As an island enthusiast, I set foot on the only inhabited archipelago in Fujian Province that is the farthest from the mainland: Taishan Island. 🤩

🚌Transportation:
- Public Transit: Take the high-speed train to Fuding City, then early the next morning go to the bus station to buy a minibus ticket to Shacheng Town, about a 1-hour drive. For self-driving, navigate to Shacheng Port, where there are parking spaces on the roadside. Purchase ferry tickets at the hall of the exit, with a round-trip price of 240 yuan per person. The ferry takes 2 hours, and there are generally departures around 7:00, 10:00, and 12:00.
- Others: Tents can be rented, and there are no lights outside the villages at night, so it's very dark. From April to June, you can see the blue tears. There are no vehicles on the island, so be prepared for a round-the-island trip. Motion sickness medicine depends on personal needs, as some parts of the voyage can be quite shaky. 🚢
