Sorrento City Center: A Place with Many Attractions and Activities
Sorrento city center, with its many attractions and activities, is situated on a cliff, so you need to drive up to reach it. This means that every view from the city center overlooks the sea and is simply beautiful. One of the landmarks of Sorrento is a spot where houses and roads are nestled between two cliffs. This place is a popular photo spot where all tourists make sure to take a picture. After capturing your perfect shot, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around, making it a great place to enjoy lunch.

Southern European Island
Lazy Southern European Summer Tour | Amalfi Coast of Italy
The south of Italy has a distinctly different Italian style compared to other regions. The sunshine, air, culture, seascapes, and streets easily touch your soft spot, making you fall in love to the point of no return.
The Amalfi Coast is a paradise in southern Italy blessed by the goddess, with scenery so beautiful it brings tears to your eyes! It is known as 'The Path of the Gods.' The Amalfi Coast is one of the 50 most beautiful places in the world and, along with the Greek islands, is hailed as a 'heaven on earth.'
Along the 50-kilometer coastline, there are 08 colorful small towns of various sizes, each so beautiful it seems surreal.
On the sunny Amalfi Coast, everything is as vibrant as blooming flowers, and just standing on the balcony looking at the sea can indulge someone for an entire day. No matter how downcast you are, you can find the courage to believe again, just like the protagonist in 'Under the Tuscan Sun.'
During the peak of summer, Amalfi is synonymous with romance. Driving on the winding mountain roads, you will not only enjoy the colorful towns but also smell the lemon scent that fills the entire city.
The town of Sorrento, located at the western gateway to the Amalfi Coast, is also known as the Lemon Town, with many lemon orchards in the town. Here you can order a bowl of lemon ice cream or a glass of limoncello. Of course, there are also various lemon tours.
With only about 16,000 residents, the town hosts an average of 500 weddings each year. Almost every day, wedding boats complete their ceremonies in this town.

Italian Positano, where mermaids reside in the sea. Travel guide and itinerary.
On Easter day, the weather forecast said it would rain, but it turned out to be sunny. How lucky! When the sun was out, it instantly felt like summer. The lemons on the roadside haven't fully bloomed yet, so I could only take pictures of the ones on the tree in scattered shops.
If you don't eat or swim 🏊♀️, you can explore the small town in two hours. You just need to keep climbing stairs, which can be a bit tiring since it's all mountain roads.
Here are some transportation tips.
I took the L21 to Sorrento from Naples train station (buy tickets at the manual window at the end of the underground floor of the station, next to the entrance, ask staff if unsure, timetable can be viewed on Google Maps).
Then, as soon as you come out of the Sorrento train station, you can see the bus stop for Positano, because the bus will be parked there or many people will be queuing there.
There are ticket booths at both ends of the train station.
I don't know if Easter in southern Italy counts as peak season, but I queued up early in the morning at around 8 o'clock and didn't get on the bus until after 9 o'clock! So make sure to arrive at the site earlier than your estimated departure time to queue up. There are really a lot of people and the bus is not big enough. If you go up later, you will have to stand the whole way, which will be very painful for people who get carsick. The driver's driving is also very dizzying (the European girl next to me vomited all the way...
For the return trip, you can buy the bus ticket at the stores marked with "sta", or pay online after boarding the bus.
If you want to stay longer in Southern Italy, you can live in Sorrento. This small town is also very beautiful and chill. I love Southern Italy and I want to stay here for a while in the future.

Italian Positano town, a colorful cliff town in a dream, nanny-level travel guide.
Positano is a small town located on the Costiera Amalfitana coast in the Campania region of Italy. The main part of the town is backed by mountains and faces the sea, and is distributed on the flat land between the mountains and the sea.
A writer described it as follows: Positano is a dreamland. When you are there, it doesn't feel very real, but after you leave, it becomes vivid. Scattered along the winding and twisting coastline are many picturesque towns, and the most beautiful one among them is Positano.
A small house slowly climbs up the mountainside from the seaside, painted in different colors, with flowers dotted on the cliffs. These colors are typical Mediterranean colors, mustard yellow, dark orange-red, and the sun deepens their depth. Walking on the winding paths is like a maze, and you can only adjust your pace to explore.
A trip to Positano for seclusion and vacation is definitely a good choice. Here, there are comfortable and luxurious boutique hotels. Seeing the beautiful cottages on the mountainside, enjoying the brilliant sunshine in the endless Mediterranean Sea, it's so comfortable that there's nothing to say. Whether it's on the beach or next to the hotel's swimming pool, there are many people enjoying sunbathing leisurely.
My itinerary: Napoli - Salerno - Amalfi - Positano - Sorrento - Napoli.
Napoli to Salerno: Train for 4.3 euros (40 minutes), buy tickets at Napoli train station.
Salerno to Amalfi: take the SITA bus, buy tickets at Salerno station, less than 3 euros (1 hour)
From Amalfi to Positano: take the SITA bus, buy tickets near Amalfi station, 2 euros (1 hour).
Positano to Sorrento: Buy tickets at the Positano ticket office for 2.9 euros (40 minutes).
Sorrento to Napoli: Buy tickets at Sorrento train station for 3.9 euros (one and a half hours).

Winter in Amalfi | A Christmas holiday with almost no business
Actually, it's currently under renovation.
The locals told us that they only work for 8 months a year and work 8 days a week 😭.
The best season of the year is from April to November.
This time there are no sea activities, and not a single restaurant that we want to eat at is open.
However, the transportation is worrying 😔 What will it be like during peak season? 🤔️
Almafi can take a train from Napoli to Sorrento and transfer to a bus.
Because it's a rugged coastline, it's easy to get carsick.
Although each small town is not far away, it is recommended to stay in Sorrento or find a cliffside hotel with a sea view.
