I had the best meal of my life in Nikko!
Since the Ritz-Carlton Nikko is located halfway up the mountain, I had all three meals at the hotel, which turned out to be the best decision of the trip. The hotel has a wide variety of restaurants, including kaiseki cuisine! You have to book well in advance for this in Tokyo!!!

🍱Breakfast🍱
The hotel's breakfast is very special, with a Japanese set meal feel, and the presentation is so delicate! You can eat in the restaurant, or you can tell the hotel in advance and have it delivered to your room the next day~
.
There are two types of breakfast, Japanese and Western, but the presentation is similar to a set meal box, and you can have milk, coffee, drinks, etc.☕ I recommend eating in the room, looking at the view outside the window is very comfortable~ but the restaurant may not have such a good view by the window.

🍣The Japanese Restaurant🍣
If you want to have breakfast at the restaurant, this is the place to go~ but I had dinner here and enjoyed authentic kaiseki cuisine! The atmosphere is very nice🈵 The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are served one by one, which is very ceremonial. You can enjoy the representative ingredients and dishes of Japanese cuisine in this kaiseki set, so there is no need to queue up for Japanese food in Tokyo!

🍽️Lake House🍽️
This restaurant requires you to walk through an outdoor corridor, so remember to wear a coat at night. It has a bit of a blind box feel! Because all the food is picked from the farm🥕 I heard that every time you go to eat, there will be some changes, and the ingredients are very fresh. The chef is trained in Italy, so there are many Italian elements in the food, which can be considered a fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine.

🍵Afternoon Tea🍵
Recently, there is a super photogenic Christmas tree🎄 in the lobby bar, so you can take a set of Christmas photos while having afternoon tea. The tea is special, with a variety of Japanese teas to choose from, and the on-site brewing is very good~

🥃Bar
The walls are very well designed, with Japanese 🥃 made into a map, and you can talk to the bartender about Japanese 🥃~ but I recommend sitting by the fireplace, the warm sunshine and the slightly tipsy state is very comfortable, very chill in winter~
