The soundproofing is excellent, and the service is great and responsive. The only downside is that takeout can't be delivered upstairs; you have to pick it up yourself at the door. Our stay at Sheraton Qiandao Lake Resort was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hotel impressed us with an upgrade to a 16th floor suite—offering the best lake view we’ve ever had. The pool bar was a highlight, with great music, tasty snacks, proper food, refreshing drinks, and even draught beer on tap. The swimming pool itself is huge, and in the evening the dinner buffet right by the pool created such a relaxing and special atmosphere. The 5-hour drive from Shanghai was absolutely worth it, especially with the stunning scenery along the way. Breakfast was included, generous and delicious, making mornings as enjoyable as evenings. Everything here—from the views, the service, the poolside vibe, to the food and drinks—made us wish we could stay longer. This is the kind of place I would come back to every chance I get.
