🍽Dining recommendations:
We gave up the breakfast in the lounge and chose to eat downstairs. But you need to queue on weekends. The types of meals are not particularly many, but they are enough. There are special live porridge, you can choose ingredients for the chef to process.
In the afternoon, we sat in the lounge for a while, with small biscuits provided. There are not many people at night, the food is very rich, there are seven or eight kinds of hot dishes, as well as sushi soup and so on, the taste is also very good.

Service: The welcome staff were very friendly. They opened the car door and asked if we were dining or checking in, and offered to help with our luggage. The front desk staff were polite and friendly, and proactively gave us a list of benefits and introduced the hotel facilities and opening hours. As we arrived early, our original room was not yet ready, so they immediately helped us change to a room of the same type. They really care about the guest experience, which made us feel very welcome!
The room service was very fast, and they proactively turned down the bed, which was great.
Bathroom: The decor style is a bit dated. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view (see photo), but there are office buildings nearby, so be careful of your privacy. The guest and master bathrooms do not have smart toilets. The bathrobes are soft, and the disposable slippers are good quality. The shower has both a shower head and a rain shower, and the water pressure is stable. The toiletries are the classic Sheraton oak scent in large bottles. The bathtub was clean, and there was no dust or dirt when filled with water. The bath mat was laid out in advance, which was very thoughtful. The sink is a single basin, and the toothbrush is good quality and the right hardness. Mouthwash is provided.
Breakfast: You need to swipe your room card to enter. The staff proactively asked if we needed coffee or drinks. I didn't try the juice, so I can't comment on it. There is a wide variety of food, including freshly made rice rolls and congee, which were delicious. The hot food was also good. The pastries are in a separate area, but I didn't try them, so I can't comment on them. The bacon and breakfast sausages are high quality and don't taste like cheap frozen food. The staff were very quick to clear the plates and refill the food. They even refilled the food close to closing time, which was great.
Executive Lounge: You need to swipe your card to enter the separate floor. After the staff recognized us, they didn't ask us again when we entered a second time. The service was great. There is a wide variety of soft drinks, and TWG tea is provided. I didn't come during afternoon tea, so I can't comment on it. During the hot food period, there were 10 desserts, 8 fruits, 6 pastries, 10 hot dishes, 2 main courses, 2 soups, and a cold food and drinks area. The selection was amazing! The food was delicious! Is this really just a Sheraton?
Public areas: The gym (room card required) has all the basic equipment, which is well maintained, clean, and odor-free. There is a dedicated staff member to look after it. There is also an outdoor pool and tennis court (see photo).
This is the best Sheraton I've ever stayed at! It has no rivals in the same price range, and is even better than many higher-end hotels. This proves that there are hotels that can provide good service and management. Price and brand are not the only criteria for judging a hotel.

I stayed in a Premier King Room, which has a 2-meter king bed and is 46 square meters. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows are particularly praiseworthy, offering an extremely wide view and a beautiful sunset on the horizon 🌇.
The large bathtub in the bathroom is also a pleasant surprise, with large floor-to-ceiling windows. Imagine: soaking in the bath while enjoying the view of the city and drinking a little wine. What a pleasant and wonderful experience 😍.
💒 Executive Lounge
On the top floor of the building, the 33rd floor, there is another area with large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the cityscape in the direction of the Sports Center Stadium. The view is really amazing!
Soft drinks and cookies are available all day, and during the "buffet dinner" from 17:30 to 19:30, you can even enjoy red wine beef stew, baked prawns (thumb-sized), lamb, and other hearty dishes! There are also plenty of desserts and fruits! Awesome! 👍🏻👍🏻

The buffet restaurant is on the second floor, and there are so many people! All kinds of food are available! But I prefer the breakfast in the Executive Lounge. The Executive Lounge has almost everything the buffet restaurant has, just like a mini version of the buffet restaurant! And the environment is very quiet!

No. 208, Tianhe Road, adjacent to the subway station "Tiyu Xilu". This subway station is located inside the shopping mall, so you can go shopping as soon as you get off the subway.
Within a two-kilometer walk, there are Tianhuan Plaza, Zhengjia Plaza, Fashion Tianhe Shopping Plaza, Taikoo Hui, etc. You can shop at various brands in the shopping mall.
Living experience: Five stars
Soundproofing: It's quiet, needless to say!
View: Because the weather is cloudy, the "Slim Waist" should not be visible. Therefore, I chose this side with a wider view. You can see the stadium when you open the curtain, which is quite pleasant.
Cloudy and hazy, mobile phone shooting can't see the feeling, no filter, no beauty.
Service: There is a small service detail. Because I am a bit of a clean freak, but I still want to take a bath and sleep well after a day of running around. I contacted the front desk lady to ask if there are any disposable bathtub bags. When the lady informed me that there are none, she proactively mentioned that she could ask the staff to disinfect and wipe again. This service feels quite considerate.
Interior: Four stars
Herman's chair, it should be the simplest of the simple models. There is no support for the lower back of the chair, but this chair is better than the old-fashioned boss chair, and it is still very comfortable.

The room is on the 31st floor. It is not as large as the White Swan Hotel, but the twin beds are 1.5 meters wide. There is also a sofa and two short sofas. If necessary, you can also sleep on them.
The toiletries are generally large bottles. There is only one sink and no bidet (the difference with the White Swan Hotel is immediately apparent, but it is much cheaper).
Transportation is very convenient. The subway line 3 downstairs goes directly to the airport. The BRT is also downstairs. There are too many shopping malls and snack shops around, and you can't eat them all. It is also very convenient to rent a shared bicycle to see the Canton Tower.
The executive lounge breakfast is on the 2nd floor. I highly recommend the congee and the egg pancakes. Dinner is not long, but hot dishes will be served one after another. Paris water is also provided.
The gym is not large, but it is well-equipped. The swimming pool is on the 9th floor rooftop. It looks like it will be very nice in the summer.
The room stationery does not include scissors. I called 0 to borrow a pair of scissors. The waiter said that the child wanted to use it for handicrafts. The waiter who came said that you can wait at the door and take it away after you have finished using it. He was worried that it would be unsafe for children to use scissors. After getting off work on Friday, I drove to Sound Republic to watch DOUDOU's live performance. It was the first time I saw their offline performance since knowing them from 'The Big Band'. I can only describe it as warm and wild, haha. It happened to be Christmas Eve on the weekend, and the drop in temperature added to the festive atmosphere, but as a pure southerner, I really couldn't handle it.
The hotel's location is excellent, downstairs is Tianhe City, and you can see Tianhe Stadium from the room. You can quickly reach nearby major shopping areas and subway stations on foot. Of course, being close to the city center means traffic is very congested. Overall, it is very suitable for tourists.
The hotel has been around for a while, but it was renovated in 2022, so I didn't choose the Marriott across the street. The lobby feels a bit crowded, and besides the guests, there are probably many people coming for the buffet. The perks are a choice of three, and I chose breakfast. The taste and variety are good, making it one of the best hotels offering congee, haha. The small cakes in the executive lounge are also quite rich. Overall, it feels like an old hotel with very stable and thoughtful service.

Stayed at the Presidential Suite of Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel, approximately 260 square meters over two floors. The layout includes one bedroom and two living rooms. The room size is not particularly large, but the hollow design in the middle hall upon entering is very impressive, with a villa-style ceiling height. The Sheraton, which has been around for over 10 years, has maintained the Presidential Suite quite well. It still feels very new if you don't look closely, although the design is a bit old-fashioned, it is still adequate for now.
The first floor includes a main living room with a wide view directly facing the old Tianhe landmark CITIC and the sports center. The view is completely comparable to the view of the Canton Tower in Zhujiang New Town. The first floor is equipped with a dining room also facing CITIC, and a relatively private small living room (as shown in picture 8) on the right side of the entrance, behind the stairs leading to the second floor.
The entire second floor space belongs to the master bedroom, with an enormous master bathroom that is as large as an ordinary king-size bedroom. The domineering presidential bathtub offers you the most beautiful night view. It is also equipped with a sauna room (only dry steam).
Overall rating: 9/10
Looking forward to a new style if there is an opportunity for renovation.

At home, but my heart is still in Guangzhou
The long-awaited trip to Guangzhou was spontaneous. The first stop was Chimelong, and I had a lot of fun. This time, I chose to stay at the Chimelong Hotel mainly for convenience. The water park is just a short walk from the hotel, and playing in the water was especially enjoyable! The second stop was the Chimelong Circus. The circus 🎪 is right across from the Chimelong Hotel, just a 5-minute walk across the overpass. The circus performances were spectacular and captivating throughout, with each act seamlessly connected! The third stop was Tianhe District in Guangzhou, where I stayed at the Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel. Next to it is the Tee Mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. I had a meal at Tao Tao Ju and recommend the fried rice and shrimp dumplings! The fourth stop was Yongqing Fang, which has the flavor of old Xiguan. The entire street is lined with various snacks. The Enning ice cream 🍦 was delicious and generous in portion. I also tried desserts from the Canton Sugar Factory and Guangdong Nanxin sweet soup. I visited Bruce Lee's former residence... definitely worth a visit. The fifth stop was the Conrad Hotel in Tianhe District. The hotel room was upgraded for free, and the room was very spacious. It is very close to the Canton Tower. Next to the hotel is the IGC Tianhui Plaza, which has many dining options, including several Michelin-starred restaurants. Having morning tea at Guangzhou Restaurant was also convenient! The trip to Guangzhou, filled with good food, fun, and drinks, ended perfectly. Looking forward to the next trip to Guangzhou!

Decided to have an impromptu stay. I planned to stay in the Tianhe business district, which is convenient in terms of location and transportation. I was torn between the Sheraton and the Marriott, but finally chose the Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel, which was newly renovated in 2022.
⭐Features-
The design style of the newly opened/renovated Sheraton hotels in recent years is basically consistent, with a mix of retro tones and modern shapes, looking almost identical to the recently renovated Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel. I used a Platinum Card member's room upgrade voucher to upgrade to a small suite. The living room area is very large, with a low-key, unobtrusive light gray fabric sofa, maintaining the room's sense of spaciousness. Compared to placing the desk in the room, I really like placing it right behind the sofa. This setup allows for work and rest, and family members can stay in the same space without feeling separated.
The suite has three giant glass windows, each offering a different view. One glass window is next to the bathtub, and the other two have a single sofa placed by them. Guests can choose any view they like, sit on the sofa, read a book, watch a show, chat, or do nothing at all, just sit there.
☕Dining-
I specifically chose a time when there were fewer people to experience the executive lounge. The lounge, like the room, is new, and the high-altitude view enhances the appetite. The food quality is above standard, with a wide variety, and even the desserts and small bread are not perfunctory.
Speaking of food, I really want to praise the breakfast Hong Kong-style milk tea. Maybe I haven't stayed in enough hotels, but it's rare to have Hong Kong-style milk tea for breakfast. The Sheraton's Hong Kong-style milk tea uses Kam Fung Tea King as the base, with a rich tea aroma and a mellow taste, but it feels light after drinking, and even after two cups, there is no burden on the stomach. It is always kept warm in a heated pot, and when poured out, it is steaming hot. A beautiful morning is awakened in the misty milk fragrance. It would be even better if the sweetness could be adjusted by the guests themselves. The breakfast also includes rice rolls, shumai, sesame balls, pineapple buns, and congee, all of which taste good.

I attended university in Guangzhou. When I used to shop at the Tianhe City Mall and Grandview Mall, I always looked at the Sheraton and Marriott with admiration, thinking that I would work hard and earn money, and one day I would stay at these two hotels and look at the world from 'above' on Tiyu West Road. This weekend, I decided not to travel far and enjoy some leisure time at the Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel located in the bustling area of Tianhe District city center. The hotel boasts an excellent location, surrounded by major shopping malls such as Taikoo Hui, Zhengjia, Tianhe City, and Tianhe Plaza, and is just a few steps away from the Tiyu Xilu Metro Station on Line 3, making it extremely convenient for travel and shopping!
Stepping into the luxurious rooms, the spacious and comfortable space is truly pleasing to both body and mind. Lying on the bed, one can overlook the beautiful cityscape, which is utterly refreshing.
However, what really captivates me is the hotel's fitness center and the outdoor constant temperature swimming pool! The fitness center is fully equipped with a complete set of Life Fitness equipment, allowing me to fully unleash my energy for exercise. The hotel's swimming pool is even more unique, being a rare outdoor vacation pool in the city center, maintaining a constant temperature of 28 degrees all year round and offering a panoramic view of the central axis.
Staying at a hotel means enjoying a buffet! I went to the Feast Buffet Restaurant on the 2nd floor to experience the taste of life, and this time the crayfish theme was truly satisfying! The ingredients were very rich, and I was so full I could barely walk!
Having visited N times, the Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel still impresses me, making it an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure vacations!

| Guangzhou Yuehai Sheraton! The first stop of the Marriott Q4 promotion was placed at Yuehai Sheraton, taking the opportunity to come to Guangzhou to see the Westlife concert. I used a suite voucher in advance to lock in a luxurious suite of 110 square meters.
The hotel, although renovated in recent years, has maintained the old cadre style of Sheraton. The 110 square meter room is really big, with a layout of one bedroom, one living room, one study, and two bathrooms. The room has a view of the Tianhe Sports Center. My favorite part is the independent study with Herman Miller chairs, which are very comfortable. There are two of them, and if it's a business trip, working here should be very pleasant. The bedroom has a 270-degree panoramic window, but the curtains are not electric, which makes them a bit troublesome to close. The bathroom has double sinks, which is very convenient for two people to use.
The hotel is conveniently located, with the largest shopping mall in Guangdong and a subway station right downstairs, and it's only 2-3km from the East Station. The occupancy rate is also very high.
Because I went to the concert and wanted to try Bing Sheng's taste and the pigeon meal, I didn't try the hotel's lounge and breakfast, which are claimed to be the benchmarks of Guangzhou. As a result, Bing Sheng's taste was a letdown, too greasy overall. The pigeon meal was not bad. In the end, I was blown away by Westlife's singing skills
