Amazing Skyline Swissotel the Stamford
#singaporetrip
Swissotel the Stamford is a fancy hotel in the middle of Singapore, right by Cityhall. I particularly like the view on the 70th floor, hotel guests can see the amazing skyline of Singapore from there. They've got lots of different rooms you can use for events, and there's a really famous restaurant called SKAI on the 69th floor. The food is really tasty, I had truffle egg mayo toast, prawns salad, tropical fruits and the service is top-notch with friendly staff.
In the lobby of Swissotel the Stamford, you'll find beautiful artwork that adds a touch of elegance to the space. From vibrant paintings to stunning sculptures, each piece of art captures the essence of Singapore's culture and heritage. As you walk through the lobby, you'll be greeted by captivating displays that enhance the hotel's luxurious ambiance. There’s also a TWG Cafe at the lobby.
Singapore City Walk Itinerary | Essential Tips for Photo Taking!
Singapore is really small, with all the worthy spots concentrated in one area. I've summarized a 2-day, 1-night city walk itinerary that's perfect for sightseeing and taking great photos!
Itinerary:
Haji Lane/Sultan Mosque—Praise Square—National Gallery Singapore—Clarke Quay—Old Hill Street Police Station—Merlion Park—Oxley—Gardens by the Bay
(This route is the most direct and you can choose the places you want to visit. The following spots are particularly photogenic)
Haji Lane/Sultan Mosque
Haji Lane is a street filled with food, perfect for eating and strolling around. The buildings are colorful and there are many graffiti walls, making it a great place for photos!
The Sultan Mosque is right next to Haji Lane, and taking photos through the door frame looks amazing!
Old Hill Street Police Station
This is the Singapore News and Arts Building, with dopamine-inducing colors. Standing across the street and taking photos is the best spot!
Merlion Park
A landmark of Singapore, where you can take creative photos as if you're catching the water from the Merlion's mouth.
Gardens by the Bay
It's like entering the planet of Pandora, with a light show at night. The shows start at 19:45 and 20:45 every night, lasting 15 minutes each.
Opening hours: Outdoor gardens 5:00-next day 2:00, other areas 9:00-21:00
💰: Admission is free, but tickets for the Flower Dome/Cloud Forest/Fantasy Garden/Supertree Observatory need to be purchased separately, around 125 RMB
Food Recommendations: Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Lemak
Accommodation: Swissotel The Stamford Singapore, conveniently located near attractions with great views!
Little tips:
1. No need to exchange too much Singaporean currency, as many places accept Alipay.
2. Do not spit or jaywalk in Singapore, as fines are enforced!
3. No worries about language barriers, there are many Chinese speakers who can speak Mandarin!
Hi, I am 567, I have traveled through 15 countries and 130 cities. Singapore is the 14th country I visited, and the travel experience was really great! It's also very safe, and now with visa-free access, you can travel with ease!

I've written posts on Swissôtel The Stamford Singapore in the past on my other posts. Today I'm doing something similar, but in a different kind of room with two super single beds set next to each other.
Without further ado, let me remind you that you are familiar with this hotel, the Swissôtel The Stamford, which is situated in the centre of Singapore. The location's address is as follows: Singapore 178882 2 Stamford Rd
As it is situated on the 58th floor and faces the habour view, overlooking the commercial sector, and the Singapore Flyers, this suite I stayed in boasts one of the best views in Singapore. It is a sight that you shouldn't miss in a lifetime.
The team at Swissôtel The Stamford provides the best customer service, making you feel at home.
An average 5* hotel staycation
Ambiance/Facilities - Standard 5*hotel facilities, however lacks kids/ family friend facilities 4/5
Highlights - Very Accessible to transport, shopping malls and food! 5/5
(PS - If you dont wan to spend on hotel’s food, you literally have a shopping mall full of cheaper food next to the hotel)
Avg. Price per Person - Pricy
Rating - 4/5
Comparing to neighbouring hotel (Fairmount), rooms are more spacious and staff are friendlier.
Swissotel the Stamford
#mysgmemories
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to Swissotel the Stamford, an interesting hotel sharing common space with the Raffles City complex. There are the Raffles City Shopping Centre, Raffles City Convention Centre and also the Fairmont Singapore in the same complex.
I was given a Swiss Executive Room on one of the highest floors of this hotel, with a very good view of the Singapore city center. Unfortunately, the room doesn’t come with a bathtub or else I would have enjoyed it more.
I also have lounge access and spent some time in the Club Lounge on the 65th floor having evening cocktails. The lounge wraps around the whole floor so if your room does not face the angle you would want to see the area.

Hello Kitty pop up cafe
A pop up cafe for Sanrio fans! This cafe is located in Swissotel, The Stamford. Location is very convenient located at city hall MRT Station. The cafe is beautifully decorated with Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars. Food is delicious too. Staff is friendly and the service is good. Reservations are required to avoid disappointment as the cafe often fully booked during dinner time and weekends.

Did a 2 night staycation and thoroughly enjoyed it! The marina bay view room is really much better than city view. Room is spacious. Bed is comfy. Also like the cushion and table.
Bathroom is on the smaller side but still ok. Didnt like the shower in bathtub combi though.
Hotel is also very convenient. Directly linked to Raffles City and City Hall mrt.

Swissotel the Stamford - Breakfast/Happy Hour
#singapore
In the breakfast part you will be spoiled with the choices and you can also enjoy some Singapore specialties food too! but the overall dishes are more to the Western-style, and the Chinese style is siu mai and char siew buns, etc.
There are also cold plates, small cakes, fruits and many more available during afternoon tea happy hours!
Many can drinks to choose from and they even have chilled red and white wines too!
It’s a perfect way to relax after a long day of shopping!
Being a Tourist in my own Country
Having stayed overseas for the past 3 years, I recently returned back to Singapore and decided to do what I’ve not done before - which is to explore this little sunny island where I was born and bred. We often look forward to going to other countries for holidays and overlook that there’s actually a lot to explore in our own country. When was the last time you take a walk around Singapore as though you were a tourist? I just did and realised that Singapore is actually so beautiful in her own ways (: #singapore #merlion #SwissoteltheStamford
Swissotel TWG afternoon tea
A fine afternoon tea is one of the reasons I might choose staying at one hotel over another, and Swissotel The Stamford definitely checked my boxes. Conveniently accessible at the hotel lobby, this cafe was oozing luxury all over. From the plush chairs and decadent ornamentation, to the incredible variety of tea (I bet there is more than 100 choices to pick from).
This staycation was meant to be a slow, relaxing one without needing to travel too far out for anything. I’m glad to say that Swissotel fit the bill perfectly with lovely restaurants like these, plus a direct connection to a whole bunch of shopping malls. Perfect indeed!

Swissotel is actually the tallest hotel in Singapore! We stayed at the 46th floor and was treated to great city views.
The room is very spacious. The long corridor might seem like a waste of space but it is exactly great for soundproofing. There was absolutely no disturbance from our neighbours at all. Every space and furniture was also well thought out and planned. The bathroom might seem a tad small compared to other hotels but i totally dont mind.
Pools were shared with Fairmont hotel. It wasnt crowded at all when we visited after breakfast.
This hotel is also very convenient as it is directly linked to Raffles City and City Hall mrt. Which means you have access to marina square and suntec. No worries about rainy weather.
Service was great too. Andik helped us check in and accommodated our request for high floor. Even sent a delicious cake to our room. Thank you Andik and Swissotel for a wonderful stay! We would love to be back!

The Luxury Swissôtel The Stamford Staycay🌟
We stayed in a Swiss Executive Harbour View Room and it was, in a word, sensational. We loved every aspect of the room and I can’t fault it – it was so well thought out, comfortable and beautifully designed.
Firstly, the room was very spacious with more than enough room for me and my partner to unpack our luggage 🧳 , hang up our clothes and open our suitcases 🧳 up to access our things. With a desk and two chairs 🪑 , as well as an additional rocking chair next to the bed, we had different places to sit so we weren’t just confined to sitting on the bed 🛌.
In terms of essentials and extras, our room included a very large television 📺 with loads of good channels, free good-quality wifi, Nespresso machine and TWG tea, Bluetooth speaker, universal wall plug, electronic safe, minibar, hairdryer , iron and ironing board.
The balcony offers unbeatable views of Singapore day and night, which we loved.
As you can see from the photo, we had the privilege of staying at the hotel for Singapore’s National Day Celebrations and the views were… unbeatable.

hello kitty cafe
The inimitable Hello Kitty will be gracing our hotel grounds again, this time at The Stamford Brasserie in Swissôtel The Stamford with Little Twin Stars from 22 November 2022 to 29 January 2023; to offer a dreamy café experience that is bound to delight fans of all ages. The Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars Café features a delightful transformation of the French style bistro’s interior, with a specially designed themed menu to complete the experience. Walk into the café and be immediately transported into a starry world, filled with cotton candy fields where Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars not only make an appearance in the dreamy café ambience with pastel motifs across the room, but are also featured in the dishes with adorable accents.
luxurious getaway in the heart of the city
Had the opportunity to stay in Swissôtel hotel The Stamford, located right smack in the middle of central Singapore, City Hall. Love that the hotel is interconnected to Raffles City Shopping Mall where there is a wide array of food and amenities for anything that you need. 😋
Large, and spacious, the large luxury king size bed was extremely comfortable to sleep in! Not to mention the room was also fitted with Nespresso capsules for that morning perk me up.
Expect spectacular views of the Singapore landscape (spot MBS) by day and night with most of their rooms fitted with a private balcony 🤩
Recommened for couples, family and business travellers, will definitely return again! 😍💯

High-tech staycay
Swissotel The Stamford had a round of refurbishment for its rooms not too long ago and have transformed them into pretty high-tech ones. With flushed panels for their switches and controls, you can do things like close the curtains while lying in bed. Also, I thought it was quite cool that the motion sensors turn on the night lights so that if you need to go to the toilet at night, you can see the floor lights illuminating your way. Very comfortable stay too!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Breakfast with a bay view
Address - Swissôtel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Road, Singapore 178882
The best part about our stay here at Swissôtel The Stamford is the club lounge perched high above the other surrounding building levels. You can enjoy a buffet breakfast with a direct view of the Marina Bay Sands hotel and bay area. The seating capacity here is high so you don’t have to worry about crowds or noise. I would’ve liked the food the have a bit more variety as the selection was kind of small. Taste wise, they were good though so no issues there.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well-equipped hotel for fitness
Nestled in the heart of the City Hall area in Singapore, Swissotel is a classy hotel with a very modern and slick design. My husband and I got a room that had a partial Marina Bay view, which was really awesome. The room also came with a bathtub, although do note that it is combined with the standing shower.
The hotel is also well-equipped for fitness buffs, with two separate gyms that are quite spacious. One is on level 8 near the spa and the other is on the club level lounge. Access is complimentary for all staying guests.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Swissotel Heaven in a Stamford Crest Suite
Yays to finally experiencing the Stamford Crest Suit 🫠
Perched on level 64, the spectacular suite offered thoughtful designs in a completely spacious 86SqM of staycation heaven. The (mostly) clean gorgeous set up blew me away, alongside the double balconies offering sweeping views of the Marina Bay area ❤️🔥
Laurent Pierre bubbles are offered to Stamford Crest guests during evening cocktails and I sure made full use of my benefits while hiding in the exclusive Crest Lounge 🍾
Stellar service from everyone once again, old and new faces alike. Eddy, Wan, Renan, Zhi Qi, Clarence, Jifa from housekeeping. Absolutely gems of the hospitality industry. 💎
Happy to keep coming back to make full use of my Accor Platinum but but Habourview Suite up next first oki? 🙈
Lounge within a lounge
This might not be a widely known fact but within the club lounge at Swissotel The Stamford, there is actually another even more exclusive lounge area specifically for guests staying in Suite levels and above. This area is located all the way in towards the end of the already massive lounge space and boasts the best sunset views on the horizon. There is also a table tennis table and set you can use on a first-come-first-serve basis. Truly the ultimate level of luxury.
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spacious and friendly lobby
I was recently at Swissotel the Stamford hotel visiting a friend from overseas. The hotel lobby was spacious and modern without the check in counters. Instead they used big monitors with touch screens for checkout in and out.
Near to the checking in and out area is a TWG cafe serving all day meals with their famous TWG tea. Ambience was nice and luxurious for anyone who wants to spend time with their family and friends.
The hotel was part of quarantine hotel during early phase of COVID 19 period but now is open to all visitors and locals to stay, dine and drink with business partners, family and friends
HIDDEN CHOCOLATE BUFFET IN SINGAPORE!
Epic hidden gem discovered at The Clove, Hotel Swissôtel The Stamford. All you can eat CHOCOLATE themed buffet! Huh? How’s that like? Is it all just desserts?! Definitely not! It is a full on buffet spread with starters, mains, some drinks, and desserts! I particularly appreciated the free flowing sparkling water, select fresh fruit juices, tea, and coffee.
What makes this buffet unique and special is that chocolate is infused in majority of the dishes, including the savory ones! This included: salmon with ivory (white) chocolate sauce, coffee glazed ribs, dark chocolate dal, lobsters in white chocolate reduction, Ruby chocolate shake, dark and white chocolate covered brie and camembert, etc.
The best section was the chocolate bar and dessert station! Over a two dozen choices of sweet, tart, creamy, and decadent chocolate themed desserts. One might ask if all the chocolate was too much or overpowering? Nope! It was just right and you’d still be able to enjoy even if you aren’t into sweets. Hopefully in the future they add some Spanish tapas, pasta, pizza, and tempura!
The staff were friendly and well-trained. The overall ambiance and vibe was pleasant and quiet even if the restaurant per se is attached to the hotel but in the part of Raffles City Shopping Centre (as the two are connected).
I highly recommend this even if you aren’t a sweet tooth. Looking forward to going back!
Address - The Clove, Hotel Swissôtel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Road, Singapore, 178882
Highlights - Chocolate Themed Buffet (full spread of appetizers, entrees, desserts, etc.)
Avg. Price per Person - ~78 SGD per person normal price, but 50% off (so you essentially pay for just one person if you are a couple) exclusive for Accor Plus members! This was as of October 2022
Rating - 8.5/10

Swiss-inspired stay
Located a stone’s throw away from the Marina Bay area, this hotel is one of the tallest hotels in Singapore. Swissotel The Stamford has a modern and chic aesthetic in its design, and we really felt comfortable in the room. Even within the same category, there are some slight differences in the rooms configuration.
Their bathrooms come with a rainshower as well as a hand-held shower. Plus the views are quite amazing, especially the sunset. To be enjoyed with a cup of tea in hand.

Take a dive at Swissotel
Address - Swissôtel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Road, Singapore 178882
There are two huge swimming pools located on the 8th floor, which are facilities shared by both Swissotel The Stamford and Fairmont Hotel. One is a lap pool that has floating lane markings and where the instructor-led aqua fitness classes take place.
The other is more a free and easy pool where many kids are swimming. If you are feeling thirsty and want a bite, there is a pool bar for you to relax at or simply have your order brought to your cabana.

Dreamy 2N Swiss Signature Suite Staycay
#staycation
This was also one of my postponed-multiple-times staycays and I am super glad I managed to do it! ❤️
The Swiss Signature Suite is now one of my fav rooms in SG - the double balcony, the generous work + living area, and the comfy firm bed. An entire 50SqM of gorgeous space which I wouldn’t mind spending a week in 🙈
Fantabulous elite recognition as an ALL Platinum: upsized welcome amenities, and /stellar service especially by the Level 65 team - Zhi Qi, Ivan, Clarence, the two Ronalds, and Romulus. 🌟
The eats at Level 65 were high quality calories and drinks were okay-ish but would have liked having a sparkling option 🥶
A malfunction of the high rise lifts on check out day meant a joyride in their service lifts to get to my room which was memorable to say the least 👻
I want to come back to Crest Suite next! 🐸
Level 65 Lounge Breakfast
The lounge is exclusive to guests of executive rooms and above and guests have a choice to have breakfast either in the lounge or at Prego restaurant.
Breakfast is served from 7am to 10.30am and is definitely more exclusive dining experience to eat breakfast in the lounge, accompanied by great views. The breakfast spread is extensive but nothing spectacular. The usual gamut from live egg station, to a wide selection of bread, cold cut, salad, yogurt fruits, cereals to mains like congee, sausage, bacon etc..
For the exclusivity, view and intimacy, would definitely choose having breakfast in the lounge instead of at Prego.
#muststay
The Level 65 Lounge Experience
All guests of Swiss Executive rooms and above have access to the lounge. The lounge is a stunning place. The high ceiling (2 floors) means that ample light comes in and it makes the place already bigger than it is. The decor is modern and the views ate spectacular. It spans almost the entire floor so can almost have a 360 degree view of Singapore from the lounge. The sunset is especially spectacular to view.
Evening cocktail is from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. While the stated dress code is smart casual, this is not strictly enforced. Have seen guests in t shirts, shorts and slippers having their meals in the lounge. The buffet spread is extensive though nothing too heavy. Mainly finger food like fried winglets, yakitori sticks, edamame, pastries, Nonya kuehs, and most importantly free flow of alcohol. wide selection of liquor type, from wines, gins, whiskeys and vodka.

Staycation with club lounge
Address - Swissôtel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Road, Singapore 178882
I highly recommend getting a club room or a suite when doing a staycation here at Swissôtel The Stamford, simply because it is probably one of the best club lounge experiences in Singapore!
You get to enjoy sweeping views of the city from a high vantage point because the club lounge is located on level 66. It also comes with free-flow buffet in terms of afternoon tea, evening cocktails and breakfast the next morning. Very worth to go!

Plush lobby lounges
Address - Swissôtel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Road, Singapore 178882
Upon entering the lobby lounge and reception area, my husband and I immediately found ourselves a nice comfy sofa seat to wait at for our turn to check in. The lobby lounge is pretty spacious and despite there being a lot of bustling and people running around, it somehow felt like there was enough room for everyone.
There are also seats at a long table as well, suitable for those who need to get some work done while waiting. Overall, we enjoyed the comfortable ambience here.
