This post is all you need. 1️⃣ Central Central is one of Hong Kong's CBD areas, and the crowded CBD and 1980s streets show the modern and retro elements of Hong Kong to the fullest. 🚇 Take the subway from Hong Kong West Kowloon to Nam Cheong to Central. 📷 The Peak Tram, Bank of China Tower S-shaped track, Pottinger Street. p2.3.4.5.6. The night view from the Peak is a must-see, so don't miss it! 2️⃣ Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok 🚇 You can start from Tsim Sha Tsui and walk all the way to Mong Kok (half an hour's walk). There are a few places that we went for food, pastries, sight seeing vantage points, photo spots. So here’s some of the places that we visited: 1. The Peak One of the must visit places in Central would be The Peak. Visitors can choose to take the tram, bus or hike up to the peak. The view was simply breathtaking and stunning, 10/10 recommending this! 2. Pottinger Street Popular spot for photo shoots and movie scenes with its unevenly paved stairs. This was my first trip to Hong Kong, and it was a bit different from what I expected

I took my child to Hong Kong over the weekend, mainly to meet friends. The Hong Kong I saw for the first time was somewhat different from what I had anticipated. We visited Tsim Sha Tsui, West Kowloon, Wan Chai, strolled around Victoria Harbour, Harbour City, and went up to the Peak. The streets of Hong Kong were not crowded, especially Victoria Harbour, where there were not many tourists under the night sky, and the breeze was very comfortable. It felt a bit like the Bund in Shanghai, but with far fewer people. Another impression from this trip to Hong Kong is that dining in restaurants is really expensive, with a simple dish costing over 100, and even fast food like beef rice and noodles costing around 80-90. Accommodation: After reading many posts online, we ended up staying at the Hong Kong Metropark Hotel Kowloon with our child. The environment was okay, at least the room we stayed in was relatively clean.

Effort-saving method - Tram up and down the mountain: Exit from J2, follow the signs or navigate to "Peak Tram", it's about five or six hundred meters away 2. Bus up, tram down: Take bus X15 from the Admiralty MTR station exit to go up the mountain, with both routes having a bus about every 20 minutes 3. Hike up, tram down: Get off at the University of Hong Kong station and exit from A2, turn left at the exit to enter the entire hiking route~ It's roughly from the Graduate House of the University of Hong Kong—Morning Trail at Lung Fu Shan—Hatton Road—Peak. Hong Kong has been visited many times, but this time it's particularly different. It was overcast, and for a continuous week, the top of Victoria Peak was mostly shrouded in thick fog, visibility was super low, just to take a few photos, I climbed the mountain for five consecutive days and I admire myself for that, but fortunately, I managed to take some quite satisfying photos (picture six) The spot requires climbing a small hill on the walking trail side. For Monster Building, those shots they took of the super tall buildings are photoshopped, shooting from a low angle, the building is only this tall. Sunsets of Victoria Peak 🌅

Catching the sunset at Victoria Peak in Hong Kong was an unforgettable experience. I started my journey by taking public bus 15 from Central Exchange Square. I chose the bus over the peak tram as it was the most wallet friendly way up the mountain 😂. Ascending through winding roads, anticipation built with every turn. As I reached the peak, the panoramic view of the harbour stretched out before me, the city's skyline bathed in the warm hues of the setting sun. I found a spot along the Peak Circle Walk, where I could immerse myself in the beauty of the moment. The sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant colors, casting a mesmerizing glow over the cityscape. Lucky me, as I had visited on a clear day, I could even see the peak of Tai Mo Shan over the sea of clouds! The sunsets at Victoria Peak are truly moments of pure magic that we should all witness. Traveling alone to Hong Kong Island is a great choice. You can start from North Point and walk along the waterfront promenade all the way to Sai Ying Pun. Such a city walk allows you to check in at Hong Kong's key famous spots, and it's all very exhilarating! Walking along the waterfront boardwalk, the route can follow North Point, Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Central, Sai Wan, and Sai Ying Pun. 1. Accommodation budget: The hotel rooms in the Central area are smaller, but the location is excellent. Generally, a four-star hotel room is about 13 square meters, and the room rate is around 600 yuan, of course, this is the non-weekend price. The room rate for 3 days and 2 nights (including taxes) is about 1300 yuan. 2. Dining budget: There are many restaurants in Hong Kong with different grades, and the most cost-effective ones are the tea restaurants. They are popular even among locals for their affordable prices, good taste, and fresh ingredients. The average consumption per person in a tea restaurant on Hong Kong Island is about 100 Hong Kong dollars, which is roughly 92 yuan in RMB. #timetotravel A visit to The Peak or Victoria Peak is a must when you are in Hongkong so you can appreciate the skyline even better. If you go there on a fine day, you will be able to see Victoria Harbour and Kowloon. I've been there twice and the first time I was there was really foggy so the entire city was not visible. The second time I went there, I got lucky as it was somehow a good day, atleast we could see the skyscrapers in the city below. I suggest you get an octopus card so you dont need to purchase a ticket on the tram going up. You just have to tap the octopus card and you are good to go for a tram ride to The Peak. It's so crowded at the tram station during weekends and public holidays but it's worth a try. Paying the fare with an Octopus card will be much easier and save time. When getting into the train take the right side if you want to enjoy the view while riding up the hill. If you're looking for an alternate spot to the Observation Deck to take those Harbour pics. The Lions Pavillion located along the hike trails offers equally stunning vantage shots. My friend came to Hong Kong and wanted to go to the Peak, so I took her to the Peak Park where I saw many blue hydrangeas blooming years ago. Although there are no hydrangeas now, it is still as beautiful as Alice's Wonderland garden! Full of fairy tale feelings! The mountain top park in spring is so beautiful! The lawn and trees are all healing shades of green, with blooming azaleas everywhere. It's very peaceful and there aren't many people. · 💐About Shan Ding Park; The Peak Park is located on the top of Victoria Peak, higher than the location of the Peak Plaza. This is a pet-friendly park where you can bring your own dogs and cats to run freely on the grassy mountain top. On a sunny day, you can enjoy a beautiful sea view and sunset from the mountaintop park. There is another historical landmark here: the guard room of the former governor's mansion on the top of the Old Governor's Mountain. After visiting the Peak Park, you can also come down to the Sky Terrace, Lion Pavilion or Lugard Road Lookout to enjoy the night view of Victoria Harbour. The trail is easily accessible and can be done in less than an hour. You can see a gorgeous panoramic view of Kowloon on a fine clear day and some of the neighbouring islands in the South China Sea. High West is one of the peaks on Victoria Mountain on the western side of Hong Kong Island and it is one of the best spots to watch the Victoria Peak sunset. From there, you can also walk down to a dreamy garden in which the Victorian pillars erected and you will be enchanted by the Victoria Peak Garden.

Visit the Peak - Hong Kong

Even though it was a cloudy day, it is well worth a visit to the peak in Hong Kong. My friend told me it was one of the best views, and it was worth it! Although it was a bit chilly at the top, particularly when the sun had set, it is a lovely afternoon out, you can take the tram for $60 up one way, with delightful views along the way. Myself and my friend got some drinks and food at the top, there are plenty of restaurants and souvenirs at the top, even with ice cream! There is a nice walk around the side to get a better view of the city. I would recommend visiting at sunset, so you get a nice view with the Sun and then with the night view as well.
