Ambiance/Facilities - this is a luxurious hotel located right besides the Mekong River, a quieter quarter but walking distance to all of the tourists attractions in Old Town. Our rooms are spacious and the bed are super comfy, a non forgettable stay at Luang Prabang.
Highlights - when having the breakfast can have a sweeping view on Mekong River, stunning and gorgeous.

A cozy and laidback stay
The hotel was a midscale property which was a bit away from the main town but that was a good thing as it was much more quiet and serene.
There's a very nice enclosed garden which adds to the serenity. If i recall correctly it used to be one of the king's residences. The rooms themselves are basic and actually quite dark, but you can definitely open the windows for fresh air and light. Just make sure you close them at night as bugs will fly in. The bathrooms are a bit in need of an update but nothing horrendous.
There's also a breakfast buffet available and it was quite alright; I really enjoyed the fresh fruits and eggs cooked to order. You also get a glimpse of the river which I really enjoyed!
Staff were competent, very eager to help with requests and always polite and friendly. Also there's a free shuttle pickup service from the airport which I found absolutely amazing.

Victoria Xiengthong palace hotel is one of a great hotel which situatedin the Luang Prabang old town, surrounding by Buddhist temples and Mekong river, great views, so we have our simple breakfast which included in the riom rate, the menu is limited choices but quite delicious, they have juices and fruits aside, coffee and also salad.
The out seats is amazing views of the mekong, comfortable tables setting, friendly staff.
