Sometimes it becomes overwhelming to choose which restaurant to go to when you are in Boracay becauase there are literally a lot to choose from. Upon my research, The Sunny Side Cafe came up with a lot of great feedback so we made sure that we have a taste of it on our first day in Boracay.
We ordered a banana peanut butter pancake, a bowl of champorada and English breakfast tea. We were extremely satisfied with the taste and the serving size of food, it can be shared between 2 or 3 people to be honest. It was well worth it especially having a beautiful view while eating.
Address: Station 1 near the Willy's Grotto (Rock)

Very nice
The fact that it’s right on the beach is wonderful. That also had me thinking perhaps the menu would be all premium and overpriced. I had some local friends from the Philippines who agreed that it was still quite decent for a beach side cafe. Views and with a meal go hand in hand.
The iced latte here is fantastic! I went back a couple of times for the coffee alone hehe. And the pancakes are divine. I had the giant one and it was more than enough, in fact they recommended getting half and I did and I still had some leftover. Very nice and filling! I tried the vegan chorizo burger and it was very nice!

Boracay never fails
Was in boracay towards the end of typhoon Kristine’s wrath, and while it was not all sunny weather, Boracay’a breath-taking beach and good food never disappoint! Even got to meet a friendly dog at Sunny Side (hello jasper!!) which made our stay so warm and heart-warming.
There’s so much to see and experience in Boracay - whether it’s a sunny day or gloomy day!! :)

We found this amazing corner Cafe in Station 1, what caught our eye was their enormous chocolate pancakes and their affection for Stray Animals. the waiters and waitresses are always welcoming , never forgetting a face and always ready for a spot of conversation. their menu is lit with amazing breakfast and brunch options not forgetting their fantastic view. get there early to avoid the lines❤️

Sunny side up 🍳
This local restaurant was recommended to be by my bus driver on the way to my hotel on the first day, and I was not disappointed. They have plenty of international and local breakfast options, which I had sapsilog, a local dish of rice and tuna chunks which I loved and boxed up to eat later on the beach (still tasted incredible).
The restaurant was very popular and finding a space was challenging, however they have an upstairs for more seating and the view of the bay is amazing.
If you’re looking for a beach side breakfast, this one is definitely one to try!
