Hotel Telegraph - Heritage Building Hotel
Housed in a 95 year old heritage building, Hotel Telegraph is a 134 room hotel that is member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The hotel used to the the SO/ Singapore (Sofitel) and is next to Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre.
Upon check in, was served a glass of fresh cold watermelon juice and cold towel. Check out time is 11am but when asked for a later check up, I was given a 1pm check out time :)
The hotel was 2 wings. Heritage wing and Hip wing. The corridor and room doors are different but not sure if the room decors see the same or not. My room was in the heritage wing and the view out of the room is the SGX centre. The view from rooms in the hip wing should be better.
There is a rooftop pool and bar on the 6th floor and the view is especially good at night. Other hotel facility is a small gym on the second floor. The art deco motif is very strong and you’ll see art everywhere in the hotel. All in, a nice hotel in an excellent location in the cbd.
