Apple blossoms scent the air around the pastoral homes of Yili Qingshui River Town
"Perhaps the apple blossom is the most beautiful of all trees, complemented by its olfactory effect. If you come across an extraordinary apple tree, with most of its buds in bloom and a fragrance that is just right, passersby can't help but be captivated." —— Henry David Thoreau, 'The History of the Apple Tree'
On my way to Guozi Gou Bridge in Yili, I smelled the apple blossoms while driving through the farmland of the Construction Corps. I stopped the car next to a herdsman's home and bent down to duck under a large expanse of apple trees.
Elegant, beautiful, and refreshingly pure, this is perhaps the most fitting description for it.
When the apple flowers bloom, Yili in Xinjiang enters its most beautiful and ethereal season.
Unlike peach blossoms, they do not show off a pink hue. The buds, ready to bloom, are like the pursed lips of a child. The tender red hides behind the petals, and the refreshing fragrance jumps out from the stamens.
Fields of apple blossoms smile in the wind, with their fragrance filling the air and bees flying among the flowers collecting pollen. Under the apple trees, smelling the flowers and listening to the gentle breeze, it's incredibly pleasant, as if entering a clear and transparent realm.
The wildflowers under the trees in spring are dandelions, with a golden hue that nine out of ten people do not recognize.
The dandelion seeds possess a unique charm, their white spherical forms swaying. With a gentle breeze, the seeds, like little umbrellas, float in the air like sprites, drifting towards the distance with a mysterious and graceful dance.
Looking at the snow-capped mountains set against rows of purple-leaf plums, they appear even more pristine and majestic. Walking into the courtyard of a herdsman's home, the sun-dried mushrooms cook up another mouthwatering aroma for the big plate chicken dish.
"The sunlight is faint, yet rich, lightly poured into every cup-shaped wildflower." —— (Taiwan) Zhang Xiaofeng.

After visiting Xinjiang, I no longer want to go anywhere else
Extreme three-day Xinjiang tour!
Day1 Arriving in Urumqi, Xinjiang
Wuhan➡️Urumqi➡️s101 highway➡️Jinghe County
On the first day, we arrived in Urumqi and settled in Changji, where we had a Xinjiang local barbecue! The pace of life in Changji is much slower than in Urumqi, people are so leisurely! Although it's only over 30 kilometers away, the lifestyle is completely different! After the barbecue, we headed straight for the s101, known as the 'Little Duku' mountain road, to appreciate the Xinjiang landscape! Then we went straight to Jinghe County!
❗️Day 2 Sayram Lake
Jinghe County➡️Sayram Lake➡️Liuxing Street➡️Qingshuihe Town
The second day's itinerary was mainly to see Sayram Lake. Some people like the Heavenly Lake of Tianshan, but I think Sayram Lake is even more breathtaking! The scenes from your phone's wallpaper come to life right before your eyes! The sky is blue, the water is blue, it's stunning! After that, we went to Liuxing Street to experience the snack street and had the famous ice cream! Finally, we stayed in Qingshuihe Town.
❗️Day 3 Anjihai Grand Canyon
Qingshuihe➡️Anjihai Grand Canyon➡️Grand Bazaar➡️Hotel stay
Anjihai Grand Canyon is truly a grand canyon, I can't describe it with just 'stunning' anymore! Finally, we went to the commercial street Grand Bazaar, which is completely commercialized, but it's undeniable, this is the Uyghur people's big market!
❗Day 4 Return to Wuhan
Urumqi➡️Return to Wuhan
Heading home I will come back again!

Worry-free Princess*Lavender Garden
☘️Experience in the scenic area:
🏵️I came to the Worry-free Princess*Lavender Garden in early June, when the lavender flowers were blooming and the fragrance was overwhelming.
The range of lavender cultivation here is very large, and I slowly appreciated it while walking and stopping, feeling the tranquility and fragrance of lavender.
☘️Introduction to the scenic area:
🏵️The Worry-free Princess Lavender Farm is located in Qingshuihe Town, Huocheng County, Yili, Xinjiang, a key town on the northern route of the ancient Silk Road.
🏵️The Worry-free Princess Lavender Farm is one of the three major lavender cultivation bases in the world, and it is located at 43 degrees north latitude with Provence. The lavender of the farm is planted along the slope, which can create a feeling of rolling hills like in Provence.
☘️Warm tips:
🌻Tickets, shuttle buses: The ticket is 35 yuan/person, and the sightseeing car is 20 yuan/person.
🌻Catering, accommodation: There are many restaurants and hotels around the scenic area, and it is very convenient for dining and accommodation.
