I don't know why it's called Shengjinta, probably because it's a pun! Its real name is Shengjinta, which is said to have been named after a discovery during its construction: a buried iron box containing four loops of a golden rope, three ancient swords (engraved with the characters 'Dispel Wind', 'Suppress Fire', and 'Subdue Jiao' respectively), and three hundred Buddhist relics. Shengjinta is thus named and is the only remaining high-rise ancient building in Nanchang. The scenic spot is not very big, and the tower is not very famous, but it plays a role in eternally guarding the city of Nanchang. The main activities include photographing the tower and climbing it to have a direct view of the thousand-mile road around Lushan Mountain and a downward view of the homes of tens of thousands of people within the city walls.
