🚡 Flying my way into Mount Faber
#cablecars #100WaysOfTravel
Today I took the cable car to go to Mount Faber to check out the exhibit and for a drink. It was a public holiday and I went to Harbourfront to take the cable car. It was really crowded and there was a long queue to take the cable car. This is the Mount Faber cable car line and you can buy tickets online or at the ticket office. Each cable car can seat about 8 adults and take about 25 to 30 minutes. It was fun and exciting and I had to take a few times to enjoy the scenery along the way.

the cable way that links harbourfront station to mount Faber to sentosa! definitely a great way to visit sentosa island or mount faber for hikes. took this way to sentosa and it oversees the telok blangah/keppel bay sea area which is the south of singapore. very scenic but not suitable for those who fear of heights as some of the cable car has crystal clear base.
it has hillview of rainforest from afar as well. good way to have a bird eye view and stunning landscape of singapore. the ride is less than 20min. with Covid restriction they tend to put you with your family and friends and not squeeze you with strangers. :)
average cost: s$28 round trip

🎟 There are many ways to get to Sentosa Island. There are buses and Sentosa Express trains. But today, I will share my experience taking the cable car.
🎟 It is very easy to get there. Just take the MRT to the Vivio City building and get off at Harbor Front station. When you find the exit, follow the signs to the cable car. It is very easy to get there because there are signs all the way.
🎟 When you reach the building, press the elevator to go up to the top floor. I can't remember which floor it is. 😅 But don't worry, there are signs in the elevator. When you arrive, go to the line, show your ticket, and wait for the cable car to come. Then you can get on. Be careful because it doesn't stop completely. But it will slow down slowly so you can step up.
🎟 The first time I left the station, I must say that I was dizzy because it was so high. But once I adjusted, it was comfortable. The view was very beautiful. You could see the entire mouth of Singapore Bay and Sentosa Island in an overview. If you look closely, you will see dolphins in the pool of the SEA Museum! So exciting!
🎟 The ticket price is about 800 baht, but you can get on a round trip. Plus, we can take it to every station, including the beach station where we can take the cable car to get off and walk down to play on the beach. It's really worth it. Or if you don't get off at the beach, just take the ride to see the view around. It's really worth it.
🎟 For anyone visiting Sentosa Island, I recommend the cable car as another way to travel. It's really worth it, don't miss it!!

Scenic city views onboard a Cable Car
I love taking cable car rides to Sentosa or Mount Faber as I get to enjoy the scenic views of the harbour, cityscape near Vivo City and Sentosa Island. Also, views of the azure blue skies with white fluffy clouds makes me feel a sense of tranquility. At night, you can enjoy the colourful lights from buildings and spot the lited up ships.
It is great for dates as you can to enjoy each other’s company while traveling on the cable car and explore Sentosa Island or Mount Faber together. Moreover, it is also a convenient mode of travel as you can visit different parts of Sentosa Island and top of Mount Faber which is less convenient to get there by public transport.
How to get there - Walk from HarbourFront MRT station to Harbourfront Tower 2. Board the cable car at Harbourfront station and choose to take the cable car on Sentosa Line or Mount Faber Line. 🚡

Scenic Flight to Sentosa
Getting there - We drove and have the valet to take care of our car.
Address - 109 Mount Faber Road (Mount Faber Peak)
Highlights - iconic one and only cable car🚡
Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We used our final SRV and got a package to take the cable car for a scenic view of the HarbourFront and Keppel area but not forgetting our Sentosa island. The last time we took the cable car was probably 20-30 years ago.
Had our breakfast at Arbora which is just a few steps beside the cable car station. It was a clear morning and we were blessed with a great view.
The queue moved quite fast and we are on board the cable car flight in just 10 over minutes. Glad that we have the cabin all to ourselves.✌🏻Was taking lots of pictures like an excited child as my parents reminisce those times they brought us here ages ago.
The round trip package includes the Sentosa line too so we transfer to the other line which is just 5 mins walk from the Sentosa station. Saw Rasa Sentosa when we “fly” towards Siloso Point station. And I promised my folks that I will bring them there for staycation when Trip.com launch a super special promotion for Rasa Sentosa. 😁
Thanks to the package offered by Trip.com and my folks enjoyed the whole morning tremendously.

Riding in the skies with Singapore Cable Car
#dateideas
Take your relationship into the skies with a ride on the Singapore Cable Car. It consists of 2 lines: Mount Faber Line and Sentosa Line. Mount Faber brings visitors from Sentosa all the way up to Mount Faber, while Sentosa Line brings visitors within Sentosa only.
Highly recommended to take both lines to experience different types of bird eye views; Sentosa provides the beach views, while Mount Faber provides views above Resorts World Sentosa, Keppel and Harbourfront area. But if there are time constraints, the Mount Faber line will be a better option, as there are more things to see. This line is also more popular as evident from the much longer queues. The cable car itself is very secure, and there are small windows to allow some fresh air in so that you will not feel too closed up.
Do go in the evening or night, as you can catch the sunset weather permitting, the transition from day to night, or the glittering and colourful night lights depending on the time of visit.
They have the option of fine dining in the cable car itself; great for a private Valentine date experience like no other in the air. Alternatively, Arbora or the Dusk on Mount Faber are alternative dining options after alighting from the cable car overlooking great views as well.

Romantic Dinner With A View!
Used my remaining SRV to book a double date with my Girlfriend and my parents! We arrived 10 minutes before our boarding time and were shown to our cabin promptly! The table was nicely laid out and we got to savour a delectable combination of Singapore's authentic flavours and western delights with a bento freshly prepared that was served to is in our own private cable car cabin while admiring the panoramic views. The food was fresh and tasty just like a restaurant standard meal!
The dinner lasted approximately 60 minutes, which brought us around twice! I suggest coming for the 630 slot to get some EPIC golden hour photos! I'll definitely come back again.

If you are looking for a place to relax while enjoying the views, the cable car would be one of the activities that you should do!
With the different views through out the day and the wind blowing gently while you are in the cable car, it gives you a sense of relaxation.
If you looking for a place to hike, I would also recommend that you can be able to hike up to the Mount Faber station that takes around 30 minutes, likewise you can hike down as well to visit the different hiking point to spend your day!

Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass
Brough my entire family 👪 which includes youngest of 4 and the wisest of 65 for a cable car trip with our SingapoRediscovers Voucher! It's a family friendly hiking experience up to the faber peak with 95.5% of the trip by car and 0.5% to walk from nearest car park to the cable car station. The best part is that parking is free everyday.
The ticket we bought include a round trip for both faber line and sentosa. We planned ahead and took both type of cable car. It's a truly family friendly activity that I would highly recommend for families with young and the young at heart. Apart from that, there are also plenty of 12 recommended things to do on Mount Faber recommended by faber group for those keen to explore.😉

Enjoyed the ride at cable car with the bird’s eye view of Singapore. According to the history, it was the first aerial ropeway system in the world to span a harbor. Also it’s one on my bucket lists to ride on a cable car and I really enjoyed the view. #tripaway

An awesome visit to singapore cable car 🚠
#singaporetrip
Unlock the Singapore Cable Car and get on the Singapore Cable Car. It's very good and worth experiencing.
I think there are three biggest attractions:
1. The beautiful scenery outside the cable car window, you can see not only the city scenery, but also the ocean scenery, as well as the ships and docks of the Strait of Malacca.
Two. The cable car takes a long time and is relatively addictive. The round trip to the Sentosa Line takes about 20 minutes, and the Huabai Mountain Line takes about 30 minutes.
3. The cable car is near Sentosa. You can take the cable car and play in Sentosa.
The cable car has two lines. The two lines are not completely independent. There is a stop at the intersectior
Route 1: Sentosa Line, three stops in total, about 20 minutes round trip
Merlion (Merlion Station)
Imbiah Lookout (Imbiah Mountain Top Scenic
Area Station)
Siloso Point (Siloso Scenic Area Station)
Route 2: Huabaishan Line, three stops in total, about 30 minutes round trip
Mount Faber (Huabaishan Station)
Harbourfront (Harbor Station)
(Sentosa Station)
The two stations intersect at the Peak Scenic Area Station and Sentosa Station in England and Australia. It's better to transfer and walk
About 3 minutes.
You can get on at any station. It's very convenient to go to any station, because the cable car is
It is circular.

A Journey Above the Clouds: The Dreamlike Experience of Singapore Cable Car
In the early morning breeze, carrying a hint of the salty sea air, I arrived at the Singapore cable car station, ready to embark on an aerial journey. As the cable car slowly ascended, the scenery before my eyes transformed instantly, from the bustling city to the lush Sentosa Island, everything stretched out beneath my feet like delicate brushstrokes on a canvas.
The cable car glided through the air, with the distant coastline and the magnificent sky complementing each other, sunlight shimmering on the blue sea. Standing inside the cable car, my view opened up, as if entering another world. The beaches of Sentosa, the towers of Resorts World, all seemed so small, while Singapore's unique urban landscape embraced me. Whether it was the Marina Bay Sands hotel or the iconic Ferris wheel, everything appeared more radiant under the sunset.
This cable car journey allowed me to overlook the entirety of the city from above, and also made me appreciate the harmonious blend of modernity and nature in Singapore.

👍 Highly recommended:
This is a must-try attraction, with the best time being from 6:30 to 7:30, to catch the sunset. You can communicate with the staff to arrange for you and your friends to ride in the same car. However, the route on Sentosa Island is not very long, so make sure to take photos in time 🤳
