Savoring a Weekend Brunch
After much deliberation, we finally decided on Quiero Mas.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, I realized it was located at the former site of my beloved Spanish restaurant, Fofo by el Willy. The ambiance remains just as comfortable.
For the Weekend Brunch, you can choose four types of Tapas. One of them is Cold Cuts with cheese and tomato bread. It includes two slices of cheese, both spicy and non-spicy salami, cured ham, and a small piece of tomato bread. This doesn't seem like a typical Tapas portion! The food quality is decent, especially the tomato bread, which received high praise from my friend.
The scallop sashimi comes with four slices, served on a bed of avocado puree, which is quite refreshing.
The garlic shrimp is flavorful and has a nice bite. Fortunately, there are two pieces per person; otherwise, you'd be full just from the Tapas. I didn't waste the sauce either, using the garlic bread to soak it all up.
The last Tapas dish is Broken Eggs, which is quite substantial for two people. Breaking the egg yolk and letting it seep into the mushrooms and spicy sausage is naturally enticing. The fries on the side are also very tasty, making us eat one after another non-stop.
We each chose our favorite main dish and shared them, which is always my style. The Spanish pork had an incredibly crispy skin and tender meat, which I loved. The side dishes of pumpkin puree, green peppers, and potatoes were also excellent.
The button-shaped Italian ravioli, dipped in sauce, amusingly resembled Gudetama. I enjoyed the chewy texture of the ravioli, and the seasoning was just right, not overly salty, with a hint of truffle aroma, making it a perfect match with the crispy Spanish pork.
When dining at a Spanish restaurant, Churros are a must for dessert. Thanks to my friend's thoughtful arrangement, the Basque cheesecake with 'Happy Birthday' written on it was also delicious.
In the hot weather, a few sips of Colada were refreshing!

A Delightful Weekend - Mediterranean Weekend Brunch
I've always bookmarked this restaurant because of its beautiful decor, open view, and spacious seating. Choosing this place for a weekend brunch with friends to celebrate a birthday is quite fitting.
Each person costs HK$388, with a choice of 4 out of 8 tapas for starters, 1 out of 5 main courses, and 1 out of 3 desserts. Drinks are not included, but you can opt for a 2-hour free-flow of selected alcoholic beverages for HK$218. Alternatively, you can order drinks separately like we did.
The avocado scallops for starters were very tender; the cold cut cheese with tomato toast was generous in portion; the garlic shrimp was quite bouncy, and the rich sauce was perfect for dipping bread.
The main course of suckling pig had crispy skin and tender meat, highly recommended. The black truffle cheese ravioli was cute in appearance and tasted good too.
