The Thousand Torii Gates of Ukiha City, a must-visit spot.
Fukuoka also has a very famous group of thousand torii gates, which has become a popular check-in spot in recent years. It is the 'Ukiha Inari Shrine' located in Ukiha City. From the highest point of the torii gates, you can look down and enjoy the panoramic view of Ukiha City against the backdrop of blue skies and white clouds. The air on the mountain is very fresh with no pollution at all. The most beautiful times to visit are during the autumn foliage season or the spring cherry blossom season. The shrine was founded in 1957, and the entire row of torii gates consists of about 300 stone steps, with a total of 91 torii gates standing on the mountain. The thousand torii gates stretch from the top of the mountain to the bottom, attracting many tourists who come to take photos. The torii gates extend all the way to the foot of the mountain, connecting to Route 52, seemingly linking nature with the city.
