Istanbul | Visit the most beautiful mosques
| Visit the most beautiful mosques.
As the only city in the world that spans the Eurasian continent, Istanbul is also the largest city in Turkey, where many historical sites are preserved, always full of mystery.
Coming to Istanbul, you definitely can't miss the mosques, and the Suleymaniye Mosque is the second largest mosque in Istanbul, standing on the top of the mountain on the west bank of the Golden Horn, this is the most beautiful mosque in Istanbul, many people go to the famous Blue Mosque, but miss coming here, the most conspicuous mosque seen on the Galata Bridge and Galata Tower is it.
The location of the Suleymaniye Mosque determines the uniqueness of this mosque. Unlike other mosques, the Suleymaniye Mosque is built on the Golden Horn of the Bosphorus Strait and the steep third hill. On this specially chosen location, a surprising architectural plan is used. The Suleymaniye Mosque combines the hill and the surrounding streets, making the Suleymaniye Mosque very clear in the city. The view here is very good.
I have to admire this most beautiful mosque. In the afternoon, the sun is in the courtyard, and the scenery is really beautiful. Spend half a day here, whether it's the magnificent hall or the sunny courtyard, it can slow down time and make this journey warm and beautiful.
Here is much less tourists compared to the Blue Mosque. I heard that it is because the tour group will not come to the Suleymaniye Mosque. I really recommend coming here to play, whether it's taking pictures or strolling around.
1. Transportation: Take the TRAM and get off at Eminonu station
2, facing the spice market, the Yeni Mosque is on the right, and there is a small road uphill on the left, follow the small road upwards
Walk a section of the road to see the sign stone turn, it only takes 15-20 minutes to walk from the Grand Bazaar, and you can reach the Suleymaniye Mosque.
3. Opening hours: 06:00-20:00 (January 1-December 31 Monday-Sunday)
Encounter the romantic city of Istanbul
The red vintage tram, the seagulls over the Galata Tower, the sunset at the Suleymaniye Mosque. These are the romance of Istanbul.
Istanbul, Turkey, has a history as bright as the stars and intoxicating natural scenery. In this place that exudes both classical and modern charm, everything can be romantic to the extreme.
To encounter romance, you must come to the Galata Bridge in Istanbul. The bridge spans the two continents of Asia and Europe. There are many famous ancient sites on both sides of the bridge. The bridge connects the old city and the new city, and the fishing rods on the bridge form a new landscape, especially at sunset, the scene is spectacular. Looking from one side, various fishing rods are arranged at a 45-degree angle, as if they are lining up to welcome guests from afar.
On the Galata Bridge, you can enjoy the scenery on both sides. When the weather is clear, the Bosphorus Strait is cloudless, the sea is blue, and the cruise ship passes under the Galata Bridge. The seagulls follow the cruise ship, high and low, becoming the most agile embellishment of the beautiful bay.
Walking on the Galata Bridge at sunset, looking at the Galata Tower, the seagulls flying around the Galata Tower in the twilight, and the mosque on the top of the mountain against the soft and dreamy sky.
The Galata Tower is a landmark of the new city of Istanbul. Today, it still dominates the skyline north of the Golden Horn. Climbing to the top of the tower, you can have a 360-degree view of Istanbul.
Süleymaniye Mosque
That is my favorite mosque 🕌 in Istanbul! ❤️ You need to walk a little bit from downtown. But it’s ok, because you will see the most charming mosque in the whole city (to my mind 😉). It’s visible that this place was built with love .
Here there are tombs of Süleyman and his wife Hurrem (Roxolana). From the hill you will enjoy the amazing view. The city and the sea will be in front of you! Highly recommend to visit this place when you are in Istanbul.

Suleymaniye Mosque
#istanbultrip Beautiful! One of the must-see Mosques in Istanbul. There is a nice view as well that over looks the Asian side. Also, a beautiful cemetery and Sultan Suleyman's and Roxelana'd Burial Tombs. Some tips for tourists - it's free to enter, there is a tourist entrance, don't go during prayer times, it'll be closed (but it'll give you time to admire the cemetery and Burial tombs. They have skirts and scarfs to borrow; no one can have knees or shoulders showing, and woman must cover their hair. If you borrow these items, you'll be asked to leave your shoes outside with the attendant. Otherwise, take off your shoes before entering and put them in the shoe shelf on the left / right side as you enter.
Istanbul | Suleymaniye Mosque
If I were to recommend only one of the most famous mosques in Istanbul, then the Suleymaniye Mosque would definitely be the first choice. There are no tourists (and stinky feet) in the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, what you can find here are neatly trimmed lawns, magnificent and clean architectural colors, and an excellent photo spot overlooking the entire city📷.
The mosque was built during the heyday of the Ottoman Empire and is also the tomb of Suleiman I and his wife Hurrem Sultan. My favorite place is here, this tomb is their resting place, with a sense of tranquility and peace. Walking out is a wide open space.
👀Next video preview: It is the beautiful and touching encounter here that made me decide to continue updating my travels in Turkey, letting more people know about this country's most precious treasure - people.

Istanbul's feast of sea and land
Istanbul is a big city spanning Europe and Asia. In 1973, the Bosphorus Bridge was built across the strait. There are industries such as textiles, food, ceramics, glass, machinery, automobile manufacturing, and ship repair. It is also an important fishing port. There are famous historical sites such as the Suleymaniye Mosque. Istanbul is also an ancient cultural city, with 34 universities and higher education institutions such as Istanbul University and the University of the Turkish Strait.
Suleymaniye's Fall Grace: Awe Inspiring
#fallishere
As I strolled through the peaceful streets on a crisp autumn day, the gentle rustle of leaves and the cool breeze filled the air. The golden hues of fall adorned the trees, and my path led me to the grandeur of the Suleymaniye Mosque. This majestic structure, with its exquisite architecture and serene courtyards, stood as a testament to the beauty of Islamic art and history.
The mosque, built in the 16th century by the famed Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan, was not only a place of worship but also a symbol of wisdom and cultural heritage. Its four slender minarets reached for the sky, echoing a spiritual call that resonated through the ages.
As I entered, I couldn't help but be inspired by the mosque's rich history. It was a reminder of the enduring power of faith, art, and human endeavor. This encounter with the Suleymaniye Mosque in the heart of a comfortable autumn reminded me that amidst the changes of seasons and the passage of time, the pursuit of beauty, knowledge, and spirituality can create lasting monuments to the human spirit.

Suleymaniye Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.
Suleymaniye Mosque, a masterpiece of the early Ottoman Empire, was ordered to be built by Suleiman the Magnificent from 1550 to 1557. It is one of the most iconic and magnificent mosque buildings in Istanbul.
Suleymaniye Mosque, with its magnificent exterior structure and exquisite interior design, fully showcases the heyday of the Ottoman Empire. The arches of Suleyman the Magnificent and his wife are located in this mosque. In addition, you can also see the Quran and other documents translated by the famous Chinese scholar Professor Ma Jian. Suleymaniye Mosque.
Suleymaniye Mosque in Fatih
The Suleymaniye Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in Istanbul, and it is much quieter than the Blue Mosque.
But I came here because it is said that there are Syrian refugees who have not seen a lot of circlings around. I dont know if I changed places or what happened.
If you meet a refugee. It is said that the refugees can be given food, but it is best not to give money, otherwise they will be surrounded, fearing that your money is not enough.
On the way to the Yeni Mosque, along the colorful staircase, you can reach the Suleymani Mosque, a monastery built by the Supreme Emperor of the Ottoman Empire, designed by the first architect of the Republic of Turkey, Sinan.
Suleiman Mosque is the second largest mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. The magnificent buildings are built on the complex and steep third hills, using an amazing architectural scheme that combines the hills with the surrounding streets. It is also known as the "most magnificent monument" of the Ottoman Empire. The
mosque is famous for its rich interior decoration, especially the 16th-century stained glass used in the building. When the sun shines in, it is a great sight. Inside the mosque is the tomb of Suleiman the Great and his wife, next to the tomb of the great designer Sinan. The architect has participated in the design of 400 buildings throughout his life.
Unlike other bustling mosques, the Suleymani Mosque on the mountainside has a sense of solitude, next to green trees and meadows, and overlooking the Bosphorus Strait, my favorite mosque.
