Personally, this is one of my favourite chained hotel. Regardless which Westin you stay, they always create an impeccable ambience and immaculate services to all the in-house guests, of course, same goes to the Westin Kuala Lumpur. There are few super plus points of the hotel from my perspective: 1️⃣ It is only steps away from some KL famous shopping malls such as Pavillion KL, Lot 10, Farenheit and Sungai Wang. Walking to the world famous KLCC Twin Tower, it is only 20 min by walking from the linked bridge through the Pavillion shopping mall. 2️⃣ You will be amazed with its tranquil environment even it is surrounded by the street with a lot of noises. The hotel rooms are fully soundproofed and you wont be annoyed by those noises even you are chilling by the swimming pool. Yet, it is a scenic resort-like pool with trees around and many sun-loungers are prepared. 3️⃣ Unlike other city hotels, Westin is providing a playzone for their guests. While you are having a fun time and have a drink in the Splash (poolside bar), your child could enjoy their time to play the video game in this playzone that just located besides the pool. A secret playzone at The Westin KL and this is a place within the swimming pool area. You can play with your children here with the pool table, darts and games. This area is also popular with birthday parties and you can see many function rooms are being used for parties especially on weekends. This playzone is free and open to all. There is also a kids club facility If you wish to have someone to look after your children. This hotel is family oriented and kids friendly. There are so many well equipped gyms in hotels operating 24 hours daily and The Westin KL is an awesome gym to work out. Their gym is huge and have many machines and free space for exercises. There are towels and drinks available for guests and the shower room is just nearby. Even if you are not a guest staying here, you also can get daily pass to enter the gym. A clean and safe gym is important and you can also engage a private trainer to guide you through the exercise equipment. Come to level 3 at The Westin KL and be greeted for cocktail and canape from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. You will enjoy an awesome buffet spread with 1 live station and many assortments of food. I enjoy the DIY gado gado and the cut your own salad. There are live green plants at the salad bar and you will use a pair of scissors to cut off the leaves for your salad. You can also approach the bar station to get free flow of wine and cocktails. You can place your drinks order and the bartender will bring it to you. I have arrived at Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur and as a club room guest, I can proceed directly to level 3 to check in at the club lounge. You can get the staff to help you to access level 3 buttons in the lift. It is a nice environment here and you can skip the check in at the front lobby. For club guests, they lounge is open all day and close at 10pm. So you can always come here to get some drinks and snacks. For afternoon snacks, it is from 12 noon to 4pm. The swimming pool at Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur is located at level 4 and it is the same floor as the function rooms. There was some birthday party on that day and the kids were playing by the swimming pool. There are 2 pools here and the bigger pool is 1.45 meters deep. So please bring the children to the children pool on the other side. There is no lifeguard but the hotel provide swimming floats which are free to use. The pool is circular in shape and it overlooks to JW Marriot hotel. So there is not much sun for sun tanning here. #kualalumpur #malaysia #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

A five star hotel. Located strategically in the heart of Bukit Bintang area, the famous shopping district & main tourist spot in KL. Room was spacious, amenities was plenty. Whilst hotel itself is dated, it’s very well maintained with care taken to ensure all equipment is working well. The living room at the lounge of Westin Hotel kl serves a wide range of varieties foods.I liked the western foods like satay chicken pizza and the roasted chicken,delicious!Fry kuih teow with big prawn also tasty good.price is at higher range but because I join the club marriot ,can get 35% discount plus used the rm 50 or Rm 100 voucher is very worth.Friendly staffs and nice ambiance.Highly recommended

I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Westin Kuala Lumpur. The room was really well designed and smell nice with comfy bed! I booked high floor and my view was stunning! I had a pleasant stay while working at this hotel. the bed was huge and soft. the facilities was good enough. everything in the apartment works well. Variety of breakfast. The service was fast and the staff was very attentive. Highlights - the hotel is in front of Pavillion and besides Bukit Bintang shopping mall. It was such a bonus for me to go shopping. Best for Shopping Staycation at middle of KL

If you are planing a shopping staycation then The Westin Kuala Lumpur is one of the best hotel to book! It’s just right in front of the famous Pavilion mall and very near to others Mall around BUKIT Bintang area! The check in and check out process is smooth and fast! Reception and lobby staff were efficient and helpful too! Rooms is very large and adequate, but abit dull and outdated, if can refurbish will be awesome! The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was alright and wide variety but taste can still be improve! Breakfast at the basement restaurant was alright, but not amazing. Hotel guests can use the spa facilities like jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which were great! This hotel is accessible through MRT and a roughly 10mins walk away. If you know, Westin is famous for their Heavenly series of product such as Heavenly Shower, Bed, Essence and more! These Heavenly series products used in the hotel give guest the familiar feeling and even homey feeling wherever they travel.

#kualalumpurhotels Located right in the heart of Jln Bukit Bintang opposite the Pavilion mall, the Westin KL definitely has one of the best locations in the city centre. It is showing its age a little though and rooms and pool area are probably in need of a refresh already. The service wasn't the warmest we've had and it was definitely busy in the lobby at check in. The lounge looks very pretty and inviting and the gym is well equipped. The games room with table soccer, table tennis and mini basketball was fun for the kids. There is a pool table and air hockey available in the bar area next to the pool. Overall awesome

The best place to have breakfast will be at a fanciful hotel and The Westin KL offer breakfast to their guests. I choose to have my breakfast at The Living Room instead at the club lounge. They even serve putu mayam, a local dish which is like noodles made from flour, rice and water and you eat it with brown or orange sugar. In a multi-cultural place, it is great to experience different food options and breakfast time is a good time to explore. A lovely and cozy bar just slightly above the hotel lobby and decorated nicely for Christmas. You can even have ice cream here during the day too. If you walk in and turn right, you will enter another bar area which is much more secretive. They have an entire menu with artisan cocktails which is awesome for photo opportunities. There are also options for non-drinkers and they have very good quality coffee too. I did not have much time at The Westin KL but I am planning another trip back. The Westin Lobby is so busy and there are so many cars parked outside too. Even with valet service, the front lobby parking is always crowded. The only time when it is less crowded will be in the early morning. The Westin KL is situated along Bukit Bintang and this road is always congested. I also see many travel groups staying here so there are many big tour buses and medium travel vans too. You might have to queue to check in if you clash with these travel groups at the lobby.
