We took the kids to Huzhou Longemont Paradise for the weekend and accidentally discovered a great place to take the kids nearby - Changxing Tuying Wetland Park.
⭐️Tuying Wetland Park is a 4A-level scenic area, famous for its clear lakes, winding rivers, and vast reed marshes. The scenery changes with the seasons, and the autumn breeze brings a refreshing coolness, with reed flowers dancing in the wind, creating a fairyland-like atmosphere. In winter, migratory birds stop by, adding a touch of wildness.
Take a boat to the island and shuttle through the green waves to experience the tranquility and beauty of the wetland park up close. The natural oxygen bar is home to black swans, egrets, gray cranes, black storks, and other birds, as well as various plant species with important ecological value. There are several hiking routes and water adventure projects that children love.
Tuying Wetland Park regularly holds various cultural festivals. During the rice harvest season, the Scarecrow Festival will be held on November 27, featuring scarecrows in the shape of airplanes, cats, kangaroos, dinosaurs, and more. The scene is particularly spectacular, and the event aims to promote wetland culture and raise awareness of environmental protection.

Set off on an autumn countryside walk and discover a secret park hidden on an island, as if you have entered the comic book world of Hayao Miyazaki.

The park is only accessible by boat. The river, islands, and reeds along the way form a tranquil autumn wetland landscape. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the island.

There is currently a straw festival on the farming island, where rustic countryside elements are transformed into uniquely shaped straw art, perfect for taking photos. You can also try making a scarecrow yourself.

The island is mainly characterized by its natural scenery, and you can also see geese, black swans, and egrets. If you take your time, you can finish exploring in 2 hours.

I thought West Lake was beautiful enough until I came to Taihu Lake...
I regret not visiting Changxing earlier, but I'm glad I came at this time of year!
The autumn scenery by Taihu Lake is so, so, so comfortable!
I strongly recommend spending a weekend vacation in Changxing, a hidden gem.
