I was a little worried because it was China, but I saw police officers here and there, and the facilities were clean and honestly, it was a really satisfying airport. And for those transiting through Shanghai, I hope you watch out for people who say they will take you on a trip to China. There are groups that ask tourists to pay money for a trip to China while they are transiting, so please be careful because it can lead to dangerous situations.

VIP lounge Pudong Airport

First class lounge 170 is located in the satellite terminal of Shanghai Pudong Airport. There is very sleek architecture and furnishings with lovely staff that provide you with information, free wifi and showers. There is a great view from the windows and the whole lounge is very spacious and light. There is ample space to work and charge your electronic devices and it is open until late. Food and drink is provided along with information about departing flights

If you have yet to try using the airport lounge, i would highly recommend it as i got addicted to it even since my 1st try😅 This is the 1 i visited in Shanghai Pudong Airport, it is not big tough but they are offering comfy space for the visiter, meals, snacks, cakes has been served as well as some soft drinks and unlimited alcoholic beverages!! Tips: - do check with the staff if the lounge is far away from your departing platform to ensure that you wont miss put your flight (for ours, it takes 20 min walk + train from here). Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

#timetotravel good experience of Air China. They have 1-2-1 seats in their business class. But would not have too much entertainment content in their system. But service this time is good that they provide traditional Chinese cuisine. Also the seats is comfortable that have enough space to relax. And the crew is nice provide very good English service. They make great contributions than before.

Shanghai Pudong airport has started to reopen more international routes and terminal 2 handles the majority of those flights. The time to get through security and immigration (for me) was quite fast. Inside the terminal, there are a few outlets open with the duty free shopping area reopening recently. The boarding gates are very clearly located and they have announcements for the flights that are boarding. Swiss Int.Airlines flight Zurich to Shanghai🇨🇳

I used the 23 hours before flight check in to get rid of the luggage and get boarding passes (photo 2) ready so that on the departure day we could proceed directly to the gate. This service is very convenient and only offered in Zurich traveling by Swiss and Lufthansa group! The departure was a bit delayed but with only a flying time of 11 hours 40 minutes there was an early arrival at Pudong Airport. The plane was a Boieng 777-300 (photo 2) in a 4 class configuration of 8 First, 62 Business, 24 Economy Plus, 270 Economy seats. The air cution seats (photo 4) with softer and harder functions in Business have an extra safe three point safety belt and provide a big legroom and many stowing spaces. There is a pillow, a very light however warming blanket of a comfortable blanket and noise canceling headsets. If traveling with a baby under eight months you can order a baby basket for extra comfort but our son likes to sleep with the mother (photo 5)! The crew was caring about our baby and gave him a cute toy plane! (Photo 6) The lunch service started 30 minutes after with an aperitif mixed nuts and the beverage of your choice (photo 7) There are 2 different white wines and 3 reds. This time I chose the Swiss wines which were an excellent choice. Then there are 2 first course choices;vegetarian and fish (photo 8). The four main courses available were beef (photo 9), fish (photo 10), chicken and vegetarian. The meals are always created by famous Swiss top chefs! There is also some cheese with pear bread (photo 11)and last but not least a dessert which was a lemon coconut cake (photo 12). All in all a perfect dining experience. #bucketlistreboot This is the latest Business Class seat on Singapore Airlines A380. The flight was from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Singapore Changi Airport. Compared to the previous version of Business Class, the ambiance of the whole Business Class cabin is very pleasant thanks to its purple hue and elegant orange lighting which enhances the flying experience. The seat itself is spacious and if you can get the bulkhead seat, it can become a double bed. The crew was very professional and attentive. Kids were given the SQ bear without asking. Eastern Airline Lounge Experience at PVG

This is my first international travel since the last two years, this time I am flying to Macau. I take eastern airline and thanks to my Delta Diamond, I am eligible to enter the first class lounge. It feels so unreal when I walk through the empty airport, a lot of stores are closed. When I walked into the lounge, that familiar feeling comes from my deep mind, I took some pictures around and ordered noodle which is well recognized by frequent flyers, but I did not try the alcohol. Safe flight and reached Shanghai. Services are great. Custom officers are fast in clearing passengers. Although we have a long queue, but the human flow and traffic is fast and smooth. No delay and fast clearing. Facilities are basic at the airport. No restaurants spotted at arrival hall. Luggage is well managed and the luggage belt handles it well without spoilt the luggage wheels of luggage. Thank you

onboard business class of China Eastern Airbus 350. the plane is relatively new. seats are 1-2-1 configuration. food is good (not excellent) the chicken is palatable but the noodles seemed dry and hard. service onboard is acceptable but not warm. checking in is a breeze and boarding was orderly. the wine provided not great tasting.

First Time China Eastern Airline & VIP Louge #39

My trip back from Osaka was via Shanghai on CEA. It was my first time oboard and I must say I am willing to book more of it! First is that the service amazing! The food on board looks bland but somehow it was really delicious. I mean comparing to other economy, the level of service is different for each flight and I do like CEA. And Kudos to the Pilots and Captains for awesome flight during frequent turbulence and heavy storm during landing. It always make me extra anxious during more bumpier rides but their expertise for smoothen the rides so well than others. Kuddos! So during our transit, manage to use VIP lounge to freshen up and refill my tummy. Although the food variety may not be a lot but all tasted so good! Love the sweet sour chicken and brownies. There's space for families with kids and for solo too. The front desk staff was friendly and keep reminding us to stay alert of recommended departure time because I didn't know I had to travel via monorail to another section.
