I fell inlove the moment I saw it when I was searching for a place to get married in the Philippines. Shangrila has options for wedding packages so if you are going to tie the knot soon and you are in the planning stage already, you might want to consider Shangrila Mactan. Shangrila I guess has the best wedding location in my own opinion . They have the ocean pavillion as the selling point. We have the ocean wing wedding suite as well which is massive. The Cowrie Cove Seafood Bar & Grill of Shangri-La Mactan just reopened its door and just had a chance to try their seafood menu. We ordered the following that were highly recommended: Just Mussels tomato and lemongrass stew, mint leaves and dill verde sauce, fried capers, fera crumbs. Romaine & Charred Prawn Salad croutons, anchovies, parmesan, boiled egg, crispy prosciutto, cardini dressing. Burnt Octopus End salami picante, roasted mixed potatoes, miso caramel, chinichurru, smoked paprika oil, paraley and orange salad. Indeed, everything was delectable! Plus! Shangrila never disappoints. No doubt it is the best beach resort in Mactan. My mom and I stayed here and we had a wonderful time. The service is fast and the facilities are clean although the outlets require some update. The best part is the beach resort!

Additionally, food for the fish is sold next to the beach, and when you scatter the food, you are instantly surrounded by fish. Getting There - Travel time from the Mactan Cebu International Airport to Shangri-La Mactan is around 16 to 18 minutes via Manuel L. Quezon National Highway and Punta Engaño Road. Attractions - The clear pool, white sand, blue sky and ocean, the tall coconut trees are just some of the wonderful attractions in the area. Hotels - there are plenty of hotels nearby, yet the rooms in Shangri-La ranges from couple to group-size with higher value of course on rooms with nicer views, such as the one with sea view. Food & Restaurants - there are a few restaurants you can choose within the resort--Cowrie Cove, Breeze, Tides, Buko Bar, etc--wherein dining credits and/or free buffet breakfast may be part of what you paid for. Their food be it for breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner, for me, are all delicious.
