Temple Street Night Market, HK
Considered one of the most popular destination to visit when you are in Hongkong. Temple Street night market offers a wide variety of souvenir items, produce, different goods such as toys, clothes, shoes, etc.etc. ,name it, they probably selling it there on a very cheap price. Price huggling is welcome in the street too. As soon as the sun sets, bunch of kiosks or little shops are set up in the street.
A very lively neighborhood in Yau Ma Tei and Jordan in Kowloon, Hongkong.
Aside from the night market, karaoke machines are visible in the street too as well as fortune tellers. Also, Temple street offers a huge array of food kiosks and restaurants.

All Roads Lead to Temple Street 💥
Temple Street is a street located in Jordan, Kowloon. It is known for its night market and as one of the busiest flea markets in Hong Kong.💥
Popular with tourists and locals alike, it is also common to see the place crowded at dusk. 💫
It sells cheap clothes, gadgets and food item which of course can be bargained and negotiate for. 😎
This location is definitely a must see when in Hong Kong as it provides the vibrant and authentic vibe one hopes to get at street markets. 🤞

My walk through downtown started with a short trip to 7-eleven. It is easy to get lost in the small streets of Hong Kong so even though I had checked the map, I walked in the wrong direction for a while until I realized I had to turn back and walk west and turn north as I had planned. Then I found the big street to walk toward Temple Street and it was easy and familiar from there. So you have to be careful not to try to go somewhere through small streets and try to pick a big street to get to your desired destination. The walk was North from Tsim Sha Tsui and it took me about 30 minutes. I saw some nice areas with some sculptures along the way. #urbanexplorer

Walk through Hong Kong
I walked through downtown Hong Kong. The day was nice, with a breezy wind. A little hot on the crosswalks under the sun, bur I always chose a shady side of the street to walk. The Temple Street area is not very busy but not very quiet either at noon and walking from the Tsim Sha Tsui area was worth it, not too long as most people think. I decided not to take the MRT and just walked instead. It was about a 30 minute walk. On the way I saw some famous double-decker red buses and some market areas. Many 7-elevens along the way as well to get some refreshments. All in all, it was a pleasant walk but you have to be careful about the British-style traffic if you are coming from a right-side driving country.

Temple Street Night Market has a lot to offer, from traditional Chinese food to Cantonese food, seafood, and continental food, everything is available right on the street. The traditional "Dai Pai Dong" also known as small food stalls, serves fresh food to thousands of people coming to Temple Street every day. This place is perfect for buying inexpensive Chinese souvenirs and accessories. Hair combs, bangles, bags, t-shirts… you name it! Besides that, you can find second-hand and antique items here too, as well as the always popular various leather goods with a range of styles. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations #travelinspiration

This is the most popular night market in Hong Kong. You can find a wide range of food stalls here. From the park at the end of Temple Street, you can look down the whole street and admire the night view. In the park, there is a row of fortune-tellers. Across the road is an outdoor KTV. Don't miss the delicious egg waffles at the entrance!

Hong Kong Travel | Temple Street Experience - Exploring Tradition and Prosperity
🇭🇰 I've finally arrived at the other side of the Anywhere Door, Hong Kong, China
Temple Street is located in the Yau Ma Tei area of Kowloon and is one of the most famous night markets in Hong Kong. Taking advantage of the Dragon Boat Festival, I went for a walk in the "Temple Street" from the movies with my friends.
🚌 Transportation
Getting to Temple Street is very convenient, you can choose the following modes of transportation:
🚇 Subway: Take the MTR Tsuen Wan Line to Jordan Station or Yau Ma Tei Station, and then it's about a ten-minute walk to Temple Street. The area of Temple Street south of Jordan Station and north of Yau Ma Tei Station is the most bustling.
Yau Ma Tei
Nathan Road
🚟 Bus: Take a bus that passes through Nathan Road and get off near Temple Street, then walk to your destination.
🍱 Food Paradise
Upon arriving at Temple Street, the dazzling array of snack stalls immediately caught my attention. Temple Street is an excellent place to taste various traditional snacks, with authentic roasted meats, fish balls, and stir-fried noodles, each bite filled with unique flavors and textures.
🍜 Must-Try Foods
✅ Roasted Meats: Crispy skin and juicy meat, paired with special sauce, are unforgettable.
✅ Fish Balls: The chewy texture and rich broth are classics of Hong Kong street snacks.
✅ Stir-fried Noodles: The fragrant stir-fried noodles, accompanied by fresh ingredients, are very tempting.
🎆 The Charm of the Night Market
The night market of Temple Street is a highlight. As night falls, the whole street glows, neon lights flicker, and various stalls display their goods, as if you are in a city that never sleeps, just like the bustling and splendid scenes we see in Hong Kong movies.
📷 Must-Visit Photo Spots in the Night Market
⛩️ Temple Street Archway: The archway at the entrance and exit of Temple Street is a distinctive feature, rich in the history and characteristics of Yau Ma Tei. The illuminated archway shines in the night, making it a great place for photos. From a distance, you can capture the entire antique archway with the surrounding modern buildings, showcasing the unique charm of Temple Street.
🌃 Night Market: The hustle and bustle of Temple Street's night market can be captured by photographing the vendors' stalls and the endless stream of visitors, recording the lively atmosphere through the lens. By carefully observing the surrounding crowd and details, wait for the best scene to emerge. In the late night, the sight of vendors packing up their stalls is also a unique angle for photography.

Hong Kong's distinctive niche night market
Do you know where the most authentic Hong Kong night market is?
It's Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei!
🔺Temple Street is divided into north and south sections, with a Tin Hau Temple in the middle, hence the name. It runs through Yau Ma Tei and Jordan.
The Tin Hau Temple is located at the banyan tree head in Yau Ma Tei. To the south of the temple, there is a row of stalls for palm reading🖐️ and fortune telling✍️.
The stall owners each put on an air of being half-immortal, and indeed some people sit down to inquire about their future, while young men and women come to ask about their love life👩❤️👨.
🔺Temple Street is famous for selling affordable goods, hence it's known as 'Hong Kong's commoner's night club'.
Also, because it initially sold mainly men's products, it was also called 'Men's Street'🤵♂️.
The variety of goods sold at the Temple Street stalls is very diverse, including clothing, glasses, watches, toys, leather goods, celebrity posters, telescopes, jade, purple clay teaware, coins, ornaments, old photos, and old paintings, etc.
🔺There are also many local delicacies here, with a variety of snacks, traditional desserts, clay pot rice, seafood stalls, various congee, noodle and rice dishes, herbal tea shops, and street snacks.
At the same time, it is also a location for many movies, such as Stephen Chow's 'God of Cookery', Ekin Cheng's 'Temple Street Story', and Andy Lau's 'Twelve Young Men of Temple Street', all of which were filmed here.
【Transportation】
Take the subway to Jordan Station and exit from Exit A.

【Rampaging Hong Kong】In Jordan: Austin Bar Street, drink coffee and tea as alcohol~
Last night at this time,
zz sister and I were still looking for street bars everywhere,
Wanting to have a small drink and rest our feet,
Who would have thought that we couldn't find any on Flower Garden Street, Ladies' Street, Nathan Road, Shanghai Street...
Tonight after coming out of Temple Street, strolling and eating until we're full,
Then we walked along Yu Hua Department Store towards Bao Ling Street,
Then up Austin Road, turn right at the intersection,
You can see the cross under the night light "Bible Lecture",
And the neon decoration across the street--
Oh! There are two more mini bars,
The neighborhood is quiet, not many people, but not few cars,
Not as noisy as Hennessy Road, Sunset Boulevard,
The music🎵 can only be heard when people get close---
This kind of non-disturbance is very fresh,
But occasionally it will be shaken by the roar of one or two suddenly started sports cars
I asked my son if he wanted to go in for a drink?
The son replied: It's too late to drink, but cappuccino is okay~
Well, then one cup of coffee and tea + one cup of cappuccino!
Let's toast to this bright pearl of the Orient that never sleeps~

【Eat and stroll】in Temple Street: A gathering of various delicacies, full of the smoke and fire of life~
Temple Street in Hong Kong, a very characteristic street.
Located in Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong,
Named after the nearby Tin Hau Temple.
For a long time, it has been a place where people from all walks of life have settled. The bustling Tin Hau Temple will divide Temple Street into two,
One end is the territory of the underworld: fortune telling and "beating villains" are all available, and the other end is the world of small commodities and snack stalls-
It's a bit quiet during the day,
As soon as night falls, it becomes a bustling market street,
Gathering all kinds of delicacies from all over the world,
Stroll and eat, maybe you will encounter the long-lost hometown taste here...
This is what we call the night market street~
Hey! Let the camera📷📱start the eat first mode,
Then go fill up two people's stomachs~

One friend suggested to me to check out the aesthetics of Temple street by the dawn. So i did.
Temple street is that popular night street that the crowd flocks in when you visit Hongkong.
The street comes alive as soon as the sun sets in.
The street features a night market, foodie's haven, old and interesting buildings surrounding it, and these old rustic mini busses that roam around the city are a real treat.
So when you visiting, don't forget to grab your cameras and click away.

Cheap buys at temple Street
Temple St, Jordan, Hong Kong
The temple Street is located at the Jordan area. You can take a mtr and alight at the Jordan train station. If you are staying at Novotel Nathan or Travelodge, you can take the underground pass towards the temple Street, which is located opposite. If you are staying at Goodrich and evergreen hotel, temple Street is few minutes walk away.
Temple Street is opened daily from 2pm to 12am. Temple Street is famous for its cheap bargain goods. They sell electronic products, apparels, paintings, and many more. What caught my attention was the cute cartoon laughed tag. Each cost 10 hkd. This is super worth. I bought lots of them and gave to my relatives and neighbours. You can put it on your luggage or kids can put it on their bag. There is even a tag where you can your name and details. There is even USB thumb drive sold there at an reasonably low price. Do bargain more if you are buying in bulks.
