The beauty of fine art in Taipei 🖼️ 🎨
The Taipei fine art museum has an impressive collection of art across various collections, it has something for everyone. It has multiple galleries over five floors with a mixture of permanent collections and temporary modern art installations.
It has a shop and library in the basement along with interactive activities for children where they can create their own art and stories.
There is a fee for entry but it is free after 5PM, it can get quite busy during the free hours so it’s worth paying the fee to have a quieter galley experience.
It’s very close to food options with a huge food market across the road, if not there are a few onsite cafes too.

The museum has 3 floors which is a nice way to go through the whole area for a half day. Besides, they have park to chill in and the basement for cafe area.

Taipei Fine Arts Museum
A very beautiful museum, the building itself is a piece of art. It's not far from Yuanshan MRT Station, and you can walk through the Flower Expo Holiday Market to get there. It's a great place for friends to hang out, couples to date, or families to enjoy together. I've been here many times for exhibitions, and I always leave feeling enriched.
The exhibition routes are well planned, and there are detailed explanations of the exhibits. There are also plenty of places to sit and rest if you get tired. The basement offers coffee and light snacks, and there's a beautiful courtyard garden to stroll through. The exhibits are very diverse, ranging from modern to traditional art, and from flat to architectural or mixed media artworks. Some themes are also timely, resonating deeply with visitors.
The entire place is filled with an artistic and literary vibe. Sometimes, it's interesting just to see how people are dressed. Highly recommended.

Art in Motion: A Contemplative Journey through the Taipei Fine Arts Museum
The Taipei Fine Arts Museum is a serene sanctuary of art, nestled in a corner of the bustling city. As you step inside, the clean and flowing lines of the white architecture resemble an unfinished sketch on a canvas, waiting for each visitor to add their imaginative colors.
The exhibition of the day focused on modern art, featuring everything from minimalist geometric installations to vibrant abstract paintings. Each piece tells its own story within the space. I found myself standing in front of a massive oil painting, where the chaotic brushstrokes and intense colors seemed to push the artist's emotions into the viewer's chest, leaving a lasting impression.
Walking through the galleries, the light and shadows gently shift with the trees outside the windows, adding a touch of natural dynamism to the artworks. I was particularly drawn to a section dedicated to Taiwanese local culture, where the delicate brushwork depicted rural scenes and everyday moments, evoking a nostalgic longing for simpler times.
The Taipei Fine Arts Museum is not just a visual feast but also a journey of the mind. The allure of art blossoms here, creating a silent dialogue between people and the world, making it a place I am reluctant to leave.

"2023 Biennale" A surprising exploration of the Taipei Art Museum
When you step into the Taipei Art Museum to visit the "2023 Biennale", you feel like you have entered another world. You are surrounded by various exhibitions and unique creations, which is dizzying. I was attracted by the rich visual elements from the beginning, and I couldn't help but stop in front of each work and savor the message conveyed by the artist. Works of various styles, materials and forms in the exhibition are juxtaposed, sometimes shocking and sometimes thought-provoking, as if each work is silently telling a unique story.
The design of the exhibition area allows people to be deeply involved in it. Through each work, I seem to have entered a profound spiritual journey. The audience around them also communicated with each other with different emotions and expressions, making the experience of this exhibition even more multi-layered and vivid. This trip to the museum not only opened my eyes, but also made me feel the infinite inclusiveness and possibilities of art.
