Qing Jing Farm about 2 hours from Taichung City by taxi. Bought our tickets at entrance and senior citizens tickets are available. Remember to stamp your hand at the entrance as a proof of valid entry. Temperature here is nice, around 19 degrees celsius. You can start to enjoy the mountain view with a lots sheep. You also can touch and take pictures with the sheep. There are shows available at 2:30pm and 3:45pm, do not miss it, the staff will announce the show time when you walk around the farm. Well-known Qingjing Farm in Taiwan

Most of us here must have already heard or went to the Qingjing farm which is located at Nantou County! There are several ways to get to the Qingjing Farm depending on which mode you would prefer. We went there by taking car from Taichung City and took us 1.5h or slightly longer to get there due to many coaches on the mountain road. Another way to get there would be to take their public bus known as ‘南头客运’. It’ll be a direct bus up to Qingjing Farm and it is less costly compared to taking car or taxi. The Mountain View is extremely beautiful and you get to see many cute sheep roaming around freely! We are allowed to buy the sheep’s food which is a pack of grass and feed them but do take note that, some of them might get a little excited when they see food. Qingjing Farm

Very relaxing walk. The sheep will go to anyone with food, so it is not difficult to feed them and take pictures with them. But be careful some sheep will snatch the bag from you hand! The area is very beautiful and was a nice walk. Although there is a need to be cautious when walking, as there is a lot of goat poop along the trail and on the grass. We tried the goat's milk ice cream and found it refreshing as it had a unique taste and nice texture, although slightly costly.

QingJing Farm Relaxing Day Out

Qingjing Farm is located in Nantou, Taiwan. It was often described as the Little Switzerland of Taiwan, one of the popular tourist attractions. We visited in autumn, the weather was so nice. There was a large open area for sheep to wander around. We fed them (could be a bit smelly) and watched the show demonstrate sheep shearing. There were other attractions such as Green Green Grasslands, Guanshan Pastoral Areas, Shoushan Park Ecological Area, Horse Riding Show and Small Swiss Garden. Worth visiting. Also known as Taiwan’s Little Europe in the Clouds. We rented a car and drove up to QingJing Farm ourselves! The experience wasn’t bad at all if you are a regular driver - it is pretty similar to Genting Highlands and you got to be more careful when turning. During the drive up, we did see quite a bit of construction sites due to fallen rocks. Nonetheless, it is definitely okay to drive there yourself. It is super cold! We googled the temperature beforehand but still did not expect it to be THAT cold! Please bring some heat pack along with you! Sheeps are generally friendly and hungry all the time. There are vending machines for you to buy their food and very easy to feed them. Do remember to bring wet wipes and hand sanitiser as they do leave quite a bit of saliva behind. 100% would recommend this experience! Do visit QingJing Farm. Loving Farm

Quite a drive to get here to see the cherry blossoms but good thing there is traffic control so we won’t come head to head with cars coming from the other direction since the roads are super narrow. Great place to see cherry blossoms with food vendors available. There is also a restaurant that serves family style meals with view outside. We would camp here if the plank size isn’t so small.

I feel like visiting Qingjing Farm every few years, to take a stroll, admire the beautiful scenery, and breathe in the mountain air~ 🚠 This time, because we were on a tour bus, we had time constraints and couldn't leisurely wander around the entire grassland. I highly recommend extending your stay at Qingjing Farm by 3 hours to truly appreciate its beauty. It's best to arrive early in the morning, as the cloud cover starts to thicken after noon, and the weather isn't as ideal. 🐑 A highlight of Qingjing Farm is the 'Sheep Show' 😍 It's absolutely captivating no matter how many times you've seen it! I've seen it many times and still love it~ Feeding the sheep up close is also super fun.
