[2024 Hong Kong Stay] Travel Guide for Rosewood Hong Kong (Updated Nov)
In Hong Kong! I found my dream house! I don't want to leave at all!
🏙️The room faces Victoria Harbour and the International Finance Centre (IFC), which is one of the most representative cityscapes of Hong Kong in my mind, and also one of the most beautiful corners in the world in my mind.
🏕️Environment: It is one of the best hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui with the best night view, just like The Ritz-Carlton.
🏡Room type: Standard, in the inch of gold in Hong Kong, the room is very large, most rooms can see the Victoria Harbour sea view, highly recommended.
🛀Facilities: Complete, beautifully decorated, swimming in the infinity pool is refreshing, the bathroom is really beautiful.
🚗Transportation: It is recommended to take the subway to Tsim Sha Tsui and then slowly walk along the Avenue of Stars to K11, next to the Rosewood. It is very suitable for the CITYWALK route, the landscape is beautiful, and you can enjoy the Victoria Harbour scenery.
🎪Surroundings: There are a lot of food, drink and fun, and you can take a tour of Victoria Harbour by boat within a few hundred meters.
❤️Facilities and services: Whether it is Cantonese, Mandarin or English, you can communicate perfectly, and the details are full.

Hong Kong Rosewood | Staying in a hotel with a designer
Rosewood hotels
After experiencing the Rosewood hotels in London, Beijing, and Sanya, I have been wanting to see how Mr. Ji Yutang built the Rosewood in a city with a diverse culture since the Hong Kong Rosewood opened in 2019. I took a break from my busy schedule and stayed here.
The Hong Kong Rosewood Hotel is located in Victoria Dockside, a combination of art, design, and concept retail areas. The predecessor of this place was the Swire Wharf in 1910, which carries the urban memory of this city in the 70s and 80s.
The interior of the hotel is custom-made by Tony Chi, a Chinese international design master. It tells the story of Hong Kong. Adventure and return are not contradictory. Pursuing classics is an eternal proposition. With its far-sighted artistic concept, it will redefine the journey of the Rosewood Hotel experience.
The inspiration for the interior space comes from the art and craft art movement at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. A large number of pure contemporary decorative art materials and handicrafts are used to combine modern residential life and contemporary decorative inspiration. British style and European atmosphere are cleverly integrated into the interior design by the designer, presenting the concept of "Details Within Details".
Benevolent people love mountains, and wise people love water. He strives to create a landscape with mountains and rivers, and builds a manor dream in a vertical skyscraper.

Rosewood Hong Kong has exclusive views of Victoria Harbour!
Rosewood Hong Kong has exclusive views of Victoria Harbour. The Rosewood is so photogenic.
The unbeatable sea view is so beautiful! Come and check in with Jennie's same style, especially in the morning, the sea is sparkling with mirrors! I'm almost dizzy.
It's especially suitable for girls who like to take pictures.
Stay 2 and pay 1 is really cost-effective and also send a $100 consumption coupon.
The downstairs k11 shopping is really convenient and close to Harbour City.
I feel that the designer likes symmetrical design and even the shower is two facing each other.
I'm still wondering if anyone will take a bath face to face.
The details of the Rosewood Hotel are always the most in place, and the others are not important. It is necessary to have a silver ice bucket and stolzle crystal wine glass. Rosewood is the best in this respect, and no other can match it.
The same black and white marble bathroom, Ritz Carlton is a bit local tyrant, Waldorf is a bit old-fashioned. Four seasons are neither good nor bad. Only Rosewood combines luxury and art so cleverly.
Beijing Rosewood is inferior in view, London Rosewood is inferior in area, but the golden dog at the front desk in London surprised me. This is the first time I have seen a hotel that raises dogs on its own, which is rare.

Everyone says that The Ritz-Carlton is the ceiling of Hong Kong hotels, and after staying there, I believe it
If someone asks me which is the best hotel in Hong Kong? I would not hesitate to say, The Ritz-Carlton. Due to work, I have been to Hong Kong several times and stayed at The Ritz-Carlton twice, which left a very good impression on me.
🏨 The Ritz-Carlton Hotel is located at No. 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Tsim Mong District, Kowloon, Hong Kong, more than 300 meters away from the Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station. It is conveniently located, enjoys a unique position, and is convenient for shopping and dining. It is one of the luxury hotels in Hong Kong and is listed in the annual reputation rankings.
The hotel is designed by internationally renowned designers and is situated in the heart of Victoria Harbour. The rooms feature panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and at night, you can see the charming night view of Victoria Harbour.
🍃 The hotel rooms are decorated in a British retro style, elegant and generous, with exquisite furniture. The beds are large and soft, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, the space is large, and it is clean and tidy. The toiletries smell good, and the facilities are high-end and advanced. There are many paintings and crafts in the rooms and public areas, filled with an artistic atmosphere.
😋 The breakfast is rich and varied, with high-quality coffee and desserts. The quality of the hotel's restaurant for lunch and dinner is very high. The Ritz-Carlton's afternoon tea is famous in Hong Kong and is also hard to book. The environment for afternoon tea is first-class, and the food is superb, worth experiencing.
💁♂️ The service is thoughtful and meticulous, check-in is quick, and various services are in place. The handwritten card from the butler is very heartwarming. Problems are solved quickly, and there is good care for children and the elderly.
🚗 The hotel's parking lot charges a fee, which seems to be common for many hotels in Hong Kong, but the swimming pool is free. The night view from the executive lounge is nice.
Right outside the hotel is the Avenue of Stars, and the sea view from the rooms is great, making for excellent photo opportunities. The Ritz-Carlton is as reassuring as ever.

Hong Kong Museum Of Arts
The Hong Kong Museum of Arts, located at No. 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, is the first public art museum in Hong Kong. It was established in 1962 and now custodian of an art collection of over 18,800 items by curating a wide world of contrasts from old to new, Chinese to Western, local to international etc.
It was closed since August 2015 and after major expansion and renovation in 2019, it was reopened for public.
A total of 7 floors with 6 floor exhibiting art pieces. Currently presenting Portrait Play, Shopping in Canton, In-between, City Rhymes (Melodious Notes of Calligraphy), Creative Chinese Characters, etc. Exhibitions are on temporary basis so it would be different next time when you visit again.
There are video show booking and barrier free facilities equipped. New innovations such as visual display board, assistive listening system, baby care room etc are installed.
Not enough time to read every details of the art pieces, but we did have a good time here and learnt the essences of some art pieces. We ended the visit by getting souvenirs exclusively for and only available in the Hong Kong Museum of Arts :) Souvenirs such as notebook and memopads are nicely designed and useful!

Modern Hotel
The design of the entire hotel includes modern and classic style. Whether it is the lobby, restaurant environment, or even the elevator, there are two chairs for guests to rest, which would feel very comfortable and elegant.
Worth to enjoy in this hotel.

nice food but bad service in Manor Club this time.
disappointed staff service and customer experience let me have an unforgettable birthday this year.
-cannot count my hotel expenses in k11 hk apps as the receptionist did not tell me that I need to input my membership no. when I check in and check out .
-wrong address on birthday card
-paid the extra fee for dry clean service but you don’t know when you can pick it up after checked out. longer waiting time and my lunch schedule was delayed
- “the staff make you trapped in the lift when you was going to have lunch with friend“as the staff did not give you the card access after checked out .my friend keeps waiting me in the restaurant.
That is true that I have pictures to prove it .
very horrible customer experience !!
hope they take it serious and solve their problems asap . To be honest, I am very worry about their customer services now .hope you would not be a next victim .#bad staycation

Bayfare Social - Nice Spanish cuisine included in Staycation Package
📍Bayfare Social, TST
It was the most amazing weekend I had at Rosewood in early April 💕 Food, service and room, everything is perfect!
The package included a staycation meal at select restaurants (Holt’s Cafe, Bayfare Social or The Legacy House). Both of us would like to have western food, so we chose to have it in Bayfare Social💕

▐ Rest & Reset at Rosewood▐
▐ Tuna Tartare▐
Flavoured with sour sauce sitting on avocado dices and sliced radish on top. Some dices were over-ripe and turned to brown. Apart from this the tuna was well marinated.
▐ Steak Tartare▐
Pairing with 2 toasts infused with flavour-boosting ingredients like green onion, mustard, anchovy and shredded Parmesan. The loaded cheese took it to the next level.
▐ Cod Fish▐
Crispy golden outside and flakey tender inside, it served in clam soup to put a healthy twist on a classic. The umami sweet taste of soup would push you to finish the whole pot😋
▐ Paella of the Day▐
It was a cod fish and squid paella on our visit. I think it was too moist for my liking but the rice was rich and flavourful.
▐ Vanilla Puff▐
Crispy and airy shell filled with vanilla cream in rich taste😋😋😋The cream was silky but not greasy.
▐ Red Velvet Cake▐
A simple layered-cream cake which promises an instagrammable photo.
🌐𝗔𝘁𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 :
Mentioned on their website, it is a buzzing tapas-inspired gastro market served with an array of Spanish feasts. It creates a cozy and relaxing dining ambience.
🤵♂️ 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 : Standard and fast
💰 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 : Having these Spanish feasts without any extra charges in hotel was good value for the money. I will deffo come back again for trying other dishes. Love Rosewood 💕

🌟Highlights:
The newest kid for the Rosewood Hong Kong, Bluhouse is the new mix concept of resto blending with casual dining and fine dining.
The elegant space is divided into various areas – the open kitchen chamber, the living room, the dining room – each with its own unique ambience and mood for a different experience.
Start with the octopus carpaccio, I love to have it with their house bread. Next, move on to the Mortadella Pizza, it came in rectangular slice and thicker base which was similar to focaccia.
The carbonara was an absolute delight. Rich & unctuous, with the nobbly Pecorino Romano cheese acting as a perfect foil to the creamy yolk and slippery, buttery sauce.
The roasted chicken must be the highlights of the meal! It was perfectly tender and juicy with a great crispy skin.
Finally, if you’ve still got space to sneak in a little dessert, classics take the spotlight here. Think tiramisu and the Assorted Mini Pastries Selection. You may also pick a cup of Venchi gelato from the booth set in the Bluhouse.

Rosewood Hong Kong Holt’s Cafe Dim Sum Afternoon Tea
Holt’s cafe is a tea house that serves Chinese Hong Kong style food. I would recommend to try this Dim Sum Afternoon Tea set that serves from 3pm to 4:30pm.
The set includes choice of one tea: Coconut Vodka White Peony, Premium Lion’s Peak Dragon Well, or Da Hong Pao. I tried all of them as this visit was a party of 3 ladies. I personally like the Coconut Vodka White Peony because this fusion is surprising unique and refreshing😘
The food is served in two rounds, first the savory: prawn+scallop dumbing with caviar on top, abalone, prawn pork siumai, baked wagyu beef pastry, Fried Prawn Toast, and Baked Char Siu Bao, They are all super delicious! My only complaint is the portion, as it’s an afternoon teaset they are all in bites.
Then, the sweets: Sweet Pumpkin Soup with Bird’s Nest, Black Sesame Roll
Food and atmosphere are lovely. Hospitality is okay, servers were a bit rushed (because of HK tea house style?), seats are cosy. Overall, a good experience.#消費券攻略 #foodie #消費券攻略 #rosewoodhk #dimsum #cafe

Rosewood Butterfly Room afternoon tea
It’s one of the most delicious afternoon teas that I have ever had. The sandwiches are refreshing and colorful. The most exacting part is the free flow of scones, chocolates, and desserts. Excellence choice for people with sweet teeth, but it is also extremely difficult to make reservations. Servers are knowledgeable and shows professional hospitality.

Amazing Italian restaurant in Rosewood
Rosewood New Restaurant Once. It's hard for booking. Especially the price of the channel is very attractive. Piece-packed pizzas start at $5x
Beautiful to such a decoration but such a price Money is unbelievable. In addition to pizza, I also tried handmade pastas. Surprised to be too full, no appetite for desserts. Desserts in the dessert cabinet are dazzling. Tiramisu is just right.Semi open-air restaurant with a laid-back feel

Rosewood Deluxe Harbour View Suite
This time I stayed at the Rosewood Deluxe Harbour View Suite and the moment I stepped into the room was already magical. Fortunately, I booked it for two days, otherwise it would be even more difficult to leave.
The arrangement of the housekeepers, the surprise specially prepared for the heroine, and the thoughtful service all made me feel very relieved. Everyone at Manor Club is also very professional and the service is in place. I would like to thank all the staff of the hotel for their service and hard work.

Pool view in Rosewood
Rosewood is known for its magnificent art collection and delightful cake shop at its entryway, but it also has a swimming pool. Start your day with a few laps in the pool or a sunrise view from Asaya, the hotel's 25-meter-long outdoor infinity pool. The pool, which is located on the sixth level, offers a flowing space with a tranquil, shining view of Victoria Harbour. This beautifully decorated pool is great for photos, whether for cherished memories or for Instagram.

Found inside the Rosewood, Henry stands out from the crowd with its luxe sophisticated interior and dedication to honouring Southern American cuisine.
At the helm of the American grill, smokehouse and butcher concept is Chef de Cuisine Nathan Green.
You can be expected to feast on a selection of dry-aged USDA prime steaks, Southern-style barbecue and much more, accompanied by six steak sauces, as well as a range of homemade ketchups and hot sauces.
My fav dish of the night were the Brandt Ranch tomahawk (1.9kg) and Bone in rib eye. Fatty and delicious with a robust beef flavour is defo a must try for meat-lovers in the city.
Recommendations:
- Butchers shop terrine $198
- Steak tartare $228
- Brandt ranch tomahawk $2358
- Bone in rib eye $1488
- Seven Pepper Beef Brisket, Snake River Farm BBQ Pork Belly, Andouille Sausage S/$248 L/$488

25 Years of New Year's Eve Fireworks in Hong Kong: A Hardcore Guide
Victoria Harbour's fireworks display is one of the most spectacular in the world. Find a comfortable spot to watch the dazzling fireworks and neon light show as you ring in the new year. It's a truly romantic experience. 🎆
Hong Kong's fireworks show is usually held three times a year, on National Day, Christmas, and New Year's Eve. The 2024 fireworks show set a record, lasting 12 minutes and spanning 1,300 meters. It was also very crowded with tourists. 😂 The 2025 New Year's Eve fireworks show is sure to be even more exciting. 👍
[Fireworks Show Location] Victoria Harbour, Central to Causeway Bay, Kowloon Island, and Hong Kong Island
[Viewing Spots]
1⃣️ Hotel Recommendations: If you're looking for a hotel with a great view of the fireworks, we recommend the Regent Hong Kong, Rosewood Hong Kong, K11, Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, and Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong. The W Hong Kong doesn't have a view of Victoria Harbour, and the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers is a bit low, so the view isn't as good. If you want to book a hotel, be sure to do so in advance, as prices will go up closer to the event.
Viewing Index: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Comfort Index: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
2⃣️ Coastal Plazas: Tsim Sha Tsui has a great view, but it gets very crowded around 6pm. The Golden Bauhinia Square is also very crowded. The Central waterfront is a bit off-center, so if you want to watch the fireworks from there, you'll need to get there early to get a good spot.
Viewing Index: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Comfort Index: ⭐️
3⃣️ Buy a ticket to the Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck for around HKD 570 per person. You'll get a bird's-eye view of the fireworks from 393 meters above the ground, and you'll also get to enjoy sparkling wine and snacks. If you want to watch the fireworks in comfort, this is the place to be!
Viewing Index: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Comfort Index: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
4⃣️ Take a Chinese-style junk boat ride in Victoria Harbour. The budget is usually HKD 888 per person. You can also take a Western-style yacht ride for HKD 960 per person. You'll get to enjoy the Victoria Harbour night view and countdown to 2025! This is a great option if you don't want to be in a crowded place. The 4-hour ride includes drinks, snacks, and a dessert.
Viewing Index: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Comfort Index: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
5⃣️ The Star Ferry Pier is a popular spot to watch the fireworks. The budget is HKD 338 per person. The view is great, and the price is student-friendly! The location is also convenient, with the Hong Kong Island skyscrapers as a backdrop. It's a great place to take photos and check in.

Trends come and go, but style is eternal. Rosewood Hong Kong.
As you enter the hotel, you are greeted by a pair of elegant gentlemen and noble ladies, solemnly walking towards you. This is a bronze sculpture by British sculptor Lynn Chadwick.
As you enter the hotel lobby, the Art Deco style elements are in full view, reminiscent of The Great Gatsby. As Tony Chi said, "Rosewood Hong Kong is a majestic mansion on Victoria Harbour, paying tribute to the founding family who built and operated the mansion, while passing on the culture left by the surrounding community and predecessors."
"Detail within detail." Even in the public areas of the hotel, you can feel the carefully crafted "detail within detail." Tony Chi, who is good at using mirrors for design, has made the most luxurious part of the hotel - the bathroom. With meticulous design, expensive materials, and perfect craftsmanship, it took eight years to create, all of which stem from a heartfelt presentation. Its accumulated power has not affected Rosewood's status as a shining pearl of Victoria Harbour.

The Rosewood is a great choice for a family vacation in Hong Kong!
My daughter said she wants to stay here again next time we visit Hong Kong! | The Rosewood opened in 2019 and was almost empty before the pandemic. There were a lot of people when we visited during the National Day holiday. We had breakfast on the 40th floor for the first two days and the experience was not as good on the 2nd floor on the last day.
Overall, the service was okay (the executive lounge buffet is available three times a day and is kid-friendly). At least we didn't have to go out to eat all the time. My daughter loved the spacious suite. They set up a tent and provided coloring books for kids.
The bedding was so comfortable! Especially the pillows! I wish I could buy the same ones. They were so comfortable that I want to throw away the pillows I have at home.
The hotel is located above K11 MUSEA. It's convenient to go shopping and it's nice to take a walk along Victoria Harbour.
