Siming Lake's dawn redwoods are at their best viewing period. Every year the scenery is different. Last year, the water level was high, so the trees were really in the water. This year, the water level is low, so everyone can walk down into the forest. Both forest and waterside photos are absolutely stunning~ Don't miss the Dawn Redwood Coffee ☕️ at Sanye, near the dawn redwood forest. ➡️ Sanye Tea Cafe is halfway up the mountain, accessible by car 🚗, and offers a perfect panoramic view of the entire dawn redwood forest. I've photographed quite a few dawn redwood forests, including those at Shijing Reservoir, Siming Lake, Ganling Reservoir, Gutan Reservoir, Zhengqiao Reservoir, Zhimaling, Tianquan Lake, and many more.
