A Two-Day Trip to Shunde
A Two-Day Trip to Shunde
We arrived at the hotel smoothly at nine o'clock on Saturday after a two-hour ride on the high-speed train and the subway (Picture 1). The hotel is located on the periphery of Qinghui Garden, and we could see the scenery of Qinghui Garden through the window, which was quite nice. After a short rest and leaving our luggage, we went to Huagai Road to find something to eat. Huagai Road is a street full of specialty snacks, offering a wide range of choices. We had fish noodles and fish skin, then went back to the hotel to rest. At two o'clock, we first visited Qinghui Garden, and after that, we took Line 3 to Tongji Road. Tongji Road is a street full of coffee shops, each with its own characteristics, but my friend and I are not very interested in coffee. Instead, we found this tea shop filled with green plants (Picture 2) quite special, so we went in for tea. We also visited Xianxing Bookstore (Picture 3), intending to order something and read quietly by the window, but it was too crowded and noisy, so we left. We strolled around and did some window shopping at the coffee shops there.
On Sunday, after breakfast on Huagai Road, we took Line 3 directly to Lunjiao, which was just three stops away. First, we went to Ming Stone Garden (Picture 4) to see the mansion of the wealthy. The garden was actually a bit small, and the ¥20 ticket was not very worthwhile, but it was still nice for taking photos. Next, we visited the Turtle Jelly Cultural Experience Museum (Picture 5) right next to Ming Stone Garden to taste authentic turtle jelly. Then we went to Tianyi Lang Garden, which is the Xiangyunsha Museum with distinctive architecture, allowing for very modern photos. Unfortunately, when we got there, the security guard said they were off on Sundays and wouldn't open the doors, which left us speechless 😓. We had no choice but to take a taxi directly to the last stop in Lunjiao - Fisherman's Wharf (Picture 6). It is a cultural park transformed from an abandoned factory, where the restaurants, tea shops, and graffiti reflect the collision and integration of modern and traditional culture, making it worth visiting. After two o'clock, we took a car back to Huagai Road to stroll around the pedestrian street and enjoy the classic traditional local cuisine, and even packed some to take home for our families to taste. At seven o'clock, we took a car back home, concluding our two-day trip to Shunde~

Shunde Fisherman's Wharf, encounter a retro and romantic journey
Fisherman's Wharf
⛵️Ronggui Fisherman's Wharf, as Shunde's urban revitalization project, has been transformed and renewed. It is the first place in Ronggui to be rated as a National AAA Tourist Attraction. Here, I found the beauty of the interweaving of the charm of the years and the breath of modernity.
The predecessor of Ronggui Fisherman's Wharf was the Shunde Food Import and Export Company, which was the most glorious grain trade export station in Ronggui in the 1960s. Later, after the 'three olds' renovation, it became a famous 🎨internet-famous check-in spot in Ronggui and even Shunde, especially attracting a lot of young people.
The nostalgic old factory industrial culture style street, the graffiti walls✍️ that many young people like, the old food factory, old boat stakes, the original site of 'Jiande Wharf', a 14-ton Hall anchor, DT2 lighthouse, chimney, Desheng Art Museum, Edo House, etc., are all steeped in the memory of Shunde.
🌇As the sun sets, experiencing the sunset time at the wharf by the river is the busiest time at the Fisherman's Wharf. The small market on both sides of the road has already started to get lively. Here you can enjoy all kinds of different delicacies, making it hard to leave.
⚠️It is recommended to go there around 2-3 pm, so you can see both during the day and in the evening. The playing time is about 2-4 hours.

Shunde Fisherman's Wharf. The Fisherman's Wharf patted you "You're here"
Location: Ronggui Fisherman's Wharf, Shunde
The Fisherman's Wharf is a local place with a literary and petty bourgeoisie atmosphere, featuring distinctive creative shops, coffee, bars, restaurants, etc., all available, and it is also a photography check-in sanctuary. After getting tired of eating in Shunde, you can choose to stroll around at sunset, the evening time is even more atmospheric~
Transportation: It is recommended to take a taxi or drive by yourself, there are many parking lots around, I personally recommend parking at the roadside parking lot on Rongqi Avenue, and then walk in from Beizha Street~
Photography check-in spots:
1⃣ Lighthouse, which seems to put on a wedding dress after lighting up
2⃣ McDonald's dessert station, every bite is sweet
3⃣ Cat Food Factory, there is a (●- Baymax on the roof
4⃣ Beizha Street, the decoration of the shops on the whole street is very artistic and fresh
5⃣ ACOFFE cafe, the environment is really comfortable

The Ronggui Fisherman's Wharf in Shunde is a tourist attraction
The Ronggui Fisherman's Wharf is an important sub-project of the 'Ronggui Times' revitalization project for the 'three old' renovations in Shunde Ronggui, and it is also a national AAA-rated tourist attraction. This area was once the grain distribution center and commercial hub of Shunde, carrying the collective memory of the people of Ronggui. After the renovation, the Fisherman's Wharf has become a new commercial landmark for citizens to reminisce about the past and enjoy leisure and entertainment.
The Fisherman's Wharf is located at No. 16 Dongdi Road, Ronggui Street, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. Its most distinctive feature is its artistic and romantic style, with various shops built according to the characteristics of the site, each with its own style, set against the backdrop of riverside natural scenery, and composed of iconic scene designs with elements such as lighthouses, wind chimes, red bricks, and ship anchors. In addition, the Fisherman's Wharf is also a romantic scene-style cultural and tourism district that integrates sightseeing, cultural creativity, internet-famous check-ins, wedding photography, leisure and entertainment, and the pursuit of Shunde flavors.

Foshan•Shunde Station
Had a half-day tour in Foshan, Guangdong with a good friend🚶♀️ We set off at 12 noon, took the city rail from Changping Station in Dongguan and transferred to the subway to Daliang Clock Tower Station🚇
🧭Then navigated on foot to Huagai Road Pedestrian Street. As soon as we arrived, we bought Ah Bao lemon tea (for the logo of Shunde haha🥰tasty and very refreshing). We went to Minxin Old Store (highly recommend the double-skin milk! It's the best I've ever had, no competition!). We also had the gold-thread beef pastry (the crust is very crispy and hard, the filling is great 8⃣️). We passed by Huagai Mountain Trail, if you have plenty of time you can climb it⛰️ (it's basically stairs!). Since it was already past 4 pm when we got here, we decided not to go to Jinbang Upper Street (if you have enough time, you can go, it should also be very photogenic).
➡️Next, we took a taxi to the Fisherman's Wharf⛵️There really were a lot of people taking pictures with balloons (you can rent a balloon for 15r for about half an hour, and there are also people who help take photos with a camera📷 about 40r for 10 photos). We took some too, but weren't very satisfied😭 (everyone must make sure to check the photos and be satisfied before paying!). The sunset at the Fisherman's Wharf around six or seven o'clock is very beautiful and has a great atmosphere, very healing🌄. The graffiti wall is also here, but we didn't like it much and it wasn't very photogenic.
➡️By the time it got dark, there were many street snacks. We bought the recommended Fengcheng fish skin, bursting tofu, and thumb package (all pretty average). We packed 2 portions of double-skin milk, the taste was absolutely amazing👍
➡️Finally, we took a taxi to Happy Harbor and took the subway back (if you have time, you can go, it should also be very beautiful and fun). Because we were pressed for time this trip, we couldn't visit some places and didn't finish some of the delicacies. There's always a bit of regret, but the process was happy🥳 Tired and happy👻 Shunde is worth a visit!

Shunde Fisherman's Wharf | Stop looking for Lisa's graffiti wall
Stop looking for Lisa's graffiti wall. After lunch, take a stroll at the Fisherman's Wharf.
During my visit, a girl asked me where Lisa's graffiti wall was.
I pointed at a blank wall and said, it's been painted over.
🙊 Everyone, please stop searching for Lisa's graffiti.
‼️ The photo is old, indeed photos become outdated if you don't share them.

ShunDe •͈ᴗ•͈ Fisherman's Wharf!
I must say, taking photos at Fisherman's Wharf is really amazing! But there are really a lot of people taking pictures, so you must pay attention to safety⚠️ There are so many cars on the road.
It's a pity that I didn't see the sunset when I went there today because it was cloudy.
Fisherman's Wharf is a place I've been to once and would like to visit again.
It's definitely worth the trip🤗

Who says Shunde is only about food? The local culture here is incredibly photogenic
After visiting Shunde during the Spring Festival to avoid the crowds, I didn't go to the popular spots but instead took a stroll around Ronggui Street. To my surprise, the local culture there was simply amazing. A short street was brimming with the essence of everyday life. Not only that, but I also found the nostalgic alleyways of my memories there.
👇🏻Guide Navigation
📷Photo Spot 1⃣️: (P2-P12)
✅Address: You can navigate to Xiao Po Changfen, then cross a bridge to get there
⭐Photography Highlights:
🟠Shunde's version of Jiangnan water towns (I think it has a bit of a small-town Venice vibe)
🔵Vintage movie billboard style
🔶Scenes of everyday life everywhere
🔷Artistic atmosphere inside and outside the cafes
⚠️tips: Please be respectful when taking photos, do not disturb the residents' lives.
📷Photo Spot 2⃣️: Fisherman's Wharf (P13-P15)
Here you can not only see the beautiful sunset and the busy harbor, but there are also many wall graffiti, making it a great spot for portrait photography.
📷Photo Spot 3⃣️: Huagai Road Pedestrian Street - Kang Le Lane (P16-P20)
This is a quiet alley I stumbled upon by chance. Compared to Huagai Road Pedestrian Street, this alley offers more tranquility. It has a hidden-in-plain-sight vibe. The alley is not long, just a few hundred meters, but the old bricks and tiles always remind me of the alleys I used to run through as a child.

I thought Qingdao was already very beautiful, until I went to Yantai~
Yantai's winter is simply a romantic treasure! 😍
If you think Shandong is just about Qingdao and Weihai, then you definitely haven't experienced the low-key luxury of Yantai! 👏 Seagulls singing in your ears, small islands winking in the distance, the sunset dyes the seaside orange, and the sea breeze gently brushes your cheeks. Even if we're old friends, I'm still caught off guard by its beauty every time I come.
📜 Record my little Yantai adventure 3 days and 2 nights version🤗
🎒𝗗𝗮𝘆1: First relax and go see the 'Lonely Whale', then stroll around Golden Beach, breathe in the fresh air of the Back Sand Square, and go to Chaoyang Street for trendy food and fun at night!
🎒𝗗𝗮𝘆2: The Fisherman's Wharf is so beautiful in the early morning, I feel like I've walked into the sea Prague! Walking and stopping on Binhai Middle Road, I unknowingly arrived at the First Seawater Bathing Beach, and it's a pity not to go to the blooming stone at night!
🎒𝗗𝗮𝘆3: The last day is the relaxation time on Yangma Island, the beautiful scenery of Lotus Sunset makes people not want to go home, the sunset on Camelback Road, beautiful cry!
⚡ Must go to Yantai's 5 check-in holy places!
1️⃣ Zhifu Island|The scenery is so beautiful that it makes you doubt life, we don't need to go abroad, here you can enjoy the island scenery!
2️⃣ Fisherman's Wharf|Full of romance, standing in front of the European-style building by the sea, I guarantee that the photos you take are all drunk!
3️⃣ Lonely Whale|This whale that looks legendary, who comes to Yantai without seeing it counts as a visit.
4️⃣ Blooming Stone|Standing on the high ground facing the evening wind, the mood at the time of the lights, you know.
5️⃣ Yangma Island|The color of the sea water is so beautiful that it explodes, as if the sentiment of Mi Da suddenly came.
🏨 Where to stay?
Don't worry! It's best to stay near Yantai University, with food, shopping, and transportation all in place!
🐟 Let's talk about food~
Sea intestine fried rice is fragrant and glutinous, Spanish mackerel dumplings are fresh and delicious, seafood stew is full, um, I'm drooling as I speak! Don't forget to check in at 'Mong Kok Small Fishing Village' before you leave, Yantai's seafood will definitely make you lick the plate!
Bring your camera, Yantai is waiting for you to explore! 🏖️💖

Guangzhou- the real port of trade
#visitguangzhou
With the rapid development of China, one can see grand buildings and modern technology everywhere in the country including Guangzhou, but what I love most about the city is its remaining barter flavour in the local markets.
You can still find many simple stalls selling home-grown fruits and self-caught seafood. Haggling is possible and it is fun when you make a bulk purchase and get a good deal.
Since Guangzhou is geographically near waters - riverfood, seafood and fishes in general are prolific and fresh.
