WATU LUMBUNG BEACH - YOGYAKARTA
Not sandy, nor safe for swimming. The floor is full of coral, while strong winds make every tourist can be slapped by the waves. To achieve it, tourists are challenged to walk first. Despite all that, Watu Lumbung Beach is still much sought after. Watu Lumbung Beach is one of the interesting beaches in Gunungkidul. Its appearance is very far from other commercial beaches in this district. However, the charm of its natural panorama has become an irreplaceable charm. Not only to enjoy nature, tourists also hunt to capture its beauty through photos. After walking, visitors will arrive at a hilltop. From here, you can see a panoramic view of the blue sea in the distance. The most striking sight is a pair of large rocks. From afar, it's not as big as one might think. The two stones are the main mascot of this beach. The largest stone named Watu Lumbung is shaped like a barn building. While the smaller stone is named Watu Semar.

WATU LUMBUNG GUNUNG KIDUL
Watu Lumbung Educational Village was established in the middle of a teak plantation area. The concept of nature is also inherent in the construction of buildings in this area. The use of bamboo is used to create relaxing huts among the teak trees. Some of the buildings in the form of tree houses are made up to three floors with living teak tree trunks as the pillars. From here, visitors can enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the hill.
Visitors are free to choose a stall while enjoying from the existing stalls. Some of the stalls in Watu Lumbung Educational Village include Kedai Wedangan, Center for Sate Kiloan, Lembayung, Kedai Susu, and Alas Culinary. One of the attractions of Watu Lumbung Educational Village is the tree substation built on one of the teak trees. The concept of this tree substation imitates the tree substation in Kalibiru, Kulon Progo. Security and safety also do not escape the management's supervision. From the top of the tree booth, visitors can enjoy views of the twisting Opak River and the iconic Opak Bridge. In addition to hanging out, visitors are also invited to do reforestation by planting trees around Watu Lumbung Hill. In addition, visitors can also donate reading books in the library here. By providing a minimum of 3 reading books, visitors will get an award in the form of free food, drinks or souvenirs.
The best time to visit Watu Lumbung Educational Village is in the afternoon because visitors can watch the beautiful sunset on the western horizon from the top of the hill. To get to this place, visitors can explore Parangtritis Street from Yogyakarta City. After crossing the Kali Opak bridge near the Parangtritis Beach retribution, after passing directly turn left or go to the Parangtritis-Siluk alternative road. 200 meters there will be a signpost around the direction to the educational village.
