I had asked in advance if it was pet-friendly and if I could bring my dog by paying an extra cleaning fee, so I booked a suite with a terrace.
One of the reasons this place attracted me is the lush and beautiful lobby. It did not disappoint, with its rustic furniture and tree shadows creating a perfect space. There is a large platform in the outdoor public area, and you can go directly down to the river by following the steps. I took my little dog to wade in the water, and she was super happy.
The interior furnishings and window views of the room are actually quite ordinary due to the type of room (the rooms on our side are all mountain view rooms, which are blocked by other houses and don't have much scenery). The soaking pool is small and indoors. If you're looking for a view, I recommend the river view rooms, which have a better view from the windows. However, having a terrace is more convenient when you have pets.
Afternoon tea and meals can be had in the lobby. The coffee is average, the food is okay, with tasty home-cooked dishes at reasonable prices. There are other farm stays nearby, so you don't necessarily have to eat here. In the evening, we even ordered barbecue takeout (which had many good reviews but wasn't tasty, with a lot of fake meat). Breakfast is a mixed platter of Chinese and Western styles, and they also serve milk, black tea, and orange juice, which made for a great experience.
It rained during our stay, and the scent of grass and dew in the mountains was strong, with cool air. Sinking into a soft sofa, listening to the rain, occasionally flipping through a book or chatting, it felt like I could stay there all day.
It's about an hour and a half drive from Chengdu, and the road is not too difficult, with some winding mountain roads towards the end. For friends who don't want to travel too far on holidays, Qingcheng Mountain is really a great choice. Whether you want to hike or just find a homestay to lie down, it's very suitable for emptying your mind and relaxing. Whether it's sunny or rainy, it feels different.

I originally planned to go to Qingcheng Mountain during the May Day holiday, but I didn't want to be caught in the crowds, so I made plans with friends to come before May Day.
I randomly chose a homestay, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. The view from the window was especially beautiful, filled with greenery, and it felt like nature healed my soul. I also particularly liked this window!

This is still the charming city of Chengdu! A mere 1.5-hour journey from the city center brings you here! All the beautiful scenery you've heard of truly exists! The romance of Chengdu is endless and captivating!
By chance, I stumbled upon this window view of a forest and a small river... I decided to embark on another journey to Chengdu, to Mount Qingcheng! Deep within the winding mountain roads of the back of Mount Qingcheng, we discovered this place! The reality is even more stunning than words can express, with the glass house built beside a small river, lush trees, and a vista of verdant green... It's tranquil, elegant, and romantic... The beauty before our eyes surpasses any photograph by a hundredfold! It's so beautiful it's beyond words...
🍃We traversed through the emerald wilderness and gravel roads to reach the glass house. The interior of the house is adorned with a retro and bourgeois design, exuding a strong Republic of China era vibe; it features vintage wooden furniture, distressed murals, black and white old photos, and even the poetry of Xu Zhimo. Sitting quietly in the glass house with friends, sipping tea and chatting, with the sound of flowing water in our ears... The feeling of being in close contact with nature is simply amazing! I wish I could pause this wonderful moment!
🍃In the room, I captured the stunning window view that I've only seen in my dreams. It's even more beautiful than I could have imagined! After a short rest, we played by the river. The crystal-clear mountain spring water was incredibly refreshing!
🍃In the evening, we sat on the tatami, chatting and laughing with friends. When tired, we soaked in a hot bath amidst the wilderness. Life should indeed be this comfortable and enjoyable!
