Watch ballet at Scala theater Milan
Let's talk about the theater. I won't say much about history. Let's talk about my observations, feelings and suggestions.
Seats that night: 15 seats in row J in the main hall
The old theater pays attention to the sense of history, and the design must have defects: the slope is not enough, the spacing between the rows is too small, and the front and rear seats are also good. The back of the head of the front seat just blocks the center of the stage (see the tail picture), stretching out his neck and tilting his head to watch the performance. In fact, this is a problem that many old European theaters have.
It's a little small, and the facilities are relatively simple. Everyone is crowded in the lobby at the entrance to drink in the midfield, which is different from the Vienna Opera and Paris Garnier.#100WaysOfTravel

Meanwhile, in Milan...
Milan is known for being fashionable. Milan is one of the fashion capitals of the world along with London, Paris and New York. It hosts Milan fashion week twice a year. Milan is a beautiful city. It oozes style and sophistication in that effortless, just-woke-up-like-this catwalk model kind of way.
We took in the buzz of Milan from its beautiful square the Piazza del Duomo, which is Milan’s grandest square. If you are visiting Milan, this should be your starting point. From here you can view the wonderful Duomo and surrounding buildings. We visited the iconic Duomo di Milano, the world's largest—and perhaps most stunning—Gothic cathedral, Located in the centre of Milan in the Piazza del Duomo. With an Italian Gothic style, the front facade of the cathedral is truly magnificent and is crowned with countless towers, statues and decoration. Then, we walked through the glass-ceilinged arcade of the world's oldest mall, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II which is testament to Milan’s title as one of the world’s fashion capitals. This wondrous, glass-ceilinged arcade connects the piazzas of the Duomo and the Teatro alla Scala opera house, and is lined with cafes and high-end boutiques, such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada. We also visited Milan's 15th century castle and museum, Sforza Castle. Despite its name, Castello Sforzesco looks more like a fortress with a large courtyard than a castle. The complex has a library and several museums. We spent less than a day here hence we didn't get to visit all the other beautiful places here.
Milan is worth visiting for its abundance of historical, cultural, and architectural landmarks. Milan has a lot going for it and there are plenty of reasons to fall in love with it. If you’re looking for mesmerising landmarks and stunning architecture then it’s here in spades.
