#meetlondon #london #toweroflondon #crown #jewelry
The highlight of the visit to the Tower of London is the Crown Jewels. Definitely worth visiting but be prepared for long queues (see 2nd photo for an idea of how long the queue might be)
Please be aware that photography in the Jewel House is not allowed.
The Crown Jewels, part of the Royal Collection, are the most powerful symbols of the British Monarchy and hold deep religious and cultural significance in our nation’s history. The mystique and beauty of the diamonds and precious jewels in the royal regalia have always held an unparalleled allure to visitors from across the globe.

This is the place to see the Crown Jewels, don't miss out on it. You are not allowed to take photos but believe me, they look amazing 😉 😍 ✨️
The Tower of London, officially His Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, is a historic castle on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. It lies within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, which is separated from the eastern edge of the square mile of the City of London by the open space known as Tower Hill.
It was founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest. The White Tower, which gives the entire castle its name, was built by William the Conqueror in 1078 and was a resented symbol of oppression, inflicted upon London by the new Norman ruling class.
