This is a very thoughtful exhibition
I saw time, the past, the future, and the artist himself
Nearly 90 paintings are connected by time
The low-saturation visual experience seems to tell a story
The occasional few bright works seem to be emotional turning points
The entire exhibition hall has a high ceiling, and the paintings are arranged in a staggered manner
The enlarged space gives visitors a great sense of relaxation
Visiting the exhibition on weekdays gives you the feeling of having the place to yourself

Beijing New Exhibition | A Visual Feast of the Power of Language, Lawrence
| A Visual Feast of the Power of Language, Lawrence. A Large Retrospective of Lawrence Weiner
Language is no longer a simple tool for information transmission
but has become an independent art medium.
Using words, phrases, and even sentences, embedding them directly into walls, floors, or as independent installations, challenges the traditional perception of art by the viewers.
The visual expression of text is pushed to the extreme. He uses visual elements such as the shape, size, and arrangement of text to create a series of artworks that are both profoundly meaningful and aesthetically pleasing!

Beijing 798 Citywalk This art museum is really beautiful and photogenic
🔥 Many long-term residents of Beijing have the habit of visiting exhibitions or checking in during holidays. Personally, I like the quiet environment amidst the hustle and bustle. I am particularly impressed by the UCCA Ullens Center for Contemporary Art.
✔ This art museum stands out among the many museums in the capital, both in terms of its exterior and the content of its exhibitions. Especially with its Bauhaus red brick exterior, the building is a renovated factory from the 1950s. The multi-layered curved glass curtain wall design and the rich content of the exhibitions always attract me to check in as soon as a new exhibition opens.
🌻 In the scorching summer, the best way to escape the heat is to quickly come here to see the exhibition. The cool space instantly calms the restless heart. First, appreciate each piece of art and ponder the artistic mysteries within. Then, walk through each carefully designed space, feeling the artistic atmosphere. It is truly a short "immersive" experience. The current exhibition: Lawrence Weiner Retrospective, is a positive and minimalist exhibition.
🍂 About the time and moment: I strongly recommend going at noon on a sunny day. The key point is that there are fewer people at noon!! The air conditioning is sufficient, so no need to fear the heat. With the support of outdoor light, many places are great for taking photos. The entire exhibition hall is moderately sized, and it takes about 2 hours to walk through.
👣 About the best route and check-in spots: From a photographer's perspective, there are many places in the exhibition hall worth checking in, such as the huge staircase at the entrance, the ultra-high art wall on the first floor, the bookstore, and the cultural and creative store on the second floor. If interested, you can also get a stamp at the entrance as a souvenir.
⭐ About the scenery: The overall interior design style of the exhibition hall feels relatively simple, mainly in red, light yellow, and silver-gray tones. It has some INS style, but the local color sense is also quite hot. When the sun shines into the building at noon in midsummer, the sense of three-dimensionality is strong.
🏡 About the facilities: The art museum is relatively large. In addition to the usual exhibition content, there are enough rest areas set up here all year round. If you are tired of walking, you can also visit the UCCA café and bookstore to relax a bit more. The popular staircase at the entrance might be a favorite spot for children.
📷 About the photo spots: It is recommended to use a large aperture wide-angle zoom lens for taking photos of the exhibition, preferably 24-70mm.
🎤 About transportation: Just navigate directly. It is located in the core area of the 798 Art District, close to the parking lot.
👍 About ticket purchase: Just buy on-site. The staff is enthusiastic.
🔥 Tips to know before checking in:
1. There are many people on weekends, go early.
2. You can store backpacks, cameras need to be handheld.
3. No eating or drinking in the exhibition area.
4. Bring your own book for stamping.
5. The museum café has UCCA's limited latte art, you can ask the waiter to unlock it.
Specific location: Inside 798 Art District, No. 4 Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang District

Exhibition | Japanese Photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto Beijing Photography Exhibition
Seascapes
Theaters
Architecture
Dioramas
Portraits
Sea of Buddha
Lightning Fields
Bush Impression, Heart Sutra
.....
UCCA Ullens Center for Contemporary Art hosts Hiroshi Sugimoto's photography exhibition, featuring a total of 13 series with more than 120 pieces, encompassing the major works of his nearly 50-year photography career. The content is very rich.
In the theaters, he sets the exposure time according to the duration of a movie, compressing the entire film into a single still image. This photo is thus filled with a sense of story and life.
He can give life to the 'people' in wax museums and the 'animals' in natural history museums through photography.
Regarding the seas he photographs, he says this is his way of projecting the seascapes in his mind onto the canvas of the world.
Hiroshi Sugimoto's unique understanding of photography as a medium: a technique concerning time and space. 'Time' becomes the theme that runs through all of Sugimoto's creations—every contemplation of the present, past, and future is condensed within the set exposure time.
The endless instant, 'endless' and 'instant' are two words related to time yet with opposing meanings, interpreting the concept of unity of opposites. It made me begin to understand what 'conceptual photography' means.
From birth to death, the exposure time for humans is only once. A person's life in the vast universe is almost folded into a single photograph, but it is a photo full of vitality, recording laughter and tears, pride and loss, and endless love.

Beijing Art Wanderings | Miguel Ángel Payano: Perception-Object
Beijing UCCA Center for Contemporary Art is currently presenting an exhibition by artist Miguel Ángel Payano, which constructs a unique artistic language around what he calls 'thick collage'. His works are vibrant yet rigorous, eschewing textual references or implications while containing rich connotations and polysemy.
At the exhibition, characters and landscapes are cleverly displayed on canvas with sculptural elements and readymades, documenting the unique artistic expression and practice formed by his past works.

Endless Moments—Hiroshi Sugimoto Art Exhibition
"If we judge Sugimoto's works from the perspective of photography, then we have all been deceived. He merely uses photography to fulfill the philosophical, contemporary, and artistic aspects of his works."—Wang Taiping
Ancient art requires history, while contemporary art relies on concepts; ancient art focuses on "recording", while contemporary art stems from "expression"
I personally have never been fond of contemporary art because it's intuitively "not pretty" or "not beautiful". Over the past few years, various opportunities have allowed me to scratch the surface and form a new opinion: on one hand, it's important to understand what the artist is trying to express; on the other hand, one must experience what they "see", "feel", and "think"—

The exhibition is divided into 13 themes, with more than 120 works, showcasing Hiroshi Sugimoto's creative career spanning over 50 years.

☘️Architecture Series: Includes the World Trade Center, Eiffel Tower, etc., soft focus signifies the past blurred by time

👉【Exhibition Route】
Apart from the Electric Discharge Series and some of the Optical Series in the hall, the rest of the thematic series are in the main exhibition hall.

Beijing Parent-Child Exhibition|After seeing this exhibition, it made me re-examine my own views on parent-child education
It is said that children are a mirror of their parents. Over the weekend, I went to the UCCA Lab in 798 with my child to see a parent-child exhibition🖼. The works were completed by 15 artists in collaboration with their own children👨👩👧👦. In this exhibition called 'Book Like a Mirror'🪞, we saw the diversity of parent-child relationships and the details in parent-child life that we easily ignore, but they record and magnify in their works🔎.
⭕️Exhibition highlights:
✅13 works from 15 artists and 13 families, all completed in collaboration with their children, presenting a fusion of maturity and innocence
✅The exhibited works involve painting🎨, photography, material installation, fabric art, video imaging🎥, etc., with rich forms
✅During the exhibition, adults will have their own vision and understanding, and children will have their own intuition and views. This exhibition is very suitable for parent-child viewing
🔸Children's exhibition experience
Almost half of the exhibited works were completed by the artists' children themselves, and their immature brushes resonated with the children who visited the exhibition. For example, in the circular light box💡work 'Landscape' created by Yang Guangnan and his daughter Yang Xianxian, the child could tell me what he saw in the painting🖌, and the answers were imaginative. I believe that Yang Xianxian also had the same freedom when creating.
🔸Thoughts brought by some works
☑️The work of artist Li Shurui and musician Li Daiguo with their baby Chen Wo, using video🎦 to show some daily life of family education during the 😷mask period. These fragments of life will resonate greatly with every parent-child family👨👩👦 who has personally experienced and experienced that special period. That special period when family education time is longer than school education time, brings us as parents the thought of 'how to better educate children' and 'how to educate children to face difficulties in life'🤔.
☑️The work of designer Zhu Sha and her daughter Zhu Kankan, Zhu Sha made a large-format same-name picture book📔 of 146 works🎨 created by her daughter from 2-7 years old. The work also includes the child's own statement about the work. Visitors can flip through and listen with gloves and headphones🎧. The child's daily scribbles that we may think are 'messy' are carefully arranged by the designer father using his own expertise, and printed and exhibited in the art gallery🏛. In addition to clearly seeing the child's growth and progress in art during the browsing📖 process, it also reflects a father's affirmation and respect for the child's art. We used to accept 'father-son' education, and then slowly advocated 'friend-style' parent-child education, but this parent-child work reflects a deeper parent-child education method and relationship, which is worth our deep thought, discussion and reference.
Children👦 see the fun and imagination in the works, while parents will bring more thoughts about parent-child education through these works. The exhibition is very suitable for parent-child viewing together.

Why is Picasso called genius? This exhibition tells you!
Picasso launched to Beijing, and the heart was raging for a while. Last week, Huajiantang specially watched the "Night Visit Picasso" exhibition for the pollen. On this quieter night, the opportunity to talk to the masters is really rare and there are many gains.
Picasso's life is a dialogue with the self in his creation. The works in the second and sixth pictures of the picture are self-portraits of his different periods. The work in the seventh photo is the set model of his set for the ballet triangle cap, and the eighth is his documentary photography at the triangle cap set scene. Picasso said that I wanted to be a painter, but I became Picasso...
I was thinking at first, more than 100 Picasso exhibits arrived in China, not in Guobo, China Art Museum, but It was incredible to show at the contemporary art institution Ullens. I can't even imagine what this exhibition is like. The night visit to the evening was a special look. It felt unexpectedly good, and it was good in reason. It was wonderful. First of all, the exhibition takes Picasso's life as a clue, transforming his growth and creative context with his style of writing, as the main line: his painting talent, his blue and pink period, his cubism and symbols The creation, his modern style and the skillfulness are all presented in the works. There is a source and a return. Even if you don't know him, following this exhibition will know a little about the birth and growth of genius.
There are a lot of ingenious parts in the exhibition. For example, the exhibits carefully and as much as possible put his early work together in time and style. For example, the creation of the "Triangle Hat" stage play in the last three pictures is a combination of several paintings, and at the same time, the huge creative photos are used to restore the creative environment at that time. In these details, it can be seen that curating is a lot of work. As an expert teacher at the scene said, Picasso's self-portrait tends to mature at a young age, and his self-portrait of the year before his death is a child with a brush. Returning to the truth is what he has been pursuing. After all, if he is realistic, his sketch is enough to be realistic at the age of 12.
Aside from the modernist and symbolic works of the late creation, Picasso's posters, menus, and stage sets created and designed in the early years are still super high today. The composition of the paintings, the color scheme of the small paintings, the absolute high level, and the content presentation are enough to show that he is an interesting person. So high-yield, it is said that Picasso's living works are as high as 37,000 pieces, so the big output can still change, keep interesting, and maintain creativity. It is true that the master is right.
Exhibition information
"The birth of a genius of Picasso" exhibition until September 1, 2019, the ticket for the full-day pass is 188 / person. The masterpiece is really worth a closer look.

The Dune Art Museum closed on Monday, so if you want to go, please look ahead to the date and avoid the closing time. At the top of the Dune Museum there is a large viewing deck overlooking some of the beaches.
There are some mountain-shaped art installations on the beach in front of the Dune Museum, mainly for taking pictures. Under the aerial photography, the side of the sand dune art museum near the sea is three large circular appearances. There are many light-transparent holes at the top of the museum. After the completion of the sand dune art museum, a layer of sand is covered in the entire art gallery. The museum is hidden in the sand dunes, so it is called the Dune Art Museum. The Dune Art Museum is in the farthest position, and the main entrance is on the side close to the road.

"Flowing" is based on the flow of people, goods and ideas. The box "persuasively" examines our strategy of persuading others and ourselves. "Control" focuses on creating order and solving problems for human beings. The dispute and the ability to organize political and social structures are examined. Walking 798, no one is not fascinated by its fashion and trend, modern and avant-garde, and no one easily overlooks the old story that it has been and is still popular with. It is a place with a tone when it comes to thinking about it or looking to the future.
Street, the Bauhaus-style building behind the tall building, after the changes of the times, still like the scenery, always remind people, here used to be.
I can also watch a variety of interesting exhibitions here. I went to see two exhibitions, one is related to metal nails, there are all kinds of magical combinations, very bold.
The other is more avant-garde, the theme is "thinking." There are many creative designs and installations.
