Lushan Waterfall, an absolutely breathtaking place you can't miss!
📍First, do you know how to get there? Lushan is located in Jiujiang City. Although there is a bit of a distance between Jiujiang Station and Lushan Station, trust me, it's all for a journey that's worth it!
🌆Jiujiang, a city built along the river, hides three riverside attractions: Pipa Pavilion, Suojiang Tower, and Xunyang Tower. They are super close to each other, just one or two kilometers apart, and you can feel the charm of the head of the Xunyang River described by Bai Juyi. Walking through these places is like having a conversation with history, feeling the magic and flow of a thousand years.
🏞Next, let's talk about the foot of Lushan. Here, not only are there famous sites like Bailudong Academy, Xiufeng Waterfall, and Donglin Temple, but also the spectacular scene described by Li Bai as 'the waterfalls fly straight down three thousand feet'! It only costs 120r to take a taxi from Suojiang Tower to Xiufeng Waterfall, and the same price from Xiufeng Waterfall to Lushan Station. In March, Lushan attractions are free of admission, and the cable car offers half-price student tickets, which is an amazing benefit!
🌧To see the waterfall, you must choose a rainy day. Although it's a bit of a gamble, trust me, it's definitely an adventure worth taking! The Lushan cable car may be old, but the feeling of the wind leaking through just adds a bit of fun to the adventure. Two people sitting side by side, ascending through the misty clouds, with an excellent view, as if you are in an ink painting. Even if the water flow of Xiufeng Waterfall is not as strong as other waterfalls, in the misty rain, it is the most eye-catching presence in the entire journey. You can also get off in the middle of the cable car ride to enjoy the view, take a photo with Li Bai, and look out at the waterfall, which is simply awesome!
🚖Finally, take a taxi to Lushan Station, and on the way, you can pass by the Donglin Great Buddha, with the cloudy sky behind the Buddha so spectacular it takes your breath away. However, be aware that Lushan Station stops checking tickets five minutes in advance!
💥So, don't hesitate any longer, come to Lushan and experience this beautiful journey!💥

Jiujiang's Ancient and Modern Charm: Exploring Cultural Relics and Natural Scenery!
As a cultural city in the Jiangnan region with a history of over 2,200 years, Jiujiang is known as the 'North Gate of Jiangxi' due to its rich cultural heritage and rare historical sites, undoubtedly becoming a popular tourist destination for both domestic and international visitors.
Located on the banks of the Yangtze River, Xunyang Tower has a long history dating back to the Song Dynasty and is listed among the top ten famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River. This Song-style building, with its upturned eaves and corners, seems to narrate the legendary stories of the heroes of the Water Margin. Visitors can take bus No. 51 to reach this place, and with only a 19 yuan ticket, they can fully appreciate its elegance.
Standing on the land of Jiujiang, the Suojiang Tower and Suojiang Pagoda both carry profound historical significance. Suojiang Tower, also known as Hui Long Tower, was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty to pray for favorable weather; Suojiang Pagoda was born in 1586, standing 35 meters tall with a hexagonal seven-tier structure. When the breeze blows, the wind chimes hanging on the tower play a melodious and crisp tune, open to the public for free, and can be reached by taking bus No. 9.
Pipa Pavilion is a site full of Tang Dynasty elegance, originally built in the early Tang period and having withstood a millennium of history, it now sits in the urban area of Jiujiang and is accessible by bus No. 502. The great poet Bai Juyi once wrote the widely acclaimed 'Pipa Xing' here, making Pipa Pavilion famous, now welcoming guests from all directions with a 39.9 yuan ticket.
The Jiujiang Yangtze River Bridge, spanning the Yangtze River, is not only the largest dual-use bridge for both rail and road traffic in the Yangtze River basin in the 1990s in China but also an important hub connecting north and south traffic. It is also a landmark tourist attraction of Jiujiang City. Visitors can take bus No. 9 to the Old University Station in Xunyang District to admire it.
Moreover, the Jiujiang City Museum, as a large local comprehensive museum established in June 1978, houses a rich collection with high research value. Visitors can take bus No. 18 to the Cultural and Art Center for a tour, and the admission is free.
Lastly, when mentioning the natural and cultural treasures of Jiujiang, one must not forget the world's earliest institution of higher learning - Bailudong Academy. It is one of the best-preserved among China's four great academies, with a tranquil and beautiful environment. Visitors can take bus No. 69 to Haikui Town and then take a taxi to reach it, with a 40 yuan ticket allowing you to experience the living situation of ancient scholars.
As for Mount Lu, it is one of Jiujiang's natural wonders. The magnificent scene of the Lushan Waterfall described in Li Bai's poem 'The waterfalls three thousand feet from high, as if the Milky Way had tumbled from the sky' refers to the grandeur of the Lushan Waterfall. You can take bus No. 69 to Haikui Town, then transfer to a taxi to reach Mount Lu, to witness the majestic Sandiequan Waterfall and appreciate the full view of Mount Lu, with a ticket price of 160 yuan.
When you come to Jiujiang, don't forget to taste the wide variety of authentic local snacks around Jiujiang University, and experience a feast for the taste buds. Choose to stay in a hotel near the train station, not only to enjoy convenient transportation but also to easily visit various scenic spots and fully enjoy the charm of poetic Jiujiang.
