There are only a few Sofitel Legend hotels around the world (Xi'an, China; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Aswan, Egypt; Hanoi, Vietnam; Santa Clara, Colombia), and the Grape Group has its own standards for selecting locations for these legendary hotels, which are said to be buildings with a history of over 50 years. The Sofitel Legend in Xi'an is a garden-style building complex, and taking a walk inside at night is quite romantic. The front building is the Sofitel Hotel, with two side buildings housing a grand theater and a Chinese restaurant, and in the middle is the main building, the legendary hotel, followed by the luxurious Mercure at the rear. On the west side of the entire complex is the provincial government, and then it's a 10-minute walk to the Bell Tower on East Street.
