Free Hot Spring in Singapore
#mysgmemories
Tucked in a secluded corner along Gambas Avenue, this is probably the only hot spring in Singapore. It is open to public and best of all it free no need money.
The area is quite small and the foot dipping seats are very limited. Foot bath is allowed, but on crowded days, you might not get more than 15 mins of soak time. So better get your own pail if you want. You can fill up with hot water sit around other area as there many seating available around.
Remember to bring a metal pot to cook hard boiled eggs. Note the water is 70°C. Need to cook minimally 30min for eggs to be hard boiled ohh also bring your own eggs. No one sell eggs here
There is a cafe just outside the hot spring area I don’t think it will be nice as I no see people insides. In Singapore no queue mean no good LOL
Note : there is no car access the nearest carpark is Yishun block 114

Hot Spring in Singapore
A little off the beaten track but still relatively easy to get to, just needed some walking.
You can bring your own portable, foldable bucket to collect the 60c Hot Spring water and sat at the resting area to soak your feet.
There is also a communal area where you can dip your legs in the shallow pool in the 40c water.
There is also an egg cooking station but you need to bring your own utensils and eggs and cook the eggs in the natural spring water.
There is a glasshouse cafe named Sembawang Eating House for some coffee abs toast and it operates from 8 am to 8 pm.
I would recommend a visit here in cool weather to enhance your enjoyment of this small unique place as it is the only hotspring in mainland Singapore.

Natural Hot Spring Footbath in Sembawang
#singapore
Located along Gambas Ave, Sembawang Hot Spring Park is the only natural Hot Spring which is accessible to the public. There is a Foot Bath pool and egg cooking station in the park. The foot bath pool had several pools, with the top pool at 70 degrees and lowest at 40 degrees. You can enjoy a foot bath and sit along the ledge of the lower pool. You can also bring your own eggs to the egg cooking station in the park to make your own soft boiled eggs. It's a great way to relax and enjoy with family and friends.

singapore own hotspring free of charge
Sembawang hotspring is embedded between yishun and sembawang, actually quite near chong Pang.
we have to walk a bit from the main road but it’s all child safe path. do bring along your own pails and bowls for soft boiled eggs if you want to avoid the crowd and have your own private corner. we even see people bringing foldable bath tubs to soak!
it takes a long time for the 70 degrees bath to cook the eggs. for a small pail with 2 eggs, we didn’t get the best soft boiled even after 30mins with 3 times water changed. perhaps a bigger pail and cover would help!
finally got a seat on the foot soak area labelled as 40 degrees. and it’s really not hot for that, just warm even kids love it

Outdoor Public Hot Spring in Singapore
Re-opened in 2020, Sembawang Hot Spring Park is the only natural hot spring open for public use. The hot spring park is along Gambas Ave, and is some walking distance from the nearest bus stop. The new park is home to a cascading pool, a main water collection point for the spring water, & lush greenery with some fruit trees in the park.
Opening daily from 7am to 7pm, anyone can just walk in with their own bucket and enjoy the Hot Spring Footbath. Weekends are usually more crowded with families and sometimes tour groups visit the park. Besides soaking their feet in the hot spring water, do bring your own eggs and container to try making your own onsen eggs.
Overall, it's a nice visit and experience.

Sembawang Hot Spring Park
Missing the free steaming hot public footbaths in Japan? Sembawang Hot Springs park is the only place in Singapore that provides hot water from underground. To make the place more attractive for visitors, it had undergone a major revamp. It has transformed from just a place with standpipes of hot running water to a park featuring a public footbath with some greenery to liven up the place.
The footbath, also known as the Cascading Pools, is the highlight, where visitors can let their tired feet take a dip into the hot water. As the pool is not very big, there may be some waiting time before your turn. Alternatively, you can bring your own pail and fill it with hot water for your feet to save the waiting time. You may use the taps by the side which also provide hot water to boil some eggs. You may also explore the mini garden trails especially the majestic banyan tree.
Do take note of the opening hours from 7am-7pm if you are making a trip there. Weekdays are typically better as it will less crowded than weekends.

Singapore’s one and only hot spring!
#exploresgtogether #attractions
Sembawang Hot Spring Park features cascading pools and a water collection point, and educational panels where visitors can learn about Singapore’s only hot spring park’s history and geology. The park boasts a rustic environment modelled after old kampungs, a welcoming difference from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.
There is a new Floral Walk where visitors can see fruit trees and edible plants commonly found in kampungs, included are also flowers commonly seen in the 1960s and 1990s. The rustic environment is further enhanced by unpaved paths and naturalised streams flowing from the hot spring, which mimics the freshwater swamp forest landscape.

enjoying hotspring in Singapore?
#exlporesgtogethertake a bus from the bus stop outside Yishun MRT station. After getting off the bus at the fourth stop, walk 800 meters to reach the secret entrance of Sembawang Hot Spring. After queuing for about 15 minutes, I entered this well-planned and well-built hot spring park. There are foot baths and faucets for taking hot spring water (divided into two types of faucets at 40°C and 70°C). You can bring your own bucket to collect hot spring water, and then sit in the shaded "compartment" to enjoy the hot spring alone. You can also "simmer" eggs with hot spring water. The park is well managed and the visitors are in order.
