Taiziwan has many entrances, the most photogenic two big trees are near the entrance close to Siyanjing, enter there and find the lakeside villa to arrive!
🍃 Continue forward and there's a beautiful large garden, this area is very photogenic! With wooden platforms, aquatic plants, small flowers, it's like a Monet painting, perfect for taking reflection shots in the water!
🍃 Walking around the central lake, there are stone arch bridges, pretty little houses, streams, and hanging ancient trees of various kinds, as long as you have eyes that can see beauty, Taiziwan is full of beautiful scenery everywhere!
Walking around the park takes about half a day
Taiziwan Park is not far from Jingci Temple, Flower Harbor, and Hupao, and if you have time, you can check them out along the way.
There are so many beautiful and fun places in Hangzhou!
Especially envious of the friends who live in this city~

Hangzhou's Hidden Gem - Taiziwan Park
During the May Day period, Taiziwan Park is devoid of the hustle and bustle of the flower exhibition period, as well as the colorful array of spring flowers. However, the beauty of the park remains intact with its small bridges, flowing streams, pavilions, lawns, maple trees, jade cicada flowers, and the large windmill, as well as the beaded curtain wall waterfall. With frequent rains in Hangzhou during this time, the clarity of the streams remains unchanged. Walking in the park, especially on rainy days, the refreshing pleasure is still omnipresent.
Additionally, the park also features the seasonal roses, albeit in limited quantity, mainly located in the creative market area of the flower exhibition, which is the fine tulip planting area. These are tall rose bushes with few flowers, predominantly red in color. If you wish to see more roses, I personally recommend visiting Guozhuang and Hangzhou Nursery, which are about a 15-minute bike ride from Taiziwan, approximately 2.6 kilometers away. The second Hangzhou Rose Exhibition of 2024 is currently being held there.
A friendly reminder: during holidays and weekends, the bus stop at the entrance of Taiziwan does not serve passengers. To reach the park by bus, you can alight at 'Chishanbu', 'Yuhuwan', or 'Jingcisi' and walk a short distance. The park is not very large, and it takes about 1 hour to stroll around. The most scenic spots are Wangshanping to the east and Xiaoyaopo to the west. Additionally, the park does not require an entrance fee and is open all day.

Enjoy the beauty of spring at Taiziwan Park
Taiziwan Park's tulips are indeed a symbol of spring romance. Every spring, as all things come back to life, the tulips in Taiziwan bloom on schedule, turning the colorful sea of flowers into a popular destination for Beijing residents and tourists to enjoy the blossoms and the freshness of spring. There, the tulips come in a wide variety of types and colors, blooming high and low amidst the lush green grass and along winding paths, creating beautiful scenes like paintings.
People stroll through the sea of tulip flowers, feeling the breath of spring and the vitality of life, or stop to take photos, trying to capture the beautiful moments of each flower. Taiziwan Park is not only a great place to appreciate natural beauty but also a venue for families and friends to spend quality time together. In this sea of flowers, many couples also hold romantic marriage proposals or wedding photography, letting the tulips of Taiziwan witness their love.
The Taiziwan in spring is indeed a unique romantic landscape in Beijing, attracting tens of thousands of tourists every year to enjoy the beauty of spring.
