Renaissance Xiamen Hotel was nothing short of bliss! Staff were polite and helpful, room was gorgeously luxurious with an unforgettable sea view from the balcony! It is worth mentioning the hot tub with a big window facing the sea, it was my favorite part of the room. It is definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in Xiamen! The hotel is located in a peaceful and beautiful area of Tong’an district, just in front of the beach. The hotel is clean and beautiful! There are two swimming pools - indoor and outdoor, gym, SPA and sauna. The territory of the hotel is pretty big, full of plants and flowers, plus there are many places where guests can have a rest by sitting in one of the gazebos with table and soft chairs. The buffet breakfast was okay, but in other hotels the variety of food was richer. I guess this is the only things I would improve in this hotel. Dongdu Wharf is 19.9 miles from Renaissance Xiamen Hotel, while Xiamen Conference & Exhibition Centre is 21.7 miles from the property. The nearest airport is Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, 15.5 miles from the accommodation. They have a very big outside pool but I enjoyed swimming in the indoor swimming pool the most! across the road from the hotel you will find a shopping mall and next to the hotel a cinema. The Xiamen Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is located to the northeast of the hotel. I used to stay one night at each hotel, but this time I stayed at the Renaissance for the entire trip due to the Q3 situation. Room: I stayed in an Ocean View King Room this time. The room is 60 sqm, much larger than the rooms at the Marriott. However, you can choose to stay in a villa or a poolside room at the Marriott.
