Staying at the Sheraton Ninghai Hotel brought me an unexpected surprise.

It is a place rich in history and culture, where mountains and rivers blend with the city. By the sea and in the mountains, there is a desire to grow upwards, to wander along the coast and feel the sea breeze, to stroll through the valleys and listen to the mountain winds sing, and to experience the quiet simplicity of wonderful times.

Sheraton Ninghai by Tianming Lake perfectly embodies the charm of "humanity and mountain scenery," recreating the idyllic landscape of a peach blossom land. Surrounded by water on all sides, the hotel is dotted with several islands in the lake, separated from the surrounding environment by small water systems, making it a place that is both close to the bustling city and hidden in nature.

From the moment you enter, you are greeted with a sense of homecoming, with a garden tour and green pines leading the way, creating a new look for the front courtyard of an oriental garden. The central water island in front of the entrance, with its green pine pool, acts like a large mirror, highlighting the hotel's entrance and adding depth to the building.
The landscape stones are interspersed among the square pond water features, and as you walk along the path, you can see the cascading water flowing quietly, the green forest and stones speaking, and the distant mountains overlapping, creating a picture of a peach blossom land with oriental charm and classical aesthetics.

Outside the hotel lobby, near the lakeside park, there is a large terrace, which is perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the breeze and the view on a nice day. Following the public area terrace down, you can see several independent villas scattered throughout the hotel public area, which are the hotel's three-bedroom and four-bedroom villa types. Further out is Tianming Lake Park, where you can see the hotel's public area gardens seamlessly connecting with Tianming Lake, as if the entire park is part of the hotel public area.

In addition to the fountain area in front of the lobby, another great photo spot in the hotel is the spiral staircase next to the Caiyue Pavilion on the first floor, which is a must-visit for many newlyweds who hold their weddings at the hotel!

Sheraton Ninghai is located in the business district of Ninghai County, next to Tianming Lake, 2 km from Ninghai High-speed Railway Station. It takes only 30 minutes to reach Ninghai Station from Ningbo by high-speed train, and then you can take a taxi to the hotel at the starting price.
The first impression of the hotel is that it covers a large area, with low floors but long corridors, more like a resort hotel, and a few expensive black pines at the entrance add a touch of artistic conception. The exterior design of the hotel is designed by gad architecture, which has designed many Banyan Tree hotels in China.
As soon as you walk into the door, you can feel the aesthetic progress of the new hotel.

The hotel lobby is positioned as an "open shared space", full of vitality and a sense of belonging, with a large number of open spaces for guests to socialize or be alone. The design draws on the natural landscape and historical context of Jiangnan, and skillfully translates it into space design through different materials and artistic forms, integrating traditional culture with local culture, reconstructing classics, and creating a connection with Ninghai's local culture.
This time I stayed in an executive lake view room on the 8th floor, the highest floor of the hotel.
The decoration in the corridor, which is a bit like a gate, also comes from the elements of the ancient town of Qiántóng.
The guest room structure is very square, and the light wood tone room creates a warm and elegant home feeling. As soon as you enter the door, there is a wardrobe and luggage rack on the left, and a bathroom on the right, with a balcony facing Tianming Lake. The interior of the guest room adopts leather and saddle buckle elements, which represent the hotel as a post station on the journey, and also echo the design concept of the whole hotel with "travel notes". The bathroom and living room are separated by sliding doors, which are also commonly used in many hotels now, and the new Chinese-style cabinet next to the washbasin is quite distinctive.
The breakfast is in line with the Sheraton brand standard in terms of quantity and quality, but I personally feel that it lacks some local Ninghai specialties, such as wheat cakes and Qiántóng Sanbao, and I look forward to continuous improvement.

The level of this Sheraton is really underrated
The first impression after staying here is that it is a high-end Sheraton. From design to materials to service, everything is very solid. It could easily be rated as a JW.
✅ The design is very CCD, giving a grand manor house feel. The basic room type starts at 50 square meters, showing luxury and spaciousness. I particularly appreciate CCD's aesthetic in color matching. This Ninghai Sheraton is no exception, with a mix of natural wood, light orange, and ash gray, creating a pleasant and elegant atmosphere. The blend of business and vacation vibes is just right, very comfortable~
✅ The spiral staircase in the public area is indeed as photogenic as rumored, with a particularly good texture. During my stay, I saw many guests taking photos here, and the pictures turned out great. Especially at night, the gentle light and shadow on the stairs add a special touch, similar to the famous spiral staircase at Conrad Osaka.
✅ The outdoor garden public area is really planned like a resort hotel, with aesthetic greenery. At dusk, leaning on the terrace to enjoy the sunset sweeps away the busy and anxious feeling brought by the city~
✅ The food variety at the all-day dining restaurant is quite good, but what surprised me more was the offering at Caiyuexuan Chinese Restaurant! Combining different seasonal ingredients, it perfectly blends Cantonese and local cuisine, with a very impressive taste.
✅ Traveling also can't be without fitness. The fitness area at Ninghai Sheraton is a place I am very satisfied with. The gym equipment is complete, the pool water quality is excellent, and the area is large enough to fully meet the needs of swimming.

Checked in as a junior member and got upgraded to a suite! The suite has 3 balconies (1 in the living room, 2 in the bedroom) with an outdoor view of Tianming Lake Park, which is quite scenic. The room is very new, with a retro yet modern overall decoration style, and a strong sense of design, probably designed by a major firm

The bathroom is super large, with two sinks on either side of the door! It also comes with an electric toilet (full-featured with bidet function), a large bathtub equipped with bath salts, a shower with strong water flow and stable temperature, and I really like the scent of the toiletries 😍

The mattress is moderately firm and very comfortable, the pillows and duvet are new and skin-friendly, the air conditioning is quiet, and the constant temperature and humidity are well maintained! However, the bathroom door is semi-transparent, letting in some light in the morning, which is not so friendly for those sensitive to light! Just a minor flaw

The staff who handled the check-in were smiling throughout and gave a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities. There's a dedicated person to make coffee and show you to your seat at breakfast, which many Marriott hotels can't manage on weekends

The hotel is located next to the new Ming Lake Park in Ninghai, and the park is connected to the hotel, with a gate that you can swipe to enter. The hotel is more like a resort, with no commercial facilities nearby, suitable for driving there.

Just came back from a trip to Ninghai, and I stayed at the Sheraton Ninghai Hotel. The hotel just opened in 2023, so all the facilities are quite new. The rooms are well-equipped with an electric toilet and smart controls for the lights and curtains. It's very convenient for guests to stroll to Tianming Lake Park right in front of the hotel. The hotel's Chinese restaurant, 'Cai Yue Xuan', offers excellent food, and the breakfast buffet has a wide variety as well.

The Sheraton brand is not considered a luxury brand within the Marriott group, but this hotel in Ninghai has the style of Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis in terms of design/materials/service. The design firm is the Hong Kong-based CCD, which is the go-to design firm for Ritz-Carlton. The design is very exquisite, with an overall dark brown tone, and the combination of solid wood and metal, giving the hotel an extra sense of quality!
What makes the hotel unique is that it has seven villas, which is also rare in the hotel industry.
Rooms: Stay in a lake view king room, push the window open and you can see Yue Ming Lake, which is said to be an artificial lake dug to match the hotel's landscape, how impressive is that!
Service: Greeted upon check-in, and entering the room there is a handwritten welcome card from the hotel, which shows great care, and the service level far exceeds other hotels. Having enjoyed the hardware and service of a top luxury hotel, it's no problem to say it's the top luxury in Ninghai!

This time, I stayed in an Executive Lake View Suite. The room is very spacious, decorated with wood colors matched with brass, creating a low-key yet luxurious echo. The living room and bedroom both have large balconies, allowing you to see the lake view and hotel garden landscape without leaving the room, instantly filling you with a holiday vibe. The bathroom and bathtub are also exceptionally outstanding
The hotel lobby has a coffee bar & afternoon tea. Passing through the lobby bar, there is a large outdoor terrace. On the lower first floor, there is an indoor oversized swimming pool and a 24-hour gym. The swimming pool is much larger than those in other hotels and also has a hot spring pool. There are meeting rooms and various types of restaurants available
Whether it's a weekend family trip or a couple's getaway, I highly recommend this hotel as a great choice. The hotel also has 7 villa room types, suitable for any group with different travel needs

After a recent trip back to my hometown in Sanmen, I found out that taking a taxi from Sanmen to Qiantong in Ninghai is only a few dozen yuan, so I took the opportunity to have a two-day tour of Ninghai.🚗

The Ninghai Chapter of Staying in a Hotel with my Boyfriend! It's so good to stay
I heard that this is a low-end version of Ritz, the whole hotel is indeed very luxurious.
I'm unemployed and have nothing to do, so I specially went to check in at the Ninghai Sheraton. It takes about three hours to drive from Shanghai to the hotel, and it's just a short distance from the highway exit.
🌴Environment: The lobby is very atmospheric, and there are many corresponding decorations for Christmas. The outdoor garden-like environment is even more beautiful~
🛏️Guest Room: Very satisfied, 🚽 is a smart toilet, you can see the lake view on the balcony, very beautiful. The only drawback is that the wooden floor of the balcony will creak when walking...
🍹Lounge: The coffee is very good, better than breakfast. The happy hour dishes are very hard, the day I went there were braised pork knuckles, potato chicken pieces, meat pie steamed eggs~ The cheese cake is also good. The environment is also good, not many people.

Overall it's pretty good, but it's a bit far from Shanghai. It's better to play with Ningbo.
But the flowers in the lobby are actually fake, this is a bit low. The front desk upgraded the suite without asking in advance, which is very generous. But the executive lounge is really bad, there are two main courses in the four dishes, fried rice and fried noodles, and there are steamed buns with meat, there are almost no hard dishes, and there are only two kinds of desserts and they are hard to eat... The fruits are all very ordinary apples and oranges. The breakfast is also average, although everything is there but the taste is not good, not as good as Taizhou Sheraton. But the Chinese restaurant downstairs is very amazing, if you don't want to go out to eat, it's very worth ordering downstairs.
