The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko Location The hotel is located in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, in a beautiful national park. There is a large lake in front of the hotel and mountains behind it. The scenery is breathtaking. It feels like living in a painting. The air is fresh, and the environment is quiet. It is a great place to relax. Room experience The room I stayed in was quite large and decorated in a Japanese style, but it was also very modern and felt very high-end. There was a lot of wood in the room, which made it feel very cozy. The best part is that each room has a large balcony with a direct view of the lake and mountains outside. The view is amazing. Dining experience The hotel's Japanese restaurant is really good. The chef uses fresh local ingredients to make the dishes, which taste great. Each dish is beautifully presented and very satisfying to eat. The hotel also offers picnic food, which can be eaten by the lake or outside, which is very convenient. Service experience The hotel staff are really friendly and professional. As soon as I walked in, they quickly checked me in and gave me a surprise by upgrading my room. Throughout my stay, they were very attentive and always helpful, which made me feel very comfortable.

The balcony is designed to bring the beautiful lake view indoors and provide more space for guests to relax. The toiletries in the room are from Diptyque. The lotion is very easy to use and absorbs well. The double sink design makes the bathroom very large and spacious. 🍽️Dining Experience Dining is also a highlight at The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko. The hotel's restaurant and bar use local ingredients from Tochigi to prepare delicious dishes. Whether it's the fresh local ingredients, the carefully selected utensils, or the creative presentation that breaks the limits of tradition, every meal here is like a work of art. 🏊‍♀️Leisure Facilities As the first Ritz-Carlton hotel to offer an authentic Japanese hot spring experience, the hotel has introduced hot spring water containing natural sulfur, and the baths are available both outdoors and indoors. The outdoor hot spring pool is separated only by floor-to-ceiling glass windows. In autumn, when the trees are all dyed golden maple, you can enjoy the charming view while soaking in the hot spring. 🌟Service Experience The service at The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko is also impeccable. Every employee is courteous and makes you feel at home. The young man who checked me in was very serious and prepared everything in advance. It's been a long time since I've met such a polite front desk. He even knelt down to check me in. I give him a thumbs up! Overall, The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko exceeded my expectations. The location, facilities, and service all made me feel that this trip was worth it.

Luxury hotels in Japan have a Japanese style The newly opened Ritz-Carlton, Nikko has less than 100 rooms, and the facilities and services are impeccable. Here are some highlights: 1. The rooms are all over 50 square meters, and should all be called junior suites. They have a small living room and a super comfortable balcony, and the large area of wood is very Japanese. 2. The hotel's public areas are very photogenic and have a great texture. The main thing is that the large glass windows of the hotel overlook Japanese gardens, and the light and shadow are beautiful when the sun is shining. The large lawn at the entrance is also very photogenic. 3. The hotel's hot spring is a natural spring, with indoor and outdoor pools, and is very comfortable. 4. The breakfast is amazing! The ingredients, service, and appearance are all top-notch! 5. The kaiseki cuisine (JPY 12,000 per person) at the Japanese restaurant is also worth it. There are 9 courses, which are very delicate and delicious. It is said that their barbecue is delicious, but that will have to wait until next time. 6. Nikko is 2 hours from Tokyo, and the lakeside experience is better than Lake Kawaguchi. There are also many attractions, and it is worth spending 2-3 days here.

There are two types of breakfast, Japanese and Western, but the presentation is similar to a set meal box, and you can have milk, coffee, drinks, etc.☕ I recommend eating in the room, looking at the view outside the window is very comfortable~ but the restaurant may not have such a good view by the window. - 🍣The Japanese Restaurant🍣 If you want to have breakfast at the restaurant, this is the place to go~ but I had dinner here and enjoyed authentic kaiseki cuisine! The atmosphere is very nice🈵 The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are served one by one, which is very ceremonial. You can enjoy the representative ingredients and dishes of Japanese cuisine in this kaiseki set, so there is no need to queue up for Japanese food in Tokyo! - 🍽️Lake House🍽️ This restaurant requires you to walk through an outdoor corridor, so remember to wear a coat at night. It has a bit of a blind box feel! Because all the food is picked from the farm🥕 I heard that every time you go to eat, there will be some changes, and the ingredients are very fresh. When I first came to Nikko, the Ritz-Carlton Nikko was not yet completed. Later, when it opened, I couldn't come to Japan due to mask reasons. This is my first time in Nikko after the mask issue, and I finally checked in at the long-awaited Ritz-Carlton Nikko, which is also the fourth Ritz I unlocked in Japan. Each room at the Ritz-Carlton Nikko has a private balcony and a semi-outdoor lounge area. The hotel's views are mainly divided into Chuzenji Lake view and Nantai Mountain view. The western restaurant is located in a forest, quiet and forest-themed. Walking through the lawn from the lobby to the restaurant gives a sense of déjà vu of the Wizard of Oz. The Ritz-Carlton Nikko is my favorite of the four Ritz-Carltons I have stayed in Japan so far, even surpassing the Ritz-Carlton Kyoto.

Before eating, you might be a little reluctant to start, always let the camera eat first. In addition to a Japanese restaurant, there is also the Lakehouse serving Western dishes, The Bar, and The Lobby Lounge where you can relax and enjoy afternoon tea. In such a niche secret place, it is undoubtedly necessary to include such a quality hotel in the 'must-sleep series'.
