Harbin Shangzhi Wanfo Mountain
Harbin Shangzhi Wanfo Mountain is located 24 km east of Shangzhi City and 16 km from Yimianpo Town. It is a famous Buddhist site in Heilongjiang Province. The mountain is steep and majestic, with many scenic spots. The peaks are covered with strange trees, and the valleys are filled with clouds and mist. The blue sky, red cliffs, white clouds, and purple peaks create a fairyland-like atmosphere. There are 13 caves of different shapes in the mountain, including Wanfo Cave, Doushuai Cave, Toulong Cave, Dizang Cave, Erlang Cave, Wenshu Cave, Chuanliang Cave, Qingchan Cave, Fajing Cave, and Yanshou Cave. Among them, Wanfo Cave is the largest, and it is cool in summer and warm in winter, making it a great place to escape the heat and cold. The local folk song "The Palace of the Moon in the sky, Wanfo Cave on earth; after living here for 20 days, an old man becomes a child" is the best praise for it. In short, Wanfo Mountain is a paradise that combines pine trees, peaks, rocks, springs, and caves, and integrates the wonders, majesty, beauty, wilderness, and tranquility. Wanfo Mountain covers an area of 20 square kilometers and is divided into six tourist areas: Buddhist temple, Wanfo Cave (including other caves), Tenglong Gorge, Wofoshan, Toulong Peak, and Luohan Peak, as well as a catering service area. It is planned to be built into the largest tourist Buddhist resort in Heilongjiang Province.
