#seascapes This summer, I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Vasiliki, a beautiful seaside village on the island of Lefkada, Greece. 🏝️ If you’re looking for a place that combines crystal-clear waters, a laid-back vibe, and stunning natural beauty, Vasiliki is the perfect spot. The best part? There’s no entrance fee because the beach is free, which makes it ideal for budget travelers like me! Vasiliki is famous for its windsurfing, thanks to the perfect wind conditions in the bay. Even if you’re not into water sports, the beach itself is lovely, with smooth pebbles and calm, turquoise waters that are perfect for swimming and relaxing. I spent hours just lounging by the water, soaking in the sun and the views of the surrounding hills. 🏖️ The village of Vasiliki is charming, with plenty of tavernas where you can enjoy fresh seafood and local Greek dishes. I highly recommend taking a boat trip from the harbor to nearby beaches like Agiofili, which is absolutely stunning and only accessible by boat or a challenging hike. Nearby attractions include the gorgeous Porto Katsiki beach, just a short drive away, and the impressive Dimosari Waterfalls, where you can take a refreshing dip. Vasiliki is also a great base for exploring the rest of Lefkada, which is full of beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and quaint villages.
