Behind the Shenpu Gorge

The Shenpu Gorge Scenic Area is characterized by overlapping peaks and rugged rocks. I can't imagine how joyful it would be to hike here in the summer!!! 🚗How to get there Navigation: Shenpu Gorge Self-driving: It only takes about 2 hours to reach from downtown Chengdu Parking: There are parking lots at both the front and back mountain gates 🔴Travel tips: 1️⃣Navigate to the front mountain gate of Shenpu Gorge by car, park, and then hike upwards for 1-2 hours. Along the way, you are surrounded by waterfalls and green trees, with fresh and pleasant air. You can stop to take photos and rest while hiking. 2️⃣After reaching Jiangjunping, there is a free azalea flower exhibition where you can take photos. From the top of the mountain, it looks like a heart shape, which is very artistic. 3️⃣At Jiangjunping, you can also check in at attractions like the glass bridge, glass slide, and jungle crossing. These activities require a fee to experience, and you can choose to play according to personal preference. 4️⃣Hiking upwards from Jiangjunping, you will pass through a wooden plank path and a small pine forest. A ten-minute hike will take you to a red maple forest, which is very photogenic. Continue upwards for about 5.6km to reach the peak of Tianyu, where you can admire the high mountain azaleas and view the sea of clouds. Along the way, you can pick wild bamboo shoots. Avoid the crowds this May Day! Discover a hidden gem of a waterfall forest that's off the beaten path yet stunningly beautiful

I can't believe I just found out about this place!! It's a lesser-known forest retreat where you can enjoy waterfalls🌊, hiking, playing in the water, jungle adventures, and breathe in the forest air🌳!! And the ticket is only 19.9! It's just over an hour's drive from Chengdu! Truly a treasure!👒 There are 2 ways to enjoy the scenic area: a leisurely tour (about 2 hours) or a hiking journey (about 5 hours). I chose the leisurely tour route, which took 2 hours in total, and it wasn't tiring at all. Plus, there are waterfalls along the way, with little surprises at any moment! I can't imagine how fun it would be to play in the water here in the summer!
