Lost in the giant Sequoia forest 🌳
Introducing a lesser-known gem in #California that’s absolutely worth a visit! Sequoia National Park is home to the world’s largest tree, the Giant Sherman, and is located less than a 4-hour drive from major cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Here are some top tips to make your visit to this incredible park even more special:
🚗 Drive through Tunnel Log: Don’t miss the chance to snap a memorable picture of your car driving through the giant sequoia tree that fell over more than 100 years ago! (📍Crescent Meadow Rd, Sequoia National Park, CA 93262, United States)
🌲 Explore the Big Stump Trail: Take a stroll along this trail and learn about the park's history. It offers a unique perspective on nature preservation and is a great educational experience if you're traveling with kids. (📍The Big Stump Grove, Miramonte, California 93641, USA)
☘️ Grow your own sequoia: Many people don’t know this, but you can pick up a sequoia seed kit, complete with instructions, from the park’s souvenir shop. We’ve loved growing ours at home, and this special souvenir is a lasting reminder of our wonderful time in this beautiful park!

Went to the Sequoia National Park to see the world’s biggest three. It was almost 4 hour drive away from LA county Torrance and we left home around 4am. It was pretty long trip but I never regret!
There are multiple trails so I would recommend to try several trails if you arrive early morning.
And this park has different amazing view in summer and winter, so please please visit here at least twice a year.

Gazing at Giants: Sequoia National Park
Sequoia National Park, a sanctuary of nature's grandeur in the heart of California, is home to some of the oldest and largest trees on earth. My visit to this magnificent park was a humbling experience, walking among the giant sequoias, whose towering presence and ancient spirits spoke of resilience and beauty. The General Sherman Tree, the largest tree by volume in the world, was particularly awe-inspiring, reminding me of the sheer scale and majesty of the natural world.
The park's landscape is a diverse tapestry of deep canyons, rugged mountains, and serene meadows, offering a plethora of outdoor activities. Hiking trails, ranging from easy walks to challenging treks, wind through the heart of the sequoia groves and up to high alpine vistas. The Congress Trail, a leisurely loop that starts at the General Sherman Tree, provided an intimate look at the giant sequoias, with informative plaques detailing their ecology and history.
Beyond the giants, the park's elevation gradient supports a wide range of biodiversity and ecosystems, making it a haven for wildlife viewing. The Moro Rock trail, a short but steep climb, culminated in panoramic views of the Great Western Divide and the sprawling valley below, a reward well worth the effort.
Driving through the Tunnel Log, a fallen sequoia carved out to allow cars to pass, was a unique experience that highlighted the park's whimsical charm. Meanwhile, the Crystal Cave, accessible through guided tours, offered a glimpse into the park's underground wonders, with its formations and streams adding another layer to Sequoia's natural diversity.
For visitors planning a trip, it's essential to check road and trail conditions ahead of time, as weather can significantly impact accessibility. Staying within designated trails and areas helps preserve the delicate ecosystems and ensures the park's beauty remains intact for future generations.
Sequoia National Park is not just a destination; it's an invitation to connect with the earth's ancient past and to reflect on our place within it. It's a reminder of the enduring beauty and strength of the natural world, offering a respite for the soul amidst the giants of the forest.

A breathtaking natural sanctuary
#hiddengems
Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Sequoia National Park is a breathtaking natural sanctuary that captivates visitors with its majestic landscapes. Towering groves of ancient sequoia trees, including the renowned General Sherman Tree, create an awe-inspiring atmosphere.
During my visit with friends, the park's beauty left us speechless; its grandeur surpassed any description. Hiking trails led us through diverse terrain, from lush meadows to rugged peaks, providing a profound connection to nature. The park also boasts stunning vistas, including the panoramic overlooks of Moro Rock and the enchanting Crescent Meadow. As we explored, the serenity and magnitude of Sequoia National Park unfolded, leaving an indelible impression of awe and reverence for the natural wonders preserved within its boundaries.
In 2024, I want to visit Singapore.

Embracing the Spirit of Adventure: The Ultimate Road Trip Experience
I don’t fit the parameters of an ideal girl: I don’t make pies on an industrial scale, and the spirit of adventure is so deeply rooted in me that I can wake up in San Francisco in the morning, and by the evening decide to go somewhere to the ends of the earth and start to pack suitcases.
And how convenient it is when you can go on a convertible for ready-made pies, and then on a road trip!
I choose comfort in every detail. This is when everything seems to be the same as in other cars, but for some reason 10 hours behind the steering wheel fly by unnoticed. I rented it at @hollywood_rides and I can say for sure that this is the best decision in the last few months!
Do you like long road trips? Or do you still choose the plane?
