#tigeryear2022 I enjoyed a luxury #staycation over the start of the Lunar New Year, by spending 3 nights at the Westin Shenzhen Nanshan. As soon as I got out of the Didi, I was met by professional staff who whisked me straight to the reception desk with my luggage. The concierge staff were professional with a great sense of humour. They told me about everything I could take advantage of while I was staying with them, including the Westin Club, the gymnasium, the swimming pool and the buffet breakfast. I was then taken to the 17th floor to my Deluxe Suite, which had views of much of southern Nanshan, including all the way to Hong Kong. My stay was delightful, and I highly recommend the Westin Nanshan.

Shenzhen Yitian Westin Hotel This time, I had the rare opportunity to check out the Westin lounge. There were many surprises, and I can say it was one of the top-quality lounges I've experienced. The outdoor pool is also great, but I didn't try it because the temperature wasn't high. My favorite is still the Westin Heavenly Bed, which allows you to relax beautifully wherever you go. Tips: Fireworks are displayed at Window of the World every Saturday night. If you stay in a high-floor scenic room, you can enjoy the view. There are shopping malls around, and it's in the center of the island, making it convenient to go anywhere. There are several subway stations around, but it takes more than 15 minutes to walk. For the first stay, the hotel was very generous. First of all, thanks for the upgraded suite. The view was great, you could see the stadium and the distant lake. The suite was quite large, although it has been around for some years, it is well-maintained, and there were no issues in the room. There is a pool and a gym, and uniquely, there is a barbershop, which is rare. The executive lounge has a wide view, but there is no afternoon tea, just drinks, coffee, and cookies. Happy hour is at 5:30 PM. The food variety is normal, but you can get full. If there are many people, you need to wait for a seat. Overall, the room experience was quite good. I found the breakfast to be very poor, with very average taste and few varieties. The hot dishes were mainly vegetarian, and I didn't eat well. It was on par with Four Points by Sheraton, which was very disappointing and did not match the Westin brand. The watermelon at the Westin breakfast is their specialty. For those who pursue quality in breakfast and lounge dining, I suggest going to the Marriott in Tai Di. The dining there is excellent, with many hearty dishes!

We decided to treat ourselves to a staycation in our own city of Shenzhen in this great luxury hotel! ✨Hotel Highlights: Top floor grill restaurant with incredible choices. There is a fantastic view over Window of The World. ♨️Amenities: Outdoor pool with room for sunbathing at the pool side. There is a poolside bar however it wasn’t open when we visited, perhaps it was too early. There is also a fully equipped gym and a spa offering a variety of massages and beauty treatments. Be prepared that the Spa prices began at close to 1000 yuan. 🛁Room Environment: We stayed in the Deluxe King Room which was a great size and had a bathtub as well as a rain shower. The bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! The TV could have been slightly more modern as the channel options weren’t great, but that didn’t affect our stay at all. 🍽️Breakfast: we had the buffet breakfast and definitely recommend. There are Chinese and Western breakfast options, including a pancake station, noodle station, dim sum options, English fry up options, cereals, pastries, and coffee machine. 🛎️Hotel Service: fantastic services all around, from checking in at the front desk, the restaurant staff, and gym staff. We didn’t encounter any problems. 💗Guest Experience: I would definitely stay here again for a luxury hotel stay! The bathroom is open-plan with a large bathtub, and the bed is very comfortable with the Heavenly Bed, you can fall asleep as soon as you lie down. The room also has a very thoughtful foot massager, suitable for guests who are tired from playing during the day. —— Restaurant🖼 Due to time constraints, I only went to the breakfast restaurant. The variety is not too much, but there are still highlights, especially the egg tarts, which are delicious without being greasy. It's close to the Metro Line 1 and right next to Shenzhen Avenue (which I personally dub as the most beautiful road on rainy days), making it very convenient to go anywhere. 🏡 The rooms are very spacious, though the decor might be a bit dated and not minimalist or fashionable, the attention to detail is spot on, including spare blankets and such. As a Marriott member, I was upgraded to an executive room with a view of the Window of the World fireworks, which was an unbeatable view, and I'm crazy about calling for the Marriott Bonvoy program. 🛎️ The queue for check-in at the front desk was a bit long, but they were very considerate in guiding guests to the second floor for check-in. When I checked in, there was a drunk foreigner babbling non-stop, and the hotel's attitude was unbelievably good. I suggest that for such customers, just call the police and take them away, as there's no need to indulge some foreigners who throw tantrums in China.😠 🥣 There are two places for breakfast, and if you're worried about the crowd, you can settle it in the executive lounge on the second floor. 🏨 Shenzhen Yitian Westin Hotel The overall feeling is pretty good. 🌟Highlights: The room is cleaned multiple times a day, always during times when we are out, and they even help fold clothes. There's a simple welcome fruit upon check-in, and the body wash has a white tea fragrance, which is quite comfortable. The staff are young, polite, and great with children. The Luo Han Guo tea and mint lemon water in the lobby are very fresh. 🍽Dining recommendation: We used the buffet breakfast for a week, which has a wide variety; the complimentary evening executive lounge meal for members is also good, with four or five hot dishes, two soups, eight cold dishes, various desserts, bread, beverages, and cocktails. They change the variety every day, from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. Some days we would eat before taking the kids out and could have another meal when we came back. 👍Most recommended: The outdoor swimming pool is quite large, divided into three areas, and the water temperature is good. Even small babies can safely float and play. It looks great at any time of the day (let's not talk about the night, even if you live in the Heavenly Palace, you can't see a thing) Westin Hotel in Shenzhen Yitian People from Guangdong can't refuse morning tea although the flavor is just so-so, but it's cheap and it allows for a cameo of the newly bought little bunny over!
