When we went, there was no line, and there were plenty of other seafood options around, including grilled eel and wagyu sea urchin. We tried many places that required reservations, but this one, from Osaka to Kyoto and finally to Tokyo, was the best! The key point is no line and no reservation needed! The Tsukiji Market is closed on this Sunday, but most of the outer market is still open. There are fewer people, making it a more pleasant experience. I only waited about 10 minutes at Kurogin! The food is delicious 😋. Strolling around Tsukiji is very relaxing and tasty, and the shopkeepers are very friendly. Most places accept credit cards and Quicpay. Walking through the colorful and buzzling Tsujiki market, you can find many fresh seafood sellers, to skewers which allow u to choose and they cook on the spot, to dried food sellers and to many eateries. You will get a chance to select many Sushi restaurants along both side of the market. it was an food hunting day for us as you get to try different kinds of food! I went to Tsukiji, the traditional food gateway♪ I went on a Sunday, so many of the specialty shops that buy at the market and wholesale were closed, but I still enjoyed the gourmet food! 😍 This salmon scallop tekura bowl was only 1000 yen! The scallops on top were plump and thick and very delicious! Other dishes included grilled squid, grilled turban shells, and fish soup! The fish soup was also very satisfying with lots of ingredients! I also had tamagoyaki and fruit! Tsukiji Fish market is a fun tourist trap! If you love Seafood - it’s a vibrant place to be. We stayed in Ginza and walked over Tsukiji fish market on two occasions. First time: we arrived around 10.15 am on a Friday - it was packed with people! Long lines to popular stalls and restaurants! Second time: we got there around 8.20 am on a Sunday. Not as many people and lines yet. But by 9.30 am - the crowds were there. Try the Skewers! Seafood & Wagyu Beef Skewers are getting grilled and torched on spot! Everything we tried were delicious!
