Exploring Tainan｜Art Museum Cafe - Nanmei Chunshi The POOL.
Choosing the right spot makes every photo look great🖤
This is my second visit to Nanmei Chunshi inside the art museum.
I ordered the egg waffles again.
Previously tried the strawberry flavor and fell in love instantly!
This time, I opted for the summer mango.
The crispy edges of the egg waffles paired with vanilla custard,
and topped with Juan Wei's sea salt milk ice cream.
Absolutely delicious~ I felt a sense of happiness after finishing it🥰

If you're not visiting the museum, a NT$50 deposit is needed for a green wristband,

Too hot to go anywhere?
I highly recommend visiting the art museum to enjoy the air conditioning and explore the exhibitions.
When you're tired, head to the café on the 5th floor for some desserts.
You can easily spend an entire afternoon there. 😌
I think the Tainan Art Museum is fantastic!
From July 1st, you can use the same ticket twice before the end of the year.
And I just found out that one ticket grants access to both buildings.
Alright, I'll visit Building 1 next time. 🤞🏻

The second Art museum in Tainan. Built during 2019.
Outer side of the museum is suitable for a photoshoot during night time when the lights are up (FOC). During day time can visit exhibition indoor (View ticket fee below). On a side note, may also visit their “The Pool” cafe within the museum during day time for some food & beverages, the place is very instagrammable too.

White Phoenix Flowers at the Tainan Art Museum Branch II
"I've finally arrived at the other side of the Anywhere Door - Tainan"
The Tainan Art Museum Branch II takes the phoenix flower as its motif, transforming it into a pentagonal shape. The top is hollowed out with many small squares stacked together, not only allowing for excellent light transmission but also creating a fantastic photo effect as the sunlight refracts through the glass and sprinkles into the venue. 👍🏻
The outdoor space of Branch II is completely free, with numerous steps leading to different rooftops, offering views of Tainan's city streets from various directions.
The interior space is even more spacious and bright, with a fragmented pentagonal star-shaped roof overhead, casting shadows like sunlight piercing through leaves.
There are a total of 18 exhibition halls, making it the art museum with the most exhibition halls in Taiwan, primarily featuring modern art. As an art novice, I basically don't understand the works; I just enjoy the atmosphere. For me, I appreciate the architecture itself more than the artworks~

Infuse with art atmosphere in Tainan
Tainan Arts Museum is currently one of the most visited landmarks in Tainan, not only it has various art exhibitions, its house cafe The Pool is also attract people to come over for photo taking and chilling sessions.
This building is designed by architects Joe Shih and Shigeru Ban Architects and also the work of Pritzker Architecture Prize recipient. The design of the building drew inspiration from Delonix regia and its conspicuous pentagonal contours certainly helped to turn the architecture into a cultural landmark that embodies Tainan. The layered structure of different exhibition spaces coupled with the large fractal roof are the most prominent features of Tainan Art Museum Building 2.

If you are not an “art” person, no worries, other than its art galleries, there is a cafe opened at the 5th floor where you can enjoy the cafe and take the instagrammable photos !!
