The Thirteen Hongs Museum is located in the Cultural Park, displaying breathtakingly beautiful collections. The first floor presents the 'Historical Development of Guangzhou Thirteen Hongs in the Qing Dynasty', and the second floor is even more precious, displaying the cultural relics donated by Wang Heng and his wife Feng Jie. The richness here is simply dazzling! 😍✨
From ivory carvings to Guang embroidery, Guangcai, Diancui, to silverware, glass paintings, especially those exquisite shell carvings and eggshell pots, each one is intoxicating. It's as if you're traveling through time in these ancient collections, feeling the prosperity of the past. 🕰️🎨

The Thirteen Hongs Museum in Guangzhou is located on the site of the Thirteen Hongs trading houses in the Qing Dynasty (within Guangzhou Cultural Park, No. 37 Xidi Second Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province), covering an area of 3060 square meters, with a total construction area of 6090 square meters, and currently holds more than 4800 pieces (sets) of cultural relics. The permanent exhibitions include the 'Qing Dynasty Guangzhou Thirteen Hongs Historical Exhibition' and the 'Special Exhibition of Thirteen Hongs Period Cultural Relics Donated by Wang Heng and Feng Jie'.
On August 31, 2016, the Thirteen Hongs Museum started its trial operation and officially opened to the public for free on September 30. The museum holds over 5400 pieces (sets) of cultural relics, and displays the history of the Thirteen Hongs in the form of 'cultural relics + historical documents'. Unlike many other museums, all the cultural relics in this museum were donated by the public without using a penny from the government. Among them, Mr. Wang Heng, a famous cultural relic collector and entrepreneur in Guangzhou, and his wife, Ms. Feng Jie, donated Guangzhou colored porcelain, Tongcao paintings, Guangzhou embroidery, ivory utensils, export fans, Wuchang furniture, silverware, enamelware, glass paintings, watercolor paintings, oil paintings, lacquerware, etc., covering the main export crafts of Guangzhou in the Qing Dynasty. For this reason, the museum has specially set up a 'Special Exhibition of Cultural Relics Donated by Wang Heng and Feng Jie' on the second floor, which includes hundreds of pieces of Wuchang sour branch furniture, a rare specialized collection in China; more than 600 pieces of Guangzhou colored porcelain from the Qing Kangxi period to the modern times; and hundreds of Tongcao paintings, etc.
