#timetotravel We came during late afternoon on a weekday and the Time Out Market was quite empty. You may consider this a tourist trap but honestly we saw quite a few locals dining at the Time Out Market and the food is not too expensive. At the end of the day, as long as the food is good and not overpriced, i’m happy ☺️ This market is ideal for tourists that wants to try out different kind of local dishes. We ordered a portion of tuna tartare and ham served with melon and sourdough. Everything was so fresh and amazing!!! The melon and ham combo was so amazing, I still dream about it this day 🤤😋 Hands down, I would 100% recommend visiting this market. #境外遊#foodmarket#lisbon

#celebratewithtrip Time Out Market is located in Av. 24 de Julho 49, 1200-479, Lisboa, in the Mercado da Ribeira at Cais do Sodre, only 4 minutes 350 meters walk from Cais do Sodre Metro station. It is open daily from 1000-0000. It takes up just half the space, with another half still being occupied by traditional market stalls selling fresh products like fish, fruits and vegetables. It has 36 kiosks selling regional specialties such as Portuguese Duck rice, Seafood Risotto and Bacalhau Batoteiro ( Codfish with spinach, carrots and white sauce). All the foods i had ordered, tasted delicious, but the only problem was finding a place to sit, because the crowds are terrible, especially when you go in during lunch time.

Wonderful culinary experience! It’s a must visit in Lisbon! Great food! Great drinks! Amazing atmosphere! Nice people! Definitely a place to come back every time you are in Lisbon. There are plenty of choices for any kind of food, very good red wine, best beer in town, you must try it! A vibrant food market. Good selection of different restaurants. Everyone seated in the centre with the restaurants around you. Busy but not long to wait for a table. Highly recommending for people who wanted to try out all the good Portuguese restaurant brands in one place. You can find cod fish cooked in many ways in different stores and we ordered 3 types. All are delicious. The seafood rice in Portugal is different from Spain as Portugal style has more gravy while Spain is more dry. Both are delicious. Perfect for a quick bite to an evening of culinary discovery.
