The Habitat Penang Hill
#penangtrip I saw many tourists turning back after seeing the ticket prices which is like RM 40. I think it’s well worth the price if you’re a nature lover. Not many animals as they say to observe but the walk in the wilderness is absolutely relaxing and the crest is just amazing. You can see langkawi from the top at certain times.
Only thing is half the places are closed. So it’s on your pathway but you just can’t go there.

This place is a true GEM! We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang with our little son and loved it! The services and room were impeccable, and we enjoyed our family time under the sun. The swimming pool here is huge and has many play features for the young ones. Endless play options here for the kids, there's also a kids' club that allows parents to drop off their children should they need a breather at the spa.
The beach is right next to the hotel so do pop by the beach if you intent to do any water sports. The room is spacious and extremely comfortable.
Exploring penang is easy! We took taxi to Penang Hill and a short hike in the nature and enjoyed the aerated views of Penang. Food is everywhere! We love the affordable Asia cuisine.

Penang Rainforest Discovery Centre
#penang
Habitat Penang Hill is located at Jalan Stessen, Bukit Bendera Air Itam, 11500 Georgetown. It is around 350 meters 5 minutes walk from the final stop of Penang Hill funicular train. It is open daily from 0900-1900.
It is a world class rain forest discovery centre at the edge of the magnificent rainforest located within easy reach of the vibrant metropolis of Penang.
The vision for the Habitat Penang Hill was to enable people to experience nature with minimal impact on the environment, including building a 230 meters canopy walk and the 360 degrees viewing platform ( curtis crest ) nestled in the treetops.
Curtis Crest is a circular walk that can let you see both sides of Penang Hill. Walking along the 230 meters canopy walk which is known as Langur, passing above deep valley filled with ferns and tall trees, you also can spot some of the langurs who give this bridge tge name.
There is a big swing, that will let you swing in the rainforest, hearing sounds of nature, like birds and insects chirp.

The Habitat Penang Hill 🍃🌲
The area of The Habitat is not too big, not much visitor as well during long weekend. Nice greenery away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Penang Hill. Recommended to visit at least once. Cheaper ticket can be found online or pay attention to their social media for occasional promotion. 👀
The entire area is quite pleasant to walk and won't be too tiring except for the Curtis crest, which you need to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the top. Canopy walk would be very nice for kids and the elderly. 🌸
Excellent place for kids to explore the nature. They have professional service by enthusiasm staff. They understand the jungle and can answer hundreds of questions from the eager learning kids. 🫶🏻
Recommended. 👍🏻✨

Habitat Penang Hill offers a walk along some of the island’s oldest rainforest – a staggering 130-millions-year old. Its magical nature will uplift your overall health and state of mind.
Tree Top Walk, aka Curtis Crest gives a 360-degree panoramic view of Penang Island from the highest viewing point of Penang and may stretch as far as the island of Langkawi, Jewel of Kedah on good days.
The Langur Way canopy walk is the world longest two span ribbon bridge in the world, constructed without the use of heavy machinery. It is the only one in a rainforest that sits 40m above forest floor.

The Habitat Penang Hill
Last year was my first visit to The Habitat and I had a great time then. Therefore it was one of the first destination on my list when I planned for this trip to Penang again. I was so eager to go thru the great experience I had during the previous visit but I was up for a surprise as it got even better this time round!
The highlight of this trip must go to the new addition at the place, THE ZIP LINES!! Its called The Flight Of The Colugo. It’s exciting yet fit for the entire family for all ages. This is my first zip line experience and I am glad to have gotten the courage to earn the wonderful experience. Here’s some shots of the new zip lines at habitat.

The Habitat, where hundreds of millions of years of granite stone
have arrived in Penang, don't forget to climb the top of the flag. Penang Shangqi Mountain is a red card punching place, it is worth a visit! Mount Qiqi Mountain is also called Penang Mountain. The top of the mountain is about 821 meters above sea level. The mountain climate is cool and pleasant. It is a cool summer resort. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see the whole island and the view is very wide. It takes 10 minutes to change to the Habitat from the cable car to the Mid-Levels. This is another attraction in the Penang Hill, the very primitive forest of the The Habitat, and hundreds of millions of years of granite stone, there will be wild monkeys popping out to climb trees, wild crows, or go to the mountains to see All kinds of exotic flowers and grasses, there are giant circular walking passages, which can run around arbitrarily, very stable. Although the walking time is long, you can use this time to look at the scenery and breathe the fresh air of nature. It is better to have a direct drinking water system. If you are thirsty, you can press the nozzle to drink and quench your thirst.
Tickets: RM50 for adults, RM30 for children, RM30 for students, RM30/hh for people over 60 years old/Open hours: 9 per day

Habitat in the Skies at Penang
Penang Hill is definitely worth a visit! just look at the view from the pictures! Climb up the circular sky platform to get an even better view of Penang city and the seas/nature beyond. You will definitely get your adrenaline pumping from the sheer height of it. There are also food options and hang out areas scattered around the hill so you can chill out with friends and families and fill up your bellies while you're at it!

The habitat Penang
#familytrips2024 If you like and enjoys nature why not come to penang hill where you can enjoy a scenery walk at the habitat. Just for rm50 you get to walk through a glass bridge, rope bridge as well as enjoy the nature’s breeze of wind. However make sure to not come during noon as it will be very hot, and it ruins your mood of enjoying the walk of nature. Come on a weekdays as well to prevent over crowded.

Worth to visit: The Habitat Penang Hill
When you visit Penang hill, there will be so many attractions that you can visit and one of them is The Habitat.
The Habitat is a small enclosure for some animals that can roam freely there. I meet cute monkeys, squirrels, and butterflies. I love how neat the enclosure is, the path and the spot are well prepared.
I love the tree top walk, you can walk in the glass bridge and see the view from the top and it surely amazing! It’s also a good photo spot.
It’s about 1.6 km walk and we can go back to the entrance get with the bougie car they provide

The habitat. Penang
The habitat is a beautiful rainforest trail, located in Penang hill.
To visit it I will advise you to get the funicular train from the lower station at the Penang Hill Railway Station so you can have another experience if you have never taken a funicular😊
For getting the tickets which are not that cheap you can try to find them on internet as I did, because you will get to save some euros, there are many online companies to get the tickets, I actually used trip.com to get them.
There are some animal species in the habitat but I got to see only squirrels and monkeys and you really have to be aware of the surroundings as it is not easy to find them.😊

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who happens to visit Penang, Malaysia! It is really Feb beautiful work of nature and I was impressed how well maintained this place is and professionally managed by a conglomerate who cares about sustainability and environment preservation. The staff was friendly and helpful with route and directions. The view from the tree top walk was spectacular.

Penang hill is most popular in Penang. Prepare yourself to be there early because it is very busy you might have to be in the queue 1-2 hours to get tickets and get on the train. When you get there first thing you have to try coconut ice cream lol that’s nice one and the view and food are ok.
